Chapter 9

As Jack approached the unconscious Zeraora, with his pokeball pointed towards it, he heard someone say "Not so fast, you freak"

Jack then felt some water droplets fall on his face. He turned to his right and found a water shuriken spinning towards him.

He tried to move away from it, but was too late. The shuriken hit the corner of his hand and the speed of its rotation tore off a chunk of meat from his biceps.

Jack cried out in pain as he held his arm, looking around to find the mf who attacked him.

Then a teenager with brown hair, blue jacket and brown pants walked out from between two big apartments.

Jack glared at him while still holding his hand. "You can't catch him. I Hilbert, have been chasing after it from three days. So, I am going to be the one who catches it.

You are also coming with me, a Pokemon that looks like a human. I don't think you are using illusion as it would have faded after attacking you. Soz you are also coming with me." and started walking towards Jack.

Jack could already tell that he was a copy kid as he just announced his name to him. That meant that he was completely sure that he could defeat them.

Hilbert walked towards Jack, with his Greninja walking beside him. Greninja had two water shuriken ready in both hands.

Jack had exhausted all the PP of both his Psychic and shadow ball. He wasn't in a position to use shadow claw.

He opened his mouth and orange light started gathering in front of his mouth. Both Greninja and Hilbert recognised the move and Greninja immediately threw both the shuriken towards Jack as it rushed towards Jack.

Litten, who was watching everything from the sidelines, jumped in between the attack to protect Jack.

Litten took one shuriken while the other one headed towards Jack.

He looked at it from the corner of his eyes and didn't stop charging as he was close. Immediately when he finished charging, he released the beam, which was way larger than the usual Hyper Beam.

As he released the beam, the shuriken hit Jack in his abdomen and made a huge cut. Jack only got a cut, while Hilbert and his Greninja weren't so lucky.

Both were close to Jack and they took the beam head on. Since the show was child friendly, they didn't show the reality, but Jack's hyper beam, which was stronger than the usual ones, sent both Greninja and Hilbert flying till they hit a wall and the beam caused an explosion.

Jack had lost a lot of blood and the pain that came along with it was unbearable. Slowly, he felt his body become weak as his legs wobbled.

He then collapsed and looked at the sky with a blurred vision. He couldn't even tell what was happening around him, but he did see the figure of a woman with Balck hair before he completely lost consciousness.

The woman with black hair looked at Jack. She had black hair till her cheeks and wore a black tshirt with brown shorts. She had a unique ankle accessory on her right leg, which is her key stone.

Beside her was a woman with pink long hair with red shaded sunglasses, which she wore even at the time of sunset. She is Malva, whom Jack met earlier the same day.

She looked at Jack's state and said "Zinnia, Are you sure he is going to survive? Is he even the right person you are looking for?"

The woman with short black hair named Zinnia replied "Yes, he is the person who is the organisation's main focus. So, he should know something that can be useful for us. As for his survival, after seeing the freaks in that laboratory, I don't think he would die."

Zinnia then looked at the two pokeballs in Jack's pocket and used them on Zeraora and Litten. She handed them to Malva and said "You take them to the Pokemon center and get them all patched up while I take him to our room and treat his wounds."

Malva nodded and took the two pokeballs from her hand while Zinnia brought out her Salamance and placed him on it, jumping upon it.

Salamance lifted off towards their room while Malva looked at the destruction Jack caused with his Hyper Beam, before shaking her head and running towards the Pokemon center.

Zinnia treated Jack's wounds and was sitting beside his bed as she looked at him. She sighed and looked at the ankle key stone.

"I will definitely fulfill my promise and return back with our guardian." she murmured as she noticed Jack move.

She looked at him while he slowly opened his eyes. When Jack looked at Zinnia, he immediately got up, before gripping his wounds and shouting.

Zinnia said "Don't get scared. I won't hurt you. Now rest so that you can heal."

Jack trusted her when he saw his dressed wounds. If she wanted to harm him, he would be dead before he could even realise.

So he laid down on the bed, with his pain filled face. Zinnia pointed to a broken phone and said "Your phone was ringing, but it isn't in a condition to pick the call."

Jack could tell that it was either his mom or his lovers who were worried. So, he borrowed Zinnia's phone and called his mom, who didn't pick the call.

He could tell that something was wrong, as Juniper always answered her calls. He then dailed to Courtney, who also didn't answer the phone.

He then called Viola, whose number only he had. So, she picked the call and answered it. She asked "Hello, is this master Jack?" and Jack replied "Yes"

When he said that, he could hear someone run towards the phone. He then heard Courtney's voice as she asked "Jack, what the hell. Where are you and what were you doing all this time?"

Jack said "I was caught up in an incident. Is everything alright? Why didn't you or mom answer the phone?"

Courtney became silent all of a sudden and then she said "Master Juniper has been kidnapped."

Jack immediately got up and asked in a panicked tone "Courtney, what are you saying?"

"Sorry master Jack, I wasn't able to protect her." Courtney said and started tearing up.

Viola took back the phone and explained "Master Jack, we finished our shopping and were heading towards our hotel when we stumbled upon dance party in the beach. Since master Juniper wasn't interested in them, she decided to head back to the hotel.

Both me and Robin insisted on following her but she refused. When we returned back two hours ago, I went to her room to check on her and noticed that the door was open. When I entered, I only found a letter on the table." and sent the photo of the letter to Jack.

It read "Don't worry about Professor Juniper. We will take good care of her. So, don't go searching for her of you really care about her."

Jack literally crushed the phone in anger and shouted out in rage. Zinnia was sad about the condition of her phone. She left the room and waited outside.

After two hours, Malva returned with his Pokemon and noticed Zinnia waiting outside their room.

As she got closer, she heard Jack's screams and ran towards the door, intending to open it. Zinnia stopped her. Malva asked "He looks like he is in a lot of pain. We have to take him to the hospital."

Zinnia shook her head and said "No, it isn't due to pain. It is due to the frustration."

And Zinnia was right. Jack, when he was born, was born into a rich family. He got a system which could make his life easy. Even after his father kidnapping him, he didn't fear his life as he thought he had it all under control when he started becoming stronger everyday.

It was only now that reality struck him. He was badly injured, with his strength completely useless and his mom was kidnapped by someone.

For the first time after being born in that world, he felt weak and didn't know what to do.

Jack's screams continued for one more hour before he calmed down. Zinnia and Malva then entered the room and looked at Jack, who was using a Portion on himself. They also worked on him as he was registered as a Pokemon by his system.

He couldn't use them before in the battle, as he didn't have a chance to do so.

Jack borrowed Malva's phone and asked Courtney to come to that room. He then turned to Zinnia and Malva, and asked "Now, who are you? I had a pretty rough day, so I don't want any lies."

Zinnia then introduced herself "I am Zinnia, the Lorekeeper of Draconid. We are the guardians of the Hoenn region and the people who built the Sky Pillar."

Before she continued, Jack stopped her and said "I know about Draconid and how they called Rayquaza to stop Groudon and Kyogre. You can skip that thrash."

Zinnia was offended when he called their great work as thrash. She wanted to beat up Jack, but Malva stopped her as she knew that Jack was not in a good mood to be polite.

Zinnia then continued explaining with an annoyed face "One month back, we noticed some battles in the sky and checked it out, o lynto find our guardian Rayquaza fighting with three huge Pokemon.

We tried our best to stop them, but we were powerless against them. We couldn't do anything as we saw our guardian being captured right in front of our eyes.

I noticed the symbol of Team Rocket on one of those criminals. So, I joined their organisation to free Rayquaza and that brought me here to Alola. They are doing some experiments here and they concluded that this was a good place to do so.

As for spying on you, that was because you were the top priority among the group of people who were to be brought back safely when found. Since your mom was also on the list, I assume that she was also kidnapped by them."

Jack then asked "Since you were spying on me, you should have known about me from my fight. Don't you find that weird?"

Zinnia replied "I have seen many hybrids in Team Rocket and how they are made. So, why would I be surprised."

Jack was shocked when he heard that. He and Courtney had made sure to burn down both Lance and Ariana's bodies before they left the facility and Burnet wouldn't betray him.

He couldn't think of any other possibilities. And since Zinnia mentioned Team Rocket, he said in his head "Lusamine should also be involved in this. Since they choose this place, it could be about the wormholes. Then, why are they going after legendary Pokemon like Rayquaza.

Also, listening to her description, the three Pokemon that battled Rayquaza should be Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. How are they getting their hands on these Pokemon that command space, time and darkness?"

As he kept thinking, Courtney and Burnet arrived. Courtney jumped into Jack's arms and started crying. The others also were crying.

After they calmed down, he explained them the situation while explaining Zinnia about his father and his experiment.

Jack then said "Now, first of all, we know that there are a lot of hybrids in Alola and they are doing something.

Second, They have mom working on something and they need her. So, as long as we make them believe that she wouldn't be a risk to them, she is safe. So, I have to go on the island trials and make th believe that I am not a big threat to them currently.

Third, I need you all to act as if nothing has happened. We need to keep building up our power without their knowledge. For this, we need a spacious and secluded place where we can't be monitored.

And lastly, we need to completely learn as to why this place is a preferable location for their dirty business." preparing a plan.

All his lovers nodded and Jack then turned to Malva and Zinnia. He said "Malva, you will have to stay with us, as we need you to train the rest. As for you Zinnia, I need you to get higer in the ranks and find out who is your boss and the people who are around him." and she nodded.
