CHAPTER 77 – ANOTHER DIMENSION (PART TWO)

In the previous chapter we see how our heroes set off for Vermillion City where they plan to spend the night before going to Cinnabar Island to challenge Blaine, but on the way it starts to rain in buckets and they have no choice but to take refuge in a cave, the bad thing is that when Ash wakes up he finds himself elsewhere with Latias and Pikachu by his side, but without the girls and if that were not enough, it seems that he traveled to another dimension because he met the original Ash, Dawn and Brock.

"I know what you are thinking, but in my world, Latios survived and now Latias and Latios accompany us, I captured her because she wanted to come with me, as for Latios... He went with my companion who are lost right now" - I replied.

"We will help you find your travel companions, for sure" – nodded Ash Prime.

Well, I didn't want to do it, to be honest I wanted to look for the girls and find a way to leave here, but I have several problems, the first, I don't know where they are, I don't even know if they got into the cave now that I think about it, since I was the first one there is the possibility that they saw me disappear and they did not enter and second I have no idea how to return, the only thing I can think of is to go to that cave and wait for a miracle or something to happen, so since we are we will eat and see how events develop, plus the original Ash and I have what we can call "Halo of protagonist" so surely if the girls came with me, we will surely find them quickly, How do I know I have that? I really don't know, but if the original Ash has it, why not me?

"Okay with me, let's eat" – I nodded.

"Alright and don't hesitate to take out all of your Pokémon, I have plenty of food for everyone" - Brock said.

Well, since this isn't my world, I don't care if they know what Pokémon I have, so I took my Pokéballs and took them all out, namely Manaphy, Charizard, Floragato, Mew, Cyndaquil, Lopunny, Meloetta and Latias and Pikachu who were already by my side, so I currently had 9 Pokémon in my team if we exclude the Eevee in Professor Oak's lab.

"Wow, what a lot of Pokémon! in your world can you take more than 6 Pokémon with you?" – asked Ash surprised.

"Yes, but we can only use 6 in combat at most, the rest you can take with you or leave in the laboratory" – I explained.

"What are those Pokémon and why doesn't the Pokédex identify them, are they just in your world or something?" – asked Ash Prime confused.

"No, they are also in your world... I guess it won't hurt if I explain it to you, Rotom Dex, can you update that old Pokédex to contain information on all the Pokémon up to the Paldea region?" – I asked.

They all looked at me confused, wondering who I was talking to if there was no one there but them, but they were soon shocked.

"It is a very old model and does not contain a Rotom inside, but I can update it, although it will not contain any other function than that of a simple Pokédex, I recommend that you make a Rotom get inside, otherwise you will not be able to use it for anything else" – said the Rotom Dex.

"A Rotom, why a Rotom?" - asked Ash Prime.

"Right, I didn't tell you, this is a Rotom Dex, it does the function of Pokédex and phone at the same time and inside it carries a Rotom that is quite versatile, soon you will start using it too, probably, so I advise you to capture one and let it get into the Pokédex "– I explained.

Some would say that it is better that Ash does not know the rest of the regions, but let me tell you something, the alternate Ash if he knows them and nothing happened, why not give this Ash that small advantage? Maybe I can help him, he is already a genius in itself, maybe knowing more Pokémon will help him progress faster and who knows it is even possible to explore Paldea in this dimension.

"Perfect, now show me your pokedex and I'll be enchanting to update it" - I said.

My Rotom Dex launched a kind of lightning bolt that entered the Pokédex and after a few seconds, Ash's Pokédex spoke in a robotic voice.

"The Pokédex database has been updated, data has been received from the Unnova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea regions, now you can analyze Pokémon from those regions" – that was his Pokédex.

"Great, so many new Pokémon to discover, I'm excited!" – said Ash Prime.

"Pika pi" – that was his Pikachu.

In my past life I read many fanfiction and in many of them they have the habit of humiliating the original protagonist of the story, my goal is not that, now I have come into contact with him, the short time I will be here I will take advantage and give him some advices, unlike in other fanfiction, I love the original Ash in all its versions, I was just angry about the fact that he didn't win the respective leagues, at least until Alola, but otherwise I was his fan and it hurt me when he left the anime, so I want to help him.

Once his Pokédex was updated, he was now able to identify Meloetta and Floragato.

"Now that you know about all the regions, I advise you to catch some interesting Pokémon, you can entertain yourself by looking at your Pokédex" – I said with a smile.

"The truth is that I would like to know where you caught Meloetta, I think it is an amazing Pokémon" - Ash said.

"Mmm, I'm sorry, it's not that I don't want to say it, but Meloetta was caught by a mad scientist who used her for his experiment, luckily I managed to save her, so I don't know where she lives" – I said somewhat embarrassedly.

I would like nothing more than to give him a legendary or a singular but unfortunately my encounters with legendaries were pure chance and I have no idea where they are.

"Don't be discouraged, hey Meloetta, if I show you a map, would you know where you live? I know it's weird but he's also me and there's probably you too, so why not put them both together?" – I said with a smile.

Meloetta smiled excitedly.

Then I put the Unnova map on my Rotom Dex and gave it to Meloetta.

"Melo" – he said.

"That's where she is, how will I find her?" asked Ash.

"Oh, don't worry, it's you, I'm sure you'll manage" – I smiled.

After this, we continued chatting while eating a delicious meal made by Brock, god, just for this moment made of less that Brock did not come with me on a trip, a shame.

"You're a great cook, too bad I can't try this in my dimension!" – I said.

"Huh, don't I travel with you in your dimension?" - he asked.

"Unfortunately not, you decided to stay in your gym" – I said.

I'll disguise the truth a bit, I'm not going to say he didn't even think about it, he better believe that.

"I see, I guess something would happen that prevented him from going on a trip with you,what a pity" - Brock said.

"Don't worry, I found 3 wonderful companions" – I smiled.

After this, we continued eating and once finished, I returned my Pokémon to their Pokéball except for the usual ones.

"Aren't you going to put Latias in his Pokéball?" – Dawn asked.

"Well, although not as much as Pikachu, Latias does not like her Pokéball, she is very curious and likes to see the world, since we are advising you to visit Alto Mare, maybe you will get some surprise" – I suggested.

No idea if that's true, but since Ash didn't go back to Alto Mare after the movie, maybe if he visits Latias again something will happen, maybe he'll even go on a trip with him, who knows, anything can happen.

"Well, if you say so, we'll visit Alto Mare before the Pokémon League" - Ash nodded.

"Great, now let's find the girls... where should we start?" – I said suddenly.

"Of course you are Ash, now I am convinced, How about we search the City? Maybe someone has seen them" - Dawn suggested.

"A great idea! But I have no idea what city you are going to" – I said scratching my head.

"Let's do what I said before, let's search in the City" - Dawn said.

"That's fine with me, but it's better to split into groups once we get to the City, so we can cover more ground, after all the City is quite big" - Brock added.

But the truth is that I was somewhat depressed, the City was very large according to the map, how could we find 3 people without any clue? And that's assuming they came with me.

"Don't worry, we'll find them, I assure you" - said the Ash Prime.
