The Devil Worshippers

"Students, now that we have covered the basics, it's time to share information that is not publicly known," Principal Michael Adams stated with a serious tone.

"You are all aware of the devils that invaded our world 100 years ago," he continued, and the students nodded in acknowledgment. "Thanks to the emergence of the Tower, we were able to fight back against those devils. However, you might wonder why, despite the power granted by the Tower, we still hear about incidents of deaths caused by the devils even today."

"These incidents are not directly caused by the devils themselves but rather indirectly. To counterattack the Tower, the devils began influencing the minds of humans, leading some unsuccessful awakeners to join their ranks, becoming what we call 'Devil Worshippers.' The devils grant them power, and their sole purpose is to cause harm. They believe that joining the devils will ensure their survival ."

Principal Adams warned, "Devil Worshippers appear like ordinary people, making it difficult to identify them. Only when they use their devil transformation ability can one recognize their true nature. They prey on ordinary people and, more significantly, on newly awakened individuals. Killing awakeners gives them more power, and the stronger the awakener, the more power they gain."

He stressed the importance of keeping their awakened talents a secret. "You must not reveal your awakened talent to anyone. There was a tragic incident in City B when a boy disclosed that he had an A-grade talent: Lightning Force. This revelation resulted in the invasion of the entire city by Devil Worshippers, who mercilessly killed everyone, including the boy and his family. This incident shocked everyone, as many influential figures in the city were revealed to be Devil Worshippers, including the mayor's secretary."

Principal Adams concluded, "The world we live in is still fraught with danger, and we must remain vigilant. The Tower is a source of power, but it also attracts threats. Be cautious and remember that unity and secrecy are our greatest allies against the forces of darkness."

After a brief silence ,

The principal continued, "As new awakeners, you will be taken to a special facility for a year until you appear for the university examination. During this time, your parents will be informed about your awakening, and they will be told that you will be taken to a secret location for training and development."

He explained that the facility was designed to nurture and guide the new awakeners, helping them understand and harness their newfound abilities effectively. "In this facility, you will receive specialized training to hone your talents and skills. The goal is to equip you with the necessary knowledge and experience to become powerful Tower Runners."
