Third Person POV

Four people are seen fighting a group of giants spider and are losing. The group consists of a middle-aged man with a Spear, two teenage boys with swords, and a girl wielding a bow. They are failing to fend off the spiders spewing silk to restrict the people's movement. The spiders are now moving forward.

The young man runs forward to kill the spider nearest to him but is halted as the other spider fires another round of silk. He was forced to jump back to safety and regroup with his allies.

" What are these things?! I don't remember them being in the book of inhabitants of BloodBush forest! " shouted the boy to his allies.

" Do I look like I know what these things are? All I know is that we will become bug food if you don't stop talking, so do us a favor and focus!" said the girl shooting another arrow at the aggressor.

" Bloodback spider, they seem to be males since males are known for their ability to spew silk at their prey. " said the man to the youngsters

"Anything else to say, old man ? " asked one of the other boys

" I'm not that old brat. " said the man but was ignored by the boy. " but this is unusual for they are known to live solitarily unless..." he continued

" Unless what?" the boy asked again while cutting the silk that is headed toward him

" Everyone quickly looks for a slightly bigger one of these things! These things are following orders from a female, who are known for controlling an army of males and wiping out towns and villages if allowed to grow in numbers!" shouted the man to his companions.

They started to look at the creatures trying to spot the female while defending themselves from their attacks. One of the boys spots the female and immediately runs towards it.

" Come back here! We have to attack it together! " called out the girl to the boy.

" I'll be ok, don't worry about me." but was cut off as the female Bloodback spit outs a glob of green liquid that melts the boy's sword.

" huh?" the boy stops from his tracks in shock that his sword was destroyed. When the Bloodback sees the opportunity immediately springs into action to strike the human boy down.

The others immediately try to save their companion but was blocked by the male Bloodback.

They watch as the Bloodback sharp legs are about to skewer their companion while the boy's life flashes before his eyes as the spider's leg is about to impale him.

" Skorupi use Pin Missile!"

" Skoru PI"

They heard a voice behind them and witness several white streams of arrow-shaped projectiles going past them and knocking the female bloodback away from their companion and also hitting the other spiders. They look back to see a girl wielding a rusty sword with a red scorpion-like creature beside her.

" Skorupi use Acupressure on both of us and follow it up with night slash!" they heard the girl command and the scorpion creature's claw glow white as it poked the girl's leg and itself. A red glow surrounds the two, then both of them bolted to the spider. The girl then slashed and hacked the spiders managing to kill 2 while weaving through the attacks of silk. The red scorpion is also cutting through the spiders with its claws releasing purple energy while slashing any silk heading its way and killing 3 spiders.

The people who are watching from the sidelines were shocked as they are having a hard time against these spiders while this mysterious girl and creature easily killed the spiders.

The last remaining spider is the female who was ordering the other spiders. Seeing its minions perished it immediately tries to run away.

Seeing the spider running away the group tried to chase the spider but stopped seeing that the red scorpion has chased it down and cut the spider's legs to stop it from escaping. the legless spider can only screech in pain as its attacker climbed its back and immediately plunged its claw into the spider's head killing it.

The scorpion immediately runs back to the girl with an expression that of a dog wanting it to be praised with its tail swaying side to side. The girl smiled and scratched its chin and said " You did a great job Skorupi." " Skorrrrrrrrr." the creature surprisingly released a purr which sounded kind of cute?

" Excuse me, I want to thank you for saving our friend and helping us. " the girl with the bow said " Can we know your name Ms?" the girl asked.

"Oh, my name is Hikari, Hikari Yami and pls don't call me Ms it makes it sound like I'm old and this girl right here is Skorupi." Hikari introduced herself and her pokemon " Can I also know your names?" Hikari asked the group.

" My name is Sally the old man right there is John-"" I'm not old!""- the right one is my brother Sam and the idiot-"Hey!" you saved is Peter." Sally finished introducing the group to Hikari.

" If you don't mind me asking what are you doing in this part of the woods and what kind of creature is that? Skorupi was it? it's my first seeing such a creature." Asked john curiously

" Oh, Skorupi and I were near and heard someone fighting so we followed it and the rest is history. Skorupi is a pokemon." Hikari said to them as Skorupi climbed her trainers back

" Pokemon? It's my first time hearing about it." asked Sam while trying to calm the horses.

" Well from where I came from pokemon are very common and most people have them as pets, companions, and partners. " Hikari said telling them a half-truth and half lie. since she can't tell that pokemon exist from another world, they may think she is crazy.

" what can are guys doing before you guys get attacked?" Hikari asked.

"We were just returning from our quest of killing some boars that are terrorizing farmers' farms since they eat and uproot their crops. As a reward, they give us some of their crops. we will be returning to the city to report to our guild about our mission success " Peter answered while removing the ropes of silk from the road.

" Can we come with you guys? we were just about to leave the forest after packing our things thing" Hikari hoped to tag along to leave the forest.

" Sure the more the merrier." answered John not minding it since it's the least they can do for her since she and her companion saved them.

"Ok, I'm going to get my stuff I'll be right back" Hikari run back to the forest.

Hikari POV

I'm running back to my camp while opening my system because after the death of the last spider I heard a Bell signifying a notification. But was disappointed since it's just the quest earlier. I thought I completed another hidden quest.

Clicked yes and opened my starter pack containing 5 high-quality Pokefood, seeds of every berry, farming space, and a cookbook about Pokeblock, puffins, and curry. then another screen popped up.

[Thier are 5 tiers with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest]

[You have to get certain requirements to get to the next tier]

[Every time you move to a higher tier you will be rewarded for your Accomplishment.]

'Bagon or Beldum. Both are strong but are hard to raise. Beldum only knows tackle or takedown with no egg moves and only gets better moves when it evolves but it has many resistances and has no major weakness while Bagon gets moves as it grows and has pretty amazing egg moves if it has any but has major a weakness to ice in its final form' I then thought of the pros and cons of selecting either pokemon and decided on

"Skorupi you are getting a teammate," I said to Skorupi. she just tilts her head in confusion which I found to be very cute.

I then selected the pokemon I had chosen and a Pokeball was then materialized in my hands. I then let the pokemon I chose out. What came out is a bipedal blue reptilian creature. It possesses a large, round snout, triangular eyes, yellow, circular ears similar to reptiles, and a yellow lower jaw with two teeth protruding upwards. Three thick, gray ridges cover the top of its head and continue downwards to cover its neck as well. There is a triangular patch of yellow on its underside. It has stubby, digit-less arms and short legs with two toes on each foot. The pokemon picked is Bagon.

Bagon was looking around its surroundings and its eyes landed on me and Skorupi. I then approached cautiously since I don't know how it will react.

"Hello bagon im your trainer and this is skorupi." I introduced myself and Skorupi to it.

"Gon Bagon" Bagon then approached me and started to rub its head on my legs. I then crouched down and patted its head. [Hosts you could look at your pokemon stats by focusing your eyes and saying or mentally observe. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧]

' This is convenient' I thought as I was staring at their stats. Both Bagon and Skorupi were chatting with each other. Then the system popped up again.

[Host you should take your things and go back to those people(･∀･). You can use the inventory function saying 'store' to store what you want and take out what you want by saying 'release'. So that you can leave and set up the shop٩(๑>∀<๑)۶.]

I then remembered what I was supposed to do and then gather some of my things and put them in my inventory while the remaining is put inside a sack made of wolf pelt.

" Bagon do you want to stay outside? or do you want to stay in the Pokeball?" I asked Bagon with his Pokeball in hand.

He then nod his head at the first question and shook his head at the second question.

I then carried him in my arms while Skorupi stayed on my shoulder. I then run back to the place where Sally and the others were waiting with the sack and my pokemon.

Third-person POV

Meanwhile

"John have you ever heard of the pokemon before?" asked Sally.

"No this is my first time hearing about it. But it may be just a different term for a familiar." Answered John.

"But only people with enough money can have them. Does that mean Hikari is rich?" Sally asked again.

"Don't forget you can get familiars by taming wild monsters. Most people rather buy than tame wild monsters since it saves time and most stores in the city sell rare and powerful Familiars that can use magic." Her brother Sam answered.

"Does that mean she tamed skorupi?" Asked Peter.

"Probably." Sam answered

They heard rustling and see Hikari running back sack in hand with Skorupi on her shoulder and another creature on her arm.

"Hey, guys! Sorry for keeping you guys waiting." Hikari said while panting

"Whos this cute little guy? Is it another pokemon of yours?" asked sally to Hikari

"Yes, this is Bagon. Bagon say hi"

"Gon"

"Alright everyone get on board so that we can reach the city before the sun is down." John called out to them.

They then immediately get on board and they set off to the city.
