Birthday! [4]

There's this program I plan on joining while taking Trainer school called the Youngster Program, hah call me Youngster Colson, now peasants! This program can be taken at the age of 7-9. This allows a young person to legally own a Battling Pokemon to battle with.

This restricts you a lot though, not letting you leave your town to wonder off too far off the guarded areas of the town, unless being escorted by a real trainer or their guardians. This in the long run will help me get battling experience and train my first ever Pokemon!'

Before I should do anything, though, I better get some shut eye and wake up to my birthday today. I think to myself, now drifting off to sleep, wondering if this is all just a dream.

"Bwadah! Bwadah! Wake up!" A very loud and childish voice says while shaking Colson.

God damn, who the hell is shaking me right now.

"Today iz our birthday! lets go now play now!"

Groaning inwardly, I start to open my eyes to the sight of a cute girl with green hair and blue eyes.

'She's so cute I have to pinch her cheeks.' Thinking about this, Colson proceeds to use his chubby little hands to pinch the cute girls cheeks.

The now identified Lily Green, after recoiling her head because of the attacks on her cheeks, proceeds to pout, making her look even cuter.

"Wahts wong with you! That hurts!." She says, trying to hold in her tears. Colson seeing this, panicks and starts to hug and pat her head.

Lily, feeling the warm hug and pats, starts to calm down and look at Colson.

"Lets go, itz our birthday we get presents!" She shouts with glee doing a complete 180 calming the panicked Colson.

'Now that I realise my room is quite large. The room can be described as a very large kids room, with lots of toys everywhere.

The room looks very expensive, with fancy windows and a big bed the size of two king size beds, which both Lily and I were sleeping in last night. (Don't say anywhere weird, I swear to Go-)

The walls in the room were painted a royal shade of blue with a weird white pattern being stuck onto it.

In the corner of the room can be seen all our toys like Pokemon plushies Lily and I before I got into this body would have "Pokemon battles" which was pretty funny from what I could remember.'

Lily and I are now walking down the stairs, holding hands with the help of a maid. Making it down the stairs, the maid starts to walk away as we are in distance to walk to our parents down at the dining table.

Before we could enter the room, though, voices could be heard having a conversation with both people talking a little agitated.

"Honey, are you serious giving our son the egg of my Pokemon as a pet at the age of five isn't a bad idea!" A voice says in a mild tone.

"It would be alright if it was a one of your other Pokemon's kids but Hydreigon's? A dark and dragon type Pokemon?

One of the worst typing combinations for starting trainers and extremely hard to raise and command, and you want it to be our sons, pet, Pokemon. Are you out of your mind Alex!"

A woman shouts while rubbing her forehead.

"At least im giving Lily Bulbasaur, which in nature are very docile and easy to raise but you had the great idea to give Colson a Deino, a Pokemon that when hatched cant be calmed down unless shown absolute power.

Even then they still try to wiggle their way, kill things not wanting to be commanded?" The woman retorts, making the now identified father shrink down, looking at the floor.

Before the poor man can be berated by words even more, Lily and I walk into the room making our presence known to our parents. Our parents Amanda Green and Alex Green can be seen both sitting next to each other, looking in my direction.

"Hewwo moma and papa! The ever glowing sunshine Lily shouts while running up to mother and hugging her legs as shes to short to hug higher.

"Mama can I get the Deino?" I ask while running up to her. Her gaze getting less tense looking at me, replies.

"Im sorry Colson I can't it's too dangerous for kids you're age as it can hurt you."

"Just let me talk to it once then you can decide! I reply while slurring my words trying my best to talk while making sense. Hearing this her gaze softens and lets gives up.

"Fine you can talk to it when you grow older, but if it even tries to attack you or seem aggresive you wont get it as a pet Pokemon okay mister?" She says, hoping inwardly I forget this talk.

Dad hearing this, looks at me while putting up a thumbs up sign while mum wasn't looking. Hearing this, I start to nod frantically, making both mum and dad laugh while leaving an extremely confused Lily.

*Two Year Time Skip!*

And just like that, it's been two years since I've been reincarnated into this world. Im now four with one more year to go before being able to see my new Deino if im even able to convince it not to bite me every single second it's awake.

In these past few years I've learnt a lot from listening to my parents randomly and asking them questions.

Apparently Pokemon have cores that they have to train to increase their capacity and potency! It's like a mana core but for Pokemon. For these next few years after I get my Pokemon I plan on taking it slow step by step as there's no way im not gonna try to learn everything I can with my edict memory.

Using my edict memory as an advantage, I can get ahead of my peers in the Pokemon Academy when I hit the age of six.

My powers also do work as I've used them both separately without anyone knowing. My Pocket dimension right now is very small, having no Pokemon to inhabit, it so it's not that useful for now.

My aura training has gone amazingly bad to be frank, im not even sure how I unlocked it, but it feels like a force moving in my body.

Im able to let it out using aura speech sometimes as im still experimenting with the new power.

My status checker worked like a charm when used. I needed to say status while focusing on a specific Pokemon. When my dad was having a mock battle with one of the neighbours, I was able to see the status of his Hydreigon through my window.
