After laying on the grass for a few minutes Ash stood up and entered the house making his way towards his Mother's room who was already waiting for him.

"Are you done sorting everything out?" Delia asked while sitting on a sofa.

Ash nodded his head and sat on the sofa in front of his mother, "So what do you want to tell me, Mom? you should know that I am not interested in hearing stories about my father."

Delia sighed, she then looked outside the window and said, "Just behave and listen to my story, you can ask any questions after I'm done, okay?"

"Okay," Ash replied.

"Your father isn't just a pokemon trainer, he holds a high position in the pokemon league and he is called a 'Pokemon Guardian'."

"The main job of a guardian is to guard and defend pokemons mainly those legendary pokemon that have immense power, being guardian doesn't make you stay away from your family but something happened 15 years ago that left your father to leave along with your grandfather who was also a pokemon guardian."

'15 years ago? I'm still 3 years old that time.' Ash thought as he continued listening to his mother.'

"You see, like every pokemon trainer they will have their own rival that they strive to beat every time. your father also has a rival and his name is Blue Oak the father of Gary Oak and the son of Professor Oak."

Delia smiled when she remembered how her husband and Blue kept on arguing in the past about who's son will be the strongest pokemon trainer in the future.

"Blue similar to your father was also a pokemon guardian but one day when he was tasked to check up on Giratina something unexpected happen and he was trapped inside the distortion world which was the home of Giratina."

"When your father found out that Blue was trapped he immediately went out to save him but as soon as he arrives at the distortion world he saw that his good friend and rival Blue wasn't the same anymore and was now being controlled by Giratina.

When the story reached here Delia could only smile wearily.

"Seeing that his friend was controlled your father did everything to free Blue but all of his efforts were futile, the pokemon league then decide that the distortion world was now a danger zone and there should be 2 pokemon guardians that needs to stand guard at all times to prevent something bad from happening."

"Your father unhesitantly took one spot while your grandfather took the other, the both of them are now guarding the distortion world along with two other legendary pokemon Dialga and Palkia."

After finishing her story, she looked at Ash who had a thoughtful look on his face.

"So do you have any questions?" Delia asked.

Ash who was deep in thought looked at his mother and said with a mocking smile on his face, "So from what I understand is that father went his way to guard the distortion world for 15 years without coming back just so that he could save his friend, well if he isn't gay then I don't know what to describe him anymore."

Hearing Ash calling his father gay, Delia was tongue-tied and didn't know what to reply because she was also aggrieved when her husband chose to guard his friend instead of staying with his family.

But being the good wife she was, Delia defended her husband and explained, "It's not like that, Ash. your father also wants to defend everyone from a calamity and being one of the strongest guardians it is his duty to stand guard on a danger zone."

Ash rolled his eyes and said, "And you still defend him. *sigh* I know that he has to defend the distortion but can't he swap position with another guardian so that he could take a quick break and be with his family?"

Shaking his head he then stood up and said when he reached the door, "I may not be a guardian or is qualified to interfere with their job but I will do my best to help them stabilize the distortion world and help Blue so that stupid father of mine can return home, he already left you for 15 years so it is only fitting for him to retire and stay with you for the rest of his goddamn life, Mom."

Staring at the back of her son, Delia smiled warmly and thought 'He really is your son, to have such domineering attitude like that he surely got it from you."

Ash stepped out of the house and stared at the blue sky, his initial plan was to relax after the tournament but knowing about his father's story, Ash decided to storm his way to the distortion world so that his aggrieved mother can finally be reunited with her stupid gay husband.
