Moon Town's Problem

The Video seemed to clear all doubts, Sludge Bomb was indeed a powerful Technique. The Nidoqueen in the video had performed the powerful move by harnessing the flow of Poison energy in her body and expelling it as a purple sludge barrage, It had high chances of poisoning the target.

Nidorino would have to learn to channel and gather Poison energy through it's entire body as the first step to mastering such a technique.

Red settled back onto the tree as Nidorino went away, Their brief break giving him a moment to map their route. They weren't too far out from Moon Town… And then he felt a little weight on his neck, Dratini had wrapped itself around Red's neck getting herself comfortable.

Red smiled and patted the head of the small Dragon Pokemon.

Moon Town was a small town close to Mount Moon. It was a place where trainers could gather their resources for the hike ahead, One could also ask for hiking guidance since the hikers here were experienced.

Red had learned quite a lot about the Pokemon world which he lived in now and he knew it wasn't all play like it was in the anime.

There were League guards positioned on the outside of Mount Moon, determined to protect the people against the wild Pokemon that roamed in Mount Moon. They were also known to survey the trainers that entered Mount Moon and send their names to the guards standing at the other end of Mount Moon to make sure that trainers make it to the other side.

And even with these League guards in check, 30-35% of new trainers still die in the confines of Mount Moon. To make it safe, Red decided to hit Mount Moon the next morning as well as explore a lot on Brock's manual, he had barely opened the manal at all since he had the girls to watch over.

The main buildings in Moon Town were a small spa, a Library and a honest to Arceus brothel. Along with the Pokemon Center and the Pokemon Mart as well but they were constants to every big town in the Pokemon world.

'Might visit there,' Red thought, 'For the drinks though,'

Sure he had a habit of visiting the Brothels for the girls but… He had Laura and Yellow here…

'Speaking of which, I should get to calling Laura and informing her of where I am. I can't believe the other Red didn't call her,' Red thought with a sigh, mentally preparing himself for an argument.

"Finally," Hannah said, "We're here,"

They were standing outside the Pokemon center and Red wiped off the sweat from his face, The heat was literally killing him.

Sure, He was standing near a Mountain with little to no vegetation in the surrounding area… But still, There ought to be a little cold in a town.

Red pushed open the doors of the Pokemon Center and entered.

There were little trainers in the lobby. Some standing next to the large fans situated in the area, but Red noticed they were battery fans.

Holding Hannah and his bag tightly, He made his way to the counter with his group. He had to admit though, Nurse Joy in this world was banging hot… He might consider trying to conquer one himself.

Nurse Joy gave a little bow.

"Welcome to the Moon Town Pokemon Center," Nurse Joy said, "I'm sorry but we currently cannot heal Pokemon,"

Red gave her a questioning gaze, What kind of Pokemon Center doesn't heal Pokemon?

"You see, The entire town doesn't have Electricity. Apparently, The little power plant we have near the lake has cut off the town's electricity, Because we refuse to pay the monthly bill," Nurse Joy said, "Our healing machines at this point have run down and we can't contact the League, The Network has also been cut off. The League guards stationed here are also in cahoots with the thieves,"

Red furrowed his brows.

"The Pokemon Center is a very important piece to every Pokemon Trainer, Many trainers participate in many battles on their way to the Pokemon Center here to prepare themselves for Mount Moon," Red said, "And the Pokemon Center isn't able to heal Pokemon?"

Nurse Joy shuddered, knowing the trueness of Red's words but Red didn't shout like other trainers, He was mature.

"When did the charges start?" Red asked, "After all, This is a certified League building and therefore Pokemon Centers are not supposed to be charged for Electricity, That's crap,"

"The charges started early this year," Nurse Joy replied curtly, "The Power plant cut off our light as well as our network and told us to pay for it, I of course paid the prior months but I can't pay for this month…"

Red gave her an encouraging smile.

'Come on, This is just theft. It's a small town so it doesn't operate on the large network towers like the other cities but rather a small network tower that is very close to the Power Plant. Threatening Nurse Joy to not call the League is nothing more than theft at this point and the League guards are also agreeing to this,' Red thought, 'Such are humans,'

'Well I'm going to help her,' Red finalized, reaching for his Pokedex and checking the network bar. She had been telling the truth, The network here was cut off… He could go back to the route but contacting the League would more or less be a waste of time, They might as well send more corrupt officers here which meant only one last final solution… Dealing with it himself.

Red looked at Nurse Joy who looked at him, hope in her beautiful eyes.

"I'll help," Red said with a sigh, "No way I could leave a beautiful woman hanging,"

Nurse Joy lowered her head and blushed while Olivia looked over to Red, He was… flirting?

"Anyway, We want two rooms," Red said, reaching for his wallet but Joy stopped him.

"It's on the house," She said and gave him two room keys, Room #100 and Room #101 were free, "Thanks,"

Red nodded and handed over one of the keys to Yellow.

"Let's go," Red said.
