Wally
As Yuki and Haruka make it to petalburg city with their pokemon they see the gym leader of the petalburg, Norman outside talking to a trainer that he just defeated. "Oh hey, that's my dad" Yuki said, exploring around Petalburg city, with Haruka. Pointing to his dad talking to the trainer.
"Oh cool, He just moved in a few weeks and a lot of trainers are saying that he's really skilled" Haruka said, looking at Yuki. "That's kinda cool" Yuki nervously laughs "Yeah, he can be intense. Especially, when it comes to school in stuff" Haruka nodded. "Let's go say hi!" She runs to him and Yuki followed her "Wait up!"
Norman, sees them and smiles. "Oh Yuki, you guys finally moved" Yuki nodded and gave his father a hug, He looked over at Haruka. "Why hello!" Haruka nodded "Hey!" She said smiling. "Is she you're little girlfriend?" Norman asked, teasingly.
"No! She's just a friend of mine" Yuki blushed in embarrassment. "I just met her" Haruka chuckled. "Yeah, we were just walking around with our Pokémon" Yuki nodded, Norman raised a brow, interested "You're becoming a trainer and you just moved here?" He smiled a bit, He was happy his son was becoming a trainer like him. "That's the hustle son, that's what i like to see" He pat his head softly as they went inside the gym and continued talking until a boy with green hair came in. "Hey Wally!"He said smiling as He replied, nervous. "U-uh hello mr. Norman, y-you t-told me you were g-gonna t-teach me how to catch a pokemon.." Wally was fidgeting with his fingers. "Here's a Pokémon for ya" He throws it at Wally and he catches. "I won't be able to help ya but, these little guys can" He said, softly patting Yuki and Haruka's head. Wally nodded "o-oh okay"
They both go out in a route nearby Petalburg city. They were teaching him how to catch the Pokémon. "Oh okay got it!" Wally said going deeper in the tall grass while Yuki and Haruka follow him. A ralts comes out of nowhere and Wally sends out a zigzagoon to fight the Pokémon. Yuki scans the pokemon Wally sent out with his pokedex and it was revealed to be a zigzagoon. "Okay, so the moves this zigzagoon has is Tackle and growl" He says explaining to Wally. "O-Ok! Zigzagoon use Tackle!" The Zigzagoon tackles the ralts. The ralts was weakened, breathing heavily. "Ok, now that it's weakened throw a pokeball at it!" Haruka told Wally. He did so and caught the ralts with ease. He smiled happily and had his hand on his head "Woah I-I can't believe I actually did it" Yuki smiled softly "Congratulations man!" Haruka nodded "You did really good" Wally wasn't used to this praise and couldn't help but, smile. "Thank you, oh i didn't catch your names" Yuki nervously smiled "That's right..I'm Yuki" Haruka did a thumbs up "I'm Haruka!" Wally smiled "you guys have nice names...can we be rivals?" Yuki nodded "Yeah, I'll make sure that I'm stronger than you!" He said playfully. Haruka grinned at him and crossed her arms "I'll make sure that I'm stronger than all of you" Wally looked up at them and he looked determined "I'll try my best!" They all nodded. Yuki and Haruka go out to petalburg woods while Wally goes on his Pokémon journey with his dad.
