"Scyther dodge and use Metal Claw." Ethen commanded its scyther to use Metal claw against his father's Scizor, Scyther narrowly dodged Air Slash move used by Scizor and focused his Steel element energy to channel it through his scythes which turned sharp silver color which were able to reflect Sunlight. Scyther moved with a fast speed towards Scizor and slashed him with both scythes, Scizor was easily able to dodge the attack and moved to left.

"Scyther, keep following scizor and keep attacking with Metal Claw." Commanded Ethen.

Scyther also turned left in the direction where Scizor went and kept using Metal Claw (More precisely Metal scythes) but after slashing for only around 7 times silver light covering scythes of Scyther deemed by half and after 8th Slash there wasn't any silver light on Scyther's Scythe.

"Scyther that's enough return." Ethen commanded and Scyther returned to where Ethen was standing. "Its really great that only in 1 day you improved Metal claw move from 6 Slashes to 8, if we keep on training then you will be able to channel your Steel Element energy properly and we can also start practicing Steel wing move." Said Ethen while praising Scyther.

Ethen and Scyther were training this move since last 1 week and it can be considered to be at Beginner Level now, Ethen was happy with the progress because he still had 10 days left to train before he leaves for Pokemon University.

Yes, Ethen got his promotion letter 4 days back along with his return ticket. He also got messages from his friends saying that they also got their promotion letter. Max informed Ethen that his Ralts finally evolved to Kirlia and was now at Mid Elite Level with 5 Moves at Expert level.

After hearing the news Ethen got little depressed because his Scyther was still at Early Elite level with only 3 Expert level moves, and his Nidoran who was still at Beginner Level with its two moves Poison Sting and Horn Attack at intermediate level but good thing was that Nidoran learned new move Double Kick which was a good thing.

Hence the tough practice session because Ethen wanted his Scyther to learn Metal Claw to Intermediate Level so he can fight against Kirlia who is weak against Steel type attacks and poison type attacks (Yes, Fairy Types were already found in the era Ethen was living).

Along with training session Ethen also planned to go to Mount Moon with his father tomorrow to train his pokemon by fighting against wild pokemon and to see if he can find any good pokemon which can be added to rooster before he leaves for university.

After a short break Ethen again started training Scyther with Metal Claw, his Nidoran was practicing double kick move against a training target made by William.

After around 4 hours, Ethen was sitting on ground and his Scyther was lying on ground because it was too exhausted by the training today, but his training paid off as he was finally able to keep channeling his Steel Energy though his scythes for around 12 Moves, it was a great result and both Ethen and Scyther were happy with this result. It was already past 6 in evening, so after taking a break for 30 minutes Ethen recalled his pokemon in their pokeballs and walked back towards his house.

"Tomorrow we will be leaving at around 7 in morning and we will camp in Mount Moon for 8 days and will return just two day before you leave for Pokemon University." Informed William to Ethen on dining table.

"Can you two keep silence while eating." Amelia gave a threatening glare to William and Ethen who both immediately kept their mouth shut and started eating quietly.

Next day Early Morning:

Ethen and William were ready to leave, Mount Moon wasn't far from Mulberry City, it was only around 50 Km from there and they can reach by walk in just around 5-6 hours. So it means by the time they will reach there it will be lunch time.

On the way Ethen saw many weak pokemon like Ratatta, Pidgey, spearrow, Ekans etc. which were easily defeated by Nidoran, Ethen wasn't interested in these pokemon unless his father told him that any of these was either silver or gold potential pokemon.

After walking for around 5 hours they finally reached near a rocky road which was the way to reach entrance of Mount Moon, there was also another path going towards a forest, trainers can also take this road to reach Cerulean City as weak trainers below Elite Rank were not allowed to enter 2nd Floor of Mount Moon as it has many powerful pokemon and you are not allowed to enter 3rd floor if you are not at atleast Pseudo King Level.

Ethan's father was a Early Pseudo King level trainer and was allowed to enter 3rd floor but still as Ethen was there with him so he planned to stay only at first floor of Mountain.

On first floor you can find, Zubat, Pidgey, Geodude, Paras, Clefairy (Rare), Sandshrew, Gravellar and Onix (if you are lucky or shall I say unlucky if you are a weak trainer).

William and Ethen decided to have lunch before entering Mountain. They finished eating lunch and started trekking towards Mount Moon. after entering Mountain they decided to prepare a camp when the reached more farther inside the mountain.

In mountain pokemon usually attacked in groups, smaller groups (Containing max upto 5-6 pokemon) were easily handled by Ethen's pokemon but if any larger group attacked them then Williams Scizor handled those who couldn't be handled by Scyther and Nidoran.

After walking for 1 hour they found a good spot near a water source and William started preparing their Camp. Meanwhile Ethen was keeping watch over wild pokemons.

*Ral...* *ssshhhh..* suddenly Ethen heard two sounds out of which first one was weak and it seemed that first one was running and other was following. After each passing seconds, sound was getting closer and closer.

"Dad, did you hear that." Said Ethen without looking back.

"Yes, I did. Get behind me." Replied William who was already standing beside him and he had called out his Steelix and Pidgeot. Ethen obediently walked few steps back and saw Scizor was standing beside him in ready to fight stance.

After only around 10 minutes, Ethen could see a small blue pokemon, which seemed to had a black mask on its eyes running towards him, which was followed by a large purple snake. Ethen didn't know about first pokemon but he knew the second pokemon which was an Arbok.

After watching, huge Steelix that small pokemon got frightened and fell down on ground, whereas Arbok stopped on its track and looked vigilantly towards Steelix and William.

"Dad." Called Ethen.

"Stay behind." Replied William with a commanding tone.

"But, that small pokemon." Said Ethen with a very small sound, afraid to make his father angry.

But William who heard his son also looked towards that small pokemon, even if Ethen didn't know about this pokemon, William knew which species it was, it was Riolu, but this pokemon was only found in Sinnoh region which was far from Kanto and a small pokemon like Riolu cannot travel that far. The only possibility William could think about was Pokemon Poachers.

Pokemon Poachers were trainers or more precisely thieves who steal or catch rare pokemon in wild from other regions to sell in Black Market, though league was aware of their existence they didn't interfere unless these poachers tried to steal from a Trainer (Large number of trainers as league keeps one eye close if only a small number of weak trainers get their pokemon stolen).

There was a big organization which controlled underworld in five regions, which was named Team Rocket, but league didn't interfere in their work too as they never try to harm trainers (more precisely trainers above Intermediate Level which were recognized by league). There were other organizations too in other region which compete with Team Rocket, like Kanto has another organization named Team Hunters which is group of Pokemon Poachers, Black Market in Kanto region has equal share of both organization.

"Arbok did you catch that little mouse ?" Suddenly William heard a sound from other side of the mountain, and saw a bald man coming with a Aggron on his side, he wore a uniform which had symbol of Team Hunter on that.

When that man reached near Arbok he saw William standing in the Opposite with a Steelix and Pidgeot on his both sides and a scizor standing beside a kid who had a Scyther and Nidoran behind him.

William got ready at battle stance, because League can keep a close eyes against Pokemon Poachers but if a poacher try to smuggle pokemon infront of them then they need to take action or it will cause a bad effect on citizen if found.

"Pidgeot bring that Riolu here and Steelix keep watching opposite team's movements and if that trainer dare to attack then destroy both his pokemon." Commanded William.

The other trainer who can feel powerful Aura from pokemons on other side was afraid but still as he will loose alot if he couldn't take back this pokemon along, he tried to threaten William, "You know if you fight against me then my organization will hunt you till you die."

"Nah they won't, I am William Smith, Gym Leader of Mulberry City, I guess your organization wouldn't take a risk for just a low ranked member like you." Replied William and ignored him like he doesn't exist, he sat down to check vital signs of Riolu and when he was sure that Riolu wasn't in any danger, then he stood up and looked back at the trainer on other side.

Bald man was well aware that whatever William just said wasn't wrong, even if he died here, his organization will never try to question William because that will provoke league and it can cause destruction of whole organization.

"I am sorry Sir, I was ignorant and dared to threaten you. I mean no harm, if you let me leave this time then I assure you I won't repeat these mistakes again." Said Bald Man while slightly bowing.

Though William knew that except his apology everything else he said was a lie, still it isn't good to interfere in matters of an organization as they won't be able to find any clue even from this trainer, so he just waved his hands as signal for that bald man to leave.

Bald man who was relived to see this hurriedly left with his pokemon. Now William picked up Riolu and put him in bed in the newly prepared Tent.

"Dad, what pokemon is this and is it alright." Asked Ethen while looking at Riolu.

"This pokemon is called Riolu, its not from Kanto but Sinnoh region, and as I can see its a newly born pokemon and may be around 15-20 days old, its fine just exhausted from all running." William calmly replied to his son and after that returned back to finish preparing their camp area.

Ethen curiously looked towards Riolu once more and then returned back to help his father.
