PSM-13

Pidgeot landed on the ground near port, William jumped down and helped Ethen to come down from Pidgeot.

"We finally reached." Said William after recalling Pidgeot back to pokeball.

"Yes." Replied Ethen while looking towards crowd near port, he was also excited to start his second year.

Ethen walked towards Port followed by William. After walking for a while they reached near the spot where students were standing in three rows. Ethen looked around but couldn't find his friends, so he just bid farewell to William and joined one of the three rows.

It didn't take long for Ethen's turn, he followed instruction of the trainer and after completing checking process he boarded Ship. After looking around for a while he finally found his cabin and entered, he planned to go out and look for his friends in canteen area at dinner time.

Ship departed from Vermilion port at its Scheduled time, Ethen who was sitting on his bed with Riolu lying on his lap was going through booklet again provided by University, though Ethen was ok with any pokemon he got but still he was hoping if he could get a Pseudo Legendary pokemon and more importantly out of dragon types only as Pseudo Legendary were hard to find but dragon type were harder to find compare to other Pseudo Legendries.

By the time he finished feeding his pokemon their dinner, it was time for dinner for the passengers as well. So Ethen recalled back his pokemon to pokeball except Riolu and walked towards Canteen Area, he was hoping to find his friends there so he can talk with them about what new things they got and their expectation about new pokemon.

Ethen entered Canteen area but couldn't find his friends there, Canteen area was too large and there were people on almost every table, so it was hard to see someone within the crowd but still Ethen looked carefully to see if can find any familiar faces.

"ETHEN." Suddenly Ethen heard someone calling his name and he turned towards source of sound to see who it was, and he saw a kid with specs and Oxford blue hair waving towards him, there were two girls and one other boy with him as well and he also saw one small bipedal pokemon which looked like rosebud, it was green in color with yellow face and slit like eyes.

Ethen was delighted to see that kid because it was Max and with him were Shauna, Janina and Tommy, Ethen quickly walked towards them, followed by his Riolu.

"Max, nice to see you all again." Said Ethen excitedly.

"Yes nice to see you too, we were just talking about you and Janina said you must be sleeping like Snorlax and missed this Ship." Said Max while punching on Ethen's Shoulder.

"Hey, I didn't say that." Retorted Janina, there were tears in her eyes like she was trying to prove her innocence with her face.

"Hah, I know you didn't, only Max can say such stupid things." Said Ethen to comfort Janina who was almost crying, this line brought a smile on Janina's face.

"Great finally you also accepted that this guy is stupid." Taunted Shauna from one side.

"Whom are you calling stupid." Max retorted and looked angrily towards Shauna.

"Obviously to you idiot." Shauna said with a smirk.

Before they could continue their bickering, Ethen changed the topic quickly, "By the Max, which is this pokemon." Ethen said looking curiously at pokemon standing beside Max.

"Oh, this pokemon, its my team's new member Budew, I found her when I was travelling with my sister." Replied Max excitedly while picking up his Budew and showing it to Max.

*Bu..Dew* (◠‿◠), Budew nodded to greet Ethen.

"Oh, by the Ethen, how you got a Riolu ? They are from Sinnoh right ?" Asked Max while looking curiously towards Riolu who was also looking towards Ethen's friends curiously.

"Its a long story, but in short me and my father saved her and she joined my team." Replied Ethen while patting head of Riolu gently.

"Ri..Ri..lu" (｡◕‿‿◕｡) Riolu greeted with big smile on her face, after staying for 1 week with Ethen, she finally started trusting people trusted by Ethen.

Shauna and Janina were so happy to see Riolu's cute face and they took her away from Ethen and started talking to her, Budew also jumped from Max's hands and walked towards group of girls, she was also gladly accepted by girls.

Ethen gave a glance towards them and then looked back at Max and Tommy then asked tommy, "So how were you these days ?"

"I was great, my brother took me to Hoenn region as he had some work there, and I found new member for my team too." Replied Tommy with a smile and called out his new member, it was a quadruple pokemon whose body looked like covered by grey armor, there were few openings on its body too and was a spike on its back. Ethen didn't know about this pokemon too.

"Wo you caught an Aron, its such a great pokemon." Said Max and sat down to pat on Aron's head.

'So this pokemon is called Aron, looks like I need to learn about pokemon from other regions too or I won't be able to know which pokemon it is.' Ethen didn't knew much about which pokemon were found in other regions except some famous pokemon (Royal pokemon of each region).

"Great, so you finally added another member to your rooster, It will be great to train together with more pokemons." said Ethen and looked towards girls to know if they got any new pokemon.

Shauna looked up and saw Ethen looking towards them and said, "Yeah we both got one-one pokemon each but we won't show here. Wait for surprise on training ground." And she gave triumphant smile, Ethen just gave a stiff smile for this as he didn't know what to say now.

After they finished their dinner, everyone returned back to Ethen's room and talked alot about other things they did in last two months and from them Ethen come to know that almost all of them trained in wild for atleast 15 days with their mentors and they have improved their pokemon alot. Tommy's pokemon also evolved and it was a Graveler now. Others also improved their pokemon but no one was able to evolve their pokemon except Max other than Tommy.

After 11 everyone returned to their room to take a good sleep so they will be ready for next day at University.
