EPISODE 76: The Dream!*

In the dead of winter that struck Veilstone City. The grunts of his regime all gathered at his presence. There, the master stood in a balcony. He looked upon all his minions like a king wearing a royal cape. Behind him were his two supervisors or in this case, commanders. High and mighty, the people gave their righteous applause for the future god of the future world.

Behind him, three cages emerged from the platform as the Lake Guardians were revealed. Their eyes were glowing in dark red as if they were being mind-controlled by some radioactive waves. They just stood there in silence, looking at the master and his people. Then from the ceiling, the banner came to interrupt, the banner of Team Galactic, the future flag of the new world.

"Fellow members of Team Galactic! Hear me! My name, as I appear to you today, is Cyrus. This world of ours is a crude one. In a word, it is incomplete. It has been, and always will be, a struggle to survive in this world. We humans and Pokémon are likewise incomplete. Because we are all so lacking, we fight, we maim... It is ugly. I hate the incompleteness.

That we are all incomplete, I hate it with my entire body and being. The world should be complete. The world must change. Then, who will change it? Me, Cyrus. And Team Galactic. Yes, all of you. Together we pored over myths and exposed their secrets. Together we captured legendary Pokémon. And now, Team Galactic has obtained the energy to change the world!

The power of dreams is within our grasp! Understand it, fellow members! My long-held dreamworld is on the verge of becoming reality. All those headed to Mt. Coronet, and those who remain here... Though our missions may differ, our hearts beat as one. Let there be glory for Team Galactic!" dictated, their master.

"Yes, Master Cyrus!" the grunts yelled, saluting to their one and only God.

Meanwhile, from behind the doors of the room in which Cyrus spoke was Cynthia, eavesdropping their conversation. She couldn't just show herself for she knew she does not have the capacity alone. Team Galactic is many, it would be a gamble to fight them.

"This is bad. I must warn the rest," Cynthia was worried. There, she fled the scene with her Garchomp to alert a few particular persons whom she trusts the most.

"Onward to your stations! Tonight we head for the peak of Mt. Coronet, do not fail us nor our master! Let the world fall like how it should have years ago and out of those ashes, let a new world rise led by our Master, Cyrus!" Mars added encouragement as the grunts came and saluted.

Some of them ran to their stations, to their helicopters atop the businessman's skyscraper. There were those stayed in their stations here in the basement of the Team Galactic headquarters. Their duty is to check on the security and cameras and keep in touch with their master as he leads the operation.

Cyrus has his own helicopter, much fortified than the rest. The steel is made of titanium to protect the vehicle from any bullets. With him is a squadron of alarmed grunts and of course, his two commanders.

How he couldn't wait for the upcoming scheme. His body boiled with enthusiasm. And there he whispered, "Let the new world come to be."

The ones from below waved their sticks, signifying lift off. All the helicopters flew to the skies and amidst the hailstorm that stuck Veilstone in the middle of the night came the ultimate scheme of Team Galactic. Like what he said, let the new world begin.

The finale is a bit shorter than the previous one but I would like to rule this as the second most longes finale compared to the previous and upcoming ones.
