"Who's footage are you checking out?" Tobias asked Alan who was currently staring at the monitor screen in his office.
Alan continued watching the pokemon battle and smiled, he then turned his attention at Tobias and said, "I'm watching one of the favorites to win the Lily of the Valley Conference."
Tobias was intrigued by hearing Alan favoring a trainer and went to see who that trainer was.
"Oh? Isn't that Ash? I remember him because he is the only one who defeated my Darkrai and Latios during the time I competed for the pokemon league here in Sinnoh." Tobias said in surprise, he clearly didn't expect Ash to appear in this competition because the last time he heard about him was that he was training."
Alan smirked and said, "I am pretty sure that he has become a lot stronger now, and seeing from the way his Samurott fights I can see him winning the entire tournament."
Tobias on the other hand had a skeptical look on his face and retorted, "I don't think so because there is a strong trainer who is also participating in this pokemon league and he is called Paul which is also Ash's previous rival."
"Seeing we are cheering different trainers why don't we have a bet shall we?" Alan said while staring at Tobias.
Tobias stared back and nodded, "Then I will that bet that Paul will be the one to win this tournament."
"Hahaha, then if Ash wins then you will give me a mega stone that is suitable for Tyranitar," Alan said clearly happy that Tobias accepted the bet.
"And if Paul wins then you must give me that extra Charizard mega stone you have," Tobias said, he knew that Alan got another mega stone that is suitable for Charizard.
"Deal!" Alan stood up and shook Tobias' hands locking the deal.

Stadium D
"Samurott, jump back and use aqua jet!"
Samurott did as he was told and jumped backwards dodging the incoming sleep powder and used aqua jet, shooting himself towards Venusaur.
"Use vine whip on the ground!"
Venusaur immediately smashed his vine whip on the ground and used the momentum to jump up easily avoiding the incoming aqua jet.
"Heh, what a predictable move. Samurott, use iron tail to change your direction and finish him off with aerial ace!"
Samurott smashed his iron tail towards the group and jumped towards Venusaur who was defenseless in the air and used aerial ace hitting Venusaur head-on.
*BAM!*
Venusaur fell down from the air and fainted.
"Venusaur is unable to continue, the winner is Samurott!"
Ash smiled at Samurott and praised, "You did great there, it looks like your training didn't go to waste huh."
Samurott cheered standing on his hind legs and raising his front paws in the air, he then approached Ash and rubbed his head on Ash's hands.
Ash seeing this knew what Samurott wants, this way his fifth battle already and he defeated every opponent he faced not even taking a single hit from them.
"If you want to continue battling then you should try talking to Bayleef because I already promised her that she will be fighting the remaining 5 matches," Ash said returning Samurott inside his Pokeball.
Exiting the stadium Ash saw his Mother along with Serena waiting for him.
"By the looks of it, you won't be having any problem making it into the main tournament," Delia said clearly proud of her son.
Ash nodded and replied, "I'm not one to brag but they really aren't strong enough to make me go serious."
Serena smiled seeing Ash so confident and said, "I think that you can easily win the whole tournament Ash."
Turning his attention towards Serena who was always stuck with his mother, he smiled back. "I hope so too."
Knowing that Ash would just go back to the house after his battle Delia asked Serena, "Serena, can you accompany Ash this day? Me and Jessie will be doing some shopping."
Not even giving Serena or Ash a chance to speak Delia immediately left and went towards the house where Jessie and James were currently at.
Smiling wearily at his mother's antics Ash looked at Serena who suddenly lowered her head and asked, "So where do you want to go?"
Not knowing what to say because it happened so suddenly Serena was still nervous knowing that she will be having a date with Ash and stuttered, "Uh-uhm, how about we check the stalls for clothes because you always use the same clothes every single day."
Ash looked at his clothes and defended himself, "I don't use the same clothing every day it's just that all of my clothes are the same and I really like the color and design of my outfit."
Serena giggled seeing Ash's reaction, "It's settled then we will be looking for new clothes so that you won't be using the same old boring clothes every single day."
Not wanting to argue with a girl, Ash walked beside Serena as they looked for new clothes for him to wear.
Outside of Stadium C
Dawn, May, and Bonnie just finished watching Max's battle and were about to make their way towards Ash's house when suddenly Bonnie exclaimed while pointing towards the crowd.
"Hey, isn't that big bro Ash and big sis Serena? look! look! they are dating." Bonnie said in excitement.
Dawn and May immediately looked towards the direction Bonnie was pointing and true enough they both saw Ash and Serena going inside a clothing stall together.
Dawn looked at May and whispered, "Are we gonna let them date?"
May frowned and took another glance at the shop where Ash and Serena entered and replied, "Absolutely not, If we let this slide then Serena who already has the advantage will get even more advantage than us."
Dawn nodded in agreement and the two ladies walked towards the clothing stall with Bonnie following behind them with an amused expression on her face.
'This is gonna be interesting to watch.' Bonnie thought and was clearly curious as to what will take place.
