Ch 06: Go to the mountain

We one our way to the pond area where we set up camp, after that grandpa told me to get his fishing rod out from the bag, and told me to come with him to fish.

He is now be called a veteran fisher who ever join a group of Fisherman in the town and set up a fishing club.

Usually he doesn't have anything to do in the town because there may or may not be a tide in 30 to 50 years So that defense become lax, that's why he has a time to go fishing with other old man's in the town and establish this.

" Listen Mike fishing is a very patient job and you have to have patient to sit still and do nothing and wait for the fishy to bite the baits," grandpa explain to me and also teach me how to do the baits and throw it out in the pond.

Even if it was a pond this is very big and some time we can see many water type Pokemon who swimming in the pond.

We then sit at the side and wait for the baits to go through and also get a sign for the string to move.

With my talent power I easily grasp the essential to get this done.

"Grandpa I seems to getting a movement in the water," after some time I finally got movements and the hanging threats getting tight by the time moment.

" Come on mike pull it harder you are very lucky to get anything in such a short time," grandpa hips up and told me as he is talking I finally got the pokemon out of the water and whos going to believe as it was a Magikarp.

I become frustrated for that as we are waiting for all the time I got it .

" Don't lose patient and it is not easy to caught any other Pokemon decide Magikarp as it is a common pokémon in the water about 80% of water pokémon."

I ask grandpa for a PokeBall as I promise myself to get which Pokemon I caught in my fast fishing as to memorie it for the future.

Even if it is a common pokémon like Magikarp but it's evolve from is one of the most dangerous looking pokémon in the waters.

Grandpa found it funny about my reason when I ask him for a ball but he still give it to me nothing else.

" Ivysaur use vain whip on the Magikarp,"with this the Magikarp faint and I throw the PokeBall at it and without and ding it got cought, even if I don't use move and directly throw the PokeBall at it it will still be cought but it is a tradition as to get a Pokemon you have to battle it to get it's recognization .

Why don't I do the same with Abra it's because it doesn't want to as it goes into the PokeBall right away.

After that time I and grandpa get more chance to catch some Pokemon but all was Magikarp so I don't cought any and we release them back in the water.

I can't help but feel that we getting the same magical that we cought when we are fishing in the water. Is it mocking us or what but looking at there dead fish eye we can't see any intelligence so I think it's because of is stupidity and also because of my bad luck that I getting those.

After that grandpa cook us some Tauros steaks as in this world there are some butchering house where eatable pokémon that come from the raids where send, and they butcher them, and preserve them to send out all over the league citys and town.

In every region there are this houses that have the permission to do this, but if normal person do this in the wild and get cought it become a serious crime to do this with regular pokemons and the punishment is very heavy, so people don't do this but mostly black market have this kind of market but the income is not high as the amount of Pokemon raids happened in every year in a region is well enough to feed everyone daily to meat.

So overtime this kind of deal in the black market become less and less popular and nowadays there can't be found in the black market, because living pokemon is 100 time more valuable than dead pokemon as only the butchering House will buy them.

Regular person don't have the technique to butcher pokémon so they only buy from the butchering house or the meat shop.

In the afternoon after our lunch I let my team some time of and have them relax a bit as my talent make my pokémon rank up super fast so there is no urgency to become strong and we first time relax and enjoy our time.

If I let them practice so much then the experience will pile up and when I leave them you rank up they will become very strong and we can't find trainers in our level to fight a very thrilling fight.

As I have some battle maniac tendency So when we can find a thrilling battle My fighting spirit will dwindle and hiding will become not interesting.

So that's why I make them practice less but we still practice 3 hours every day as not to get lazy.

If I become champion level before I become 12 then my current pokémon can fight in the competition because we will dominated there so I bless limiters in them to let them become powerful slowly as we progress so my fast pokémons can also participate in higher level and not stay home all the time because we can find similar level Pokemon or trainer.

I also introduce Magikarp to the team and also heal him and give the usual blessing to him too.

After that they play with each other and and me and grandpa play chess as I told him and I invent and made a Pokemon version of it for this world with some similar pokémon as to real game.

So when I introduce this game to my family it became very popular and often grandpa and Dad play it in the evening and mom and grandma also join some time.

It then became more in our town as grandpa also talked to silph corporation in short silph Co. About this game and they buy the making and rights from in and will give us 30% of the market share of this product and they will make and sell them.

It became a income for our family and also became a one of a kind game as there really don't have any kind of game in this world.

Back to the present as we play and get ready for the dinner grandpa told me about there is a mountain to the west side of the pond where we can see rock and ground type Pokemon.

After I heard that I seems to Heard that someone or something seems to telling me to go there.

When I get this signal I seem to know what is this it is the voice of the GOD who sent me in the world.

I can now know about where my pokémon that I buy from the GOD with money is.

So I heard that grandpa told me that mountain seems to be a rare rank zone and pokemon there's is more powerful than here , and I have to get grandpa took me there to find out where is my Pokemon will be .

" Grandpa, so are we going there tomorrow?" I ask hoping I can take him with me to go there.

" No, that area is very dangerous for you as u only have Ivysaur and he only rank up today," grandpa shake his head as seem to not have any idea to go there.

" But I want to go there, please! I don't seen many rock type Pokemon in our journey and my own journey will be abut 6 years later, so come on please! please! Take me there and promise to not go around fighting," I say with puppy eyes as he seems to not want to go there.

After some pleading and some act of about to cry look he say, " ok we can have a look but always have my Pokemon go with you and don't get separate."

"Ok !" I say while running to bed to get up early so we can have more time to search for the pokémon or the egg.

Early in the morning we have our camp pack up and ready to go to the mountain to search for.

Grandpa already have 2 of his pokémon out and ready to go there and I also have my 2 pokemon out only have Magikarp in his balls as he can't move around land very much.

It took abut 2 hours of walking to get here and we seen some Pokemon digging in the wild some Diglett and it's evolve from doing the digging as we go up the mountain.

We seen some other pokémon such as Geodude who look like a rock if you don't look closely or have psychic and aura to look apart.

I also seen Sandshrew who seen us and go back to ground but seeing those pokemon I ask, " Grandpa where are the rare rank you talking about I can only seem to see common and uncommon rank pokemon here."

" Well the pokémon here is divide into tribe so each type have there own tribe here and those per-evolve from here are like child of the tribes so they stay here we will see more powerful pokémon nearby." He said as we really encounters some Golem and Sandslash goin about dueling each other.

In the game Golems can evolve by trading but in here there is no such thing as trade evolution as some wild pokemon can't fully evolve like that as in the wild there is a common method where powerful wild pokémon help the pokemon evolve by transfer some elemental power in them by simply touching there back.

So the tribes form because of this method as same type or same species of Pokemon can help to evolve them easyer.

Other can help but the process is not very accurate and there is a chance pokémon won't evolve so professor oak invent a item called link cable which helps pokémon to transfer energy from other pokémon in the help of evolving.

After some time looking around I with my psychic powers find what I am looking for as in a very hiding corner of a rock there is an green egg who bland in with the somewhat grass around as to make it impossible to tall with naked eye and it also seems protected from other from of energy or power as it seems to be something around to protect it.

After I slowly go there to look around and it seems desolate from the rest of the world, I came and picked it up I seem to have some connection with he unborn Pokemon inside, like we are meant to be partners, I come and show this egg to Breloom and that make her surprise and she seems to looking around in panic think that the parents of the egg will be coming any second to defend the egg.

"Breee~" Breloom beginning to say most likely wanting me to leave the egg and quickly leave the area.

" I don't think it's parent is around Breloom, l look around with my power , and there seem to be nothing in this area," I say Breloom to come it down and told it to look around. After she come down and look at the desolate place and seems to understand my claim so we go to find grandpa.
