To Cerulean City

Ash, Misty, and Leaf waited for Brock near the outskirts of Pewter City. They decided to meet here because Brock needs to persuade his siblings.

A few minutes later. They could see Brock's approaching figure and ready themselves to embark again on their journey.

"Hey, Ash, Misty, and Leaf." Brock wave at them as the Trio responded the same.

"Let's go. Going to Cerulean city will take a week or so. We still need to cross Mt. moon." Ash said to them.

Brock spread a map on his hand. Saying he prepared it because it will be useful in the future. Ash and the two girls agreed to them. As for why the trio didn't get lost on their way to Viridian and Pewter city was also because of Map. Though, navigating wasn't their forte.

They leave it to Brock this time. Brock said confidently told them to leave the trivial things to him, like taking care of pokemon, Cooking, Navigating, and Explaining things they didn't know.

Brock would be their Nanny and Tour guide. Ash and the two girls were feeling guilty for leaving all the menial tasks to Brock.

However, they were stopped by Brock by saying this is his training as a Pokemon Breeder. The three just nodded their heads and felt they were lucky to have Brock in their party.

On the way to Mt. Moon, Brock would chat with Ash about Pokemon and his relationship with the two girls. Being teased by Brock, Ash retaliated when he heard about Brock's reputation leaving the guy crying. Ash apologize to him quickly, he didn't want to hurt his friend.

Brock brushes it off by saying it was his fault for teasing Ash. Brock also promised Ash that he wouldn't get in Ash's way. Ash thanked him.

While the two were having their Boy's talk. Leaf and Misty were also having their own. The journey was relatively calm and peaceful.

Until Three people blocked their way. Arrogantly demanded Ash's Pikachu and their Pokemon.

"Ash do you know them?"

Brock frowned his brows and asked Ash.

"Yeah, They are the infamous Team Rocket. Stealing Pokemon here and there. These three fools wanted to steal my Pikachu." Ash said while brushing the fur of his Pikachu.

"Pika Pika." Pikachu nodded while glaring hatefully at the three.

"I heard this group well, they sometimes create trouble in Pewter City. I have dealt them but this bunch are troublesome. They pop out of nowhere and cause a ruckus." Brock place his hand on his chin and said.

"Hey! don't Ignore us." The three shouted at Ash's group.

Misty and Leaf stood by Ash's side. Clutching his arms and hemp of his jacket. Ash reassured them that it will be fine and wouldn't take long.

Jessie and James took out their Pokemon, Ekans, and Koffing.

Brock and Ash also called out Onix and Pikachu. They commanded their respective pokemon to attack. Onix used Slam on the poor Ekans who couldn't defend against such large pokemon.

Pikachu used his combination moves, Agility, Double Team, Tackle, and Finishing move; Thunderbolt. After the Tackle, Koffing flew away to its owner, James. Before the Thunderbolt strikes the trio. Exploding and flying towards the atmosphere.

James couldn't even react on time. Because Ash trains his Pikachu to the extent Pikachu didn't need to hear his command but the name of the combo. That way, the opponent would be confused why he didn't command his pokemon.

Though, it's not without flaw. Sometimes, the combo would be disrupted and Pikachu will be left confused about what he should do next.

Brock found out how Ash's train their Pokemon. He now knew how and why his Geodude that should have type advantage against Leaf's Pidgey, lost. That's because of Ash's Spartan training.

Ash trains Pikachu on the water, telling Pikachu that he should train his speed. If Pikachu can Run on the water, Pikachu wouldn't need to worry about Water type pokemon. Furthermore, Ash trains Pikachu underwater, expanding Pikachu's Lung capacity and then let Pikachu train his Thunderbolt underwater.

Ash advised Brock that he should train his pokemon in the lake. By making Geodude and Onix swim in the water. Brock was shocked to hear that. Ash told him that a pokemon should overcome their weakness. That's why Leaf's pidgey can stand toe to toe to his Geodude. Brock gave it a thought and left Ash his pokemon.

Ash happily accepted. He wanted to capture Onix if he finds one in the future. By training Brock's Onix, he could formulate a training for his future rock-type Pokemon.

Leaf and Misty were by Ash's side all the time and watch him train their pokemon. They also encourage their pokemon from time to time.

While Brock was preparing their food.

After that day passed, they arrive at Mt. Moon. At the entrance of Mt. Moon, they saw Team Rocket again. Brock and Ash dealt with them, with Brock's newly acquired Zubat and Ash's Pikachu.

It was an event that Ash would happen. He knew how annoying those trios are. He just leaves them be, They are not really that a problem to him. No matter how much he saw them, those three fools could make his journey interesting.

Those trios should follow him, Instead of someone. Unlike other team rocket members, those trios are relatively tame. They steal pokemon but for some reason, they didn't kill anyone.

If it's someone who is crueler. Ash knew that it would be a different matter. He wants to possibly avoid staining his hands but he knew to protect Leaf and Misty's safety, he wouldn't be able to avoid that.

That's why Ash didn't deal with the trio.

In Mt. Moon, Ash's group found a person flocked by Zubats. Ash has a nostalgic feeling watching that. He turns his head to Misty.

Misty who sense Ash looking at her with a smile, hit him on the shoulder. Her cheeks turn red.

Leaf chuckles seeing Misty, embarrassed.

Brock quickly took action and shooed away the Zubats.

The person they save was called, Seymour. A scientist. Seymour explained to them what's happening and need their help.

Ash stayed silent his group wanted to help after hearing the story. Ash's party deviate from their part to help the scientist. Along the way, they encounter a Clefairy.

Leaf and Misty squeak seeing the cute pokemon. Leaf wanted to catch it after scanning their Pokedex. However, Seymour stopped her and explain why she shouldn't.

Leaf became sad but she knew she shouldn't be unreasonable. Ash comforted her, leaving the scientist awkwardly scratch the back of his head.

On the way, Misty leaps into Ash's chest after seeing Paras, A Bug-type pokemon, she was screaming as Ash embraces the unexpectedly tomboyish girl. Ash let Leaf deal with it, though Leaf decided to catch it by saying she wants to catch every kind of Pokemon.

Ash comforted Misty for a while before resuming their exploration.

Seymour and Brock were looking at each other and the two has a wry smile on their face. Seymour was a full-time scientist and didn't have any romantic relationship. He was kinda envious of Ash to have both cute girls.

Brock was praying to Arceus that he wanted to have a girlfriend too. In the past days, Brock found out that the trio slept in the same tent. He was shocked but he didn't say anything. He promised Ash that he wouldn't intervene in Ash's relationship.

After all, Brock is the oldest in the group. For him, the trio looks like his siblings and needed to be taken care of. He is a Big brother at heart, He saw Ash as his friend and little brother.

Anyways, Ash, Leaf caught a Sandshrew. This was Ash's first ground type Pokemon.

The Clefairy they were following was trapped by Meowth. Then yet again the trio recited their intro. Before they could finish though, Ash commands Pikachu to use Thunderbolt, blasting the two leaving the talking bipedal Meowth. Pikachu deal Meowth with another Thunderbolt.

The Clefairy escorted the group and found an exit. They followed the pink chubby pokemon to another cave, there was a large core of moonstone. The Clefairy with them added the stone, that it was carrying, within the ring. The Core that was surrounded by fragments began to glow.

After some time, many Clefairy entered the cave and started to dance around the moonstone. Seymour explained to them what is happening. He also thanked the group for helping him.

Ash's group began returning to their journey.

Days have passed. Their journey to Cerulean City was getting closer. Ash and Leaf noticed Misty getting restless.

They knew that Cerulean City is where Misty's home. Ash asked Misty what's on her mind.

"Misty is there something bothering you?" Ashed slowly said.

"Nothing. I just don't want to see my Sisters. I fear we would argue again if I saw them." Misty look at Ash for a moment before explaining to him.

"I see." Ash gave it a thought before saying. "Don't worry, I'm here with you. Even if they don't like you, I like you Misty."

Misty blushes and hits Ash's shoulder. "Don't be cheesy, Ash."

"Well, believe it or not. That's how I feel about you." Ash said with a straight face.

"..." Misty stayed silent and ask him. "Do you mean, like as a friend right?"

Ash look into her eyes for a moment before saying. "If that's what you believe so. Though, my feelings are much more than a friend."

"Are you confessing Ash?" Misty asked but her heart is beating faster. Even though, Misty is oblivious when it comes to skinship between boy and girl. That doesn't mean she would cling to anybody, she only feels comfortable with Ash. Even if there is Brock at the party, she didn't feel comfortable with him like with Ash. Although, She was thankful for Brock because he's like a Big brother.

And Misty knew what Love is. Because her sisters would tease her about it all the time. Calling her a runt and unladylike. Bragging about their boyfriends to her, saying to become a grown-up, Misty would need a boyfriend. Misty argued with her sisters all the time.

Ash only nods his head, affirming her question. Misty blushes and clutches Ash's arm and said.

"Ash, I don't know how to answer your confession. but, I also like you, Ash. Does that mean we become Lovers?"

"Normally, Yes but Misty. I also want to tell you that I also like Leaf the same as I like you." Ash truthfully said to her.

"Eh, I don't get it but from what I know, Isn't being a lover is between boy and girl? Why do you like Leaf too?" Misty asked him innocently. Despite her sisters rub off their bragging about love on her face, Misty still didn't know what love is.

"I think I'm the weird one Misty. If I were to pick between Leaf and you, I cannot pick either one of you." Ash explained to her.

"Does Leaf knew about your feelings for her too?"

"No, I plan to tell her. It would be unfair to her that I told you about my feelings for you." Ash said as he watches Leaf battling against a Wild Pokemon.

Misty nodded as she was contemplating. Ash doesn't know what she was thinking and hopes their relationship will not change drastically. Fortunately, Misty didn't distance herself after finding Ash's feeling for her but only lean her head on his shoulder.

Her heart was beating faster and she was clueless about it. Misty decided to ask Leaf about it later. Misty found out that, Leaf is an expert when it comes to love. Because Leaf would always talk her love to Ash all the time when they are alone.

Honestly, Misty wanted to be with Ash
