New Pokemons

Vidal returned to meet with the Professor Oak team.

After taking his leave, Vidal made it to Pewter city Pokecenter before night to inform Nurse Joy about the situation in the Viridian forest.

He slept another night at the Pokemon center.

Vidal was ready to leave the Pewter city and continue in his journey.

"Vidal, this is a reward for helping me yesterday," Nurse Joy came with a Pokemon egg.

Vidal eyes sparkled; he grabbed the egg like someone will snatch it from him, "Whose egg is this?"

"It's an Eevee."

The egg became even more precious now.

Then he finally left the Pewter city.

The journey was quiet fast because of the bike.

On the way he was able to catch Sandshrew, Mankey and Jigglypuff before reaching the Mt. Moon.

Vidal camped on the bottom of the Mt. Moon.

Next morning, he ventured around Mt. moon and searched for Pokemon, catching Zubat and Clefairy. And most importantly some moon stones were also gathered.

Vidal didn't encounter the Pokemon which he wanted to catch yet. So, he was still catching Pokemon for Professor Oak.

Vidal spent another two day catching Pokemon until his path divided into two.

The straight path leads to the Cerulean city directly and another lead to the Cerulean cave.

And it was obvious to enter the cave to catch more Pokemon.

Just right after entering the cave, Vidal encountered a surprising standoff between two Pokemon.

Slowbro and Kadabra, staring at each other intensely..

"Slow, slow bro," "Kadabra"

It looked like a verbal fight was going on between them.

But it was interrupted by Vidal presence, Kadabra turned towards him with vigilance.

"Starmie, let's go with a swift," with this move Starmie was able to hit both Slowbro and Kadabra.

Vidal immediately threw two Pokeballs.

Slowbro was going to the Professor Oak Lab and Kadabra was going to be his new Pokémon.

On the excitement of catching Kadabra, Vidal caught a bunch of other Pokemon like Marowak, Rhyhorn, Graveler, weepingbell, and many more.

Finally exiting the cave, he spread his camp on the exit of the cave. He was planning to train his new Pokemon in the cave.

Vidal called out both of his Pokemon.

Starmie immediately took fighting position looking at Kadabra.

"Starmie, this is our new partner, Kadabra."

"Kadabra," Kadabra wasn't to be intimidated, but the one who intimidate other.

Vidal put Pokemon food for both of them, while introducing the new egg to them very cautiously.

"From tomorrow, you two are going to be fighting partners."

Vidal was hoping Starmie will be able to adjust its strength while fighting with Kadabra.

The face-off between Kadabra and Starmie continued for a long time, finally Vidal returned them to Pokeballs.

Kadabra a psychic Pokemon and Starmie also falls in psychic sub-category, so the training plan has to be formulated in different way than before.

"Come out."

Two Pokemon standing side by side for the start of training, "Kadabra will start with empowering its psychic power."

Vidal pointed at the stones all around the mountain, "You train to use your psychic by lifting those stones. Start with the small ones and throw them towards Starmie."

"Starmie will only use water gun or any other psychic moves against the stones. You can evade if you want."

"Let's start."

Vidal observed from the sidelines, there was chance of Starmie getting overexcited and …

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three stones and three Psybeam from Starmie, it was enough to make Kadabra flinch.

Vidal nodded at the rate which the three Psybeams were released and strength of the Psybeams was also commendable.

But this type of strength for a Kadabra who was in staring competition till one day ago was shocking and threatening.

"Kadabra, continue using Psychic," Vidal screamed.

Finally, Kadabra recovered from the flinch and ran towards him, obviously it was frightened.

Vidal caressed its head gently handing its spoon, "Don't worry, Starmie will not hurt you. If you train with him you will be powerful like him."

"Right Starmie," Vidal looked at Starmie.

"Hiyaa, Hiyaa."

Starmie gave its acknowledgement.

With a little bit of persuasion, Kadabra continued with the training.

Vidal observed for some time, finding no problem with the training he entered the Mt. Moon again.

Vidal entered cave again to look for different Pokemon which can be possible catch for Professor Oak.

Because of addition of Kadabra, he wasn't worried about the next gym but still getting some good Pokemon will not hurt him.

After locating some Pokemons; Vidal returned to find an amusing scene.

"Hiyaa." "Hiyaa."

"Kadabr…"

"Hiyaa."

Kadabra seems exhausted but Starmie seems to be scolding it.

"Let's take a break and fill up your energy."

Kadabra immediately ran towards him.

After break time was finished, Vidal took Starmie inside the cave to catch some Pokemon and Kadabra was left behind to continue training.

While catching these Pokemon, Vidal was surprised to see Starmie suddenly using Psychic.

Starmie seems to have benefitted from training with Kadabra; this is not good news for Kadabra.

After catching Parasect, Venomoth, Arbook and some other Pokemons, he exited the cave.

Another trip and he will most likely catch all the Pokemon available in the cave.

"We will change the training a little bit today," Vidal looked at Kadabra, "You will learn to evade moves from today."

Starmie was in-charge of throwing rocks towards Kadabra using Psychic; the result was out of ten only first two were dodged.

"Again."

…

Kadabra was clearly faster compared to when it was caught, but Starmie Psychic was growing in strength in scary way.

All the berries were consumed, food was digested and still Kadabra couldn't evade more than two moves.

It's not that Kadabra wasn't progressing; when Kadabra improved a bit Starmie will naturally increase its psychic power as well.

Kadabra has finally became an apprentice of Starmie, sometimes Vidal felt awkward to see tears in Kadabra eyes who was supposed to be intimidation type Pokemon.

When the bag of Vidal emptied again, it was time to move to the next city.

Cerulean city was not far away from Cerulean cave, after an hour in bike he was already in the entrance of Cerulean city.

"Did you also get the badge?"

"Yes."

"They said we just have to come to see their show and we can get the badge."

Vidal saw two kids which he had seen in Pewter city gym.

And by their talk he was sure the three sensational sisters must have given up on gym challenges and giving badges for free.

The two kids passed by him handing a poster to him.

The three sensation sisters were in the poster and their next show was tomorrow, a show of water ballet.

But at this moment Vidal conspired an interesting thought, he thought of creating a wall for Pokemon trainers called Cerulean gym.

Flint has already got plenty strong Pokemon but wasn't using, but in Cerulean gym there was no Strong Pokemon at this moment.

But don't worry; he isn't like Ash who leaves his Pokemon here and there for no obvious reason.

It was time to enjoy food and show in Cerulean city.
