Who is this Leader?

The tall Gyarados started to think about the deal. Honestly, it was a good deal for it and the group. New moves were very hard to learn and it was obviously easier to learn from those who had learned it before. If it agreed to the deal, all the Gyarados in its family could learn it which would hugely improve their powers.

"I agree to it but my child knows 2 new moves. One is called 'Space rapture' and another is called 'Tenacity'. My child may be able to teach your Gyarados about 'Tenacity' but your Gyarados may not be able to learn 'Space rapture'. 

'Space rapture' is a move that is related to space and he is the only one that has learned it. None of my family members have been able to learn it."

Axel was happy after hearing it. He already knew that his Gyarados might not be able to learn this move. Maybe the genius Gyarados had an ancestor who knew space-type moves. Space-type moves were very hard to learn and master. He was happy cause the leader Gyarados was truthful. It didn't try to hide it.

However, he still didn't want to give up on 'Space rapture'. So, he came up with a counterargument.

"So, why don't we make a deal? My Gyarados would teach your family about 'Sky walk' and 'Tail Blade'. Your child will teach my Gyarados about 'Space rapture' and 'Tenacity'. If my Gyarados is not able to learn 'Space rapture', then it is my problem.

My Gyarados would still teach you both the move."

"Ok, deal.", said Gyarados immediately. It was a good deal for Gyarados and it was not losing anything. So, it immediately agreed.

Gyarados didn't know that Axel was winning big time on this deal. In fact, it could be said that Gyarados lost a lot in this deal.

That Gyarados didn't know that Axel had a system that could bend reality. Axel believed that if his Gyarados trained really hard, it might be able to learn 'Space rapture' after a few months.

Axel's Gyarados knew multiple new moves like 'Water manipulation', 'Rage built', and 'Full Throttle'. These moves were more powerful than 'Tail Blade' and 'Sky walk'.

Axel didn't want others to learn these moves due to 2 reasons. First of all, was his own greed. He and Gyarados had worked really hard to learn these moves and it took a lot of time to come up with these moves.

Secondly, it took Gyarados a lot of time to learn these 3 new moves. 'Water manipulation' was especially hard as it took many months to learn it. If Axel didn't have his system, Gyarados might have taken a couple of years to learn it. So, obviously, if his Gyarados were to teach these moves, it would take a lot of time for them to learn it and he didn't have so much spare time.

"But I have a problem. I can only stay here for around a month and a half and then I would have to go. This mysterious grand energy is detrimental to us. So, how is my Gyarados going to stay here? It would obviously take some time to exchange these moves.", said Axel.

"Oh, you don't have to worry about it. I will talk to the leader and he will give you the teleportation paper. You can leave your Gyarados here to train and then come back when all the things have been completed."

There was still another problem with it. Gyarados was soon going to rank up to king rank. Axel believed that it would rank up after a few months. What if it ranked up when Axel was not there? Technically, there was no problem with it as the rank up condition had already come up. Shedinja and Charizard had also ranked up when Axel was not there but both of them had caretakers and teachers to look after them.

What if something disastrous happened to Gyarados and he was not there to protect it? 

So, Axel talked to the leader Gyarados, and told him that he wanted his Gyarados to be safe. He was going to leave it for some time here. Gyarados was very passionate about caring for his Gyarados which surprised even Axel. It looked like it considered Axel's Gyarados as one of its species and it felt duty-bound to protect it.

"Gyarados, come over here for a second.", said Axel. 

Gyarados rode on the water and swiftly arrived before Axel. It had been with Axel since it was just a Magikarp and it fully trusted Axel for its life. There was a bond between them that could not be broken by any means.

"You must have heard the deal with that Gyarados. Do you want to stay here and learn those 2 new moves?", asked Axel.

It gave a roar as if confirming that it wanted to learn those moves. It had also seen the power of the genius Gyarados when it was fighting with Slowpoke. It could not say for certain that it could win against if even if it was a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon. Axel may not have realized but Gyarados was also very competitive and it wanted to improve and challenge others. 

However, the rank of Gyarados and other Pokemon in his team didn't match. It could not fight with Venusaur cause it knew that it lose badly. It had already made up its mind on that. Venusaur was a different kind of beast altogether.

After Venusaur, there was no one that it could match against in Axel's team but here, there were multiple Pokemons of the same species and of the same rank. It now could not settle saying that they were strong just like with Venusaur. So, it wanted to prove itself and it could only do that after learning these 2 new moves.

Axel then shared the description of those moves to Gyarados. Gyarados was surprised after hearing about the move description. It was especially excited to learn about 'Tenacity'. It didn't care much about 'Space rapture' even though Axel said that 'Space rapture' was more powerful than 'Tenacity'.

So, it readily agreed to stay here and train. It had seen how powerful Shedinja and Charizard had become after training in other places. So, it was motivated.

"Good, then stay here and train. After I talk to the leader of this island, I will come and talk with you too. I am giving you this water gem that I have bought for you when you rank up to king rank. Keep it safe and use it when the time comes.", said Axel.

After saying farewell to Gyarados, Axel and the group went on their journey again. Axel also asked if there were any danger areas left. He had expected Gyarados to not answer it but surprisingly it answered directly.

"No, there are no danger areas after and you can reach to the leader's place after this. It might take you a couple of days to get here. The density of the grand energy would increase exponentially after this place, so be careful."

If the density of aeus energy increases, it might take more than 2 days for them to reach there. The leader's place was at the end of the north side. 

Just as predicted, the density of the aeus energy increased after every hour and they needed to take multiple breaks to advance. He could hardly see any Pokemons in this area. Maybe the density of aeus energy was so high that even the wild Pokemon didn't roam around here.

If they had not been to these resource type places and been accustomed to dense aeus energy, they might not even be able to reach the end of the north side. However, they were lucky to find all these places.

It took them 3 days when they finally saw the leader's place. As per Gyarados, the place where the leader lived could be seen from a far place. The Mavericks could see multiple mountains but these mountains didn't look natural at all. They looked as if their shapes had been forcefully changed. They just looked weird and different.

Axel could feel that there was some different, something very wrong about those mountains but he just could not pin it down. 

"I feel very different after looking at it.", said Cody.

"Yes, even I feel different and not in a good way.", replied Kate too.

"Yes, you are right. I also feel the same.", said Axel.

But they had to go there. They had come a long way and they just could not back down. They started to walk very slowly as the density of the aeus energy was getting higher and higher by the minute.

"Damn we have been walking for 2 days after we saw that mountain but we still cannot reach it.", spat out Lance. 

The mountain looked nearer when they first looked at it but it was not. They had been walking for 2 days but they still could not reach that mountain. The mountain looked like it was getting farther and farther away.

"Yes, and that feeling had still not gone down.", said Axel.

For the first time after coming to this island, Axel felt that it was a bad idea to go there. It was just an instinct and his instinct had never been wrong till now.

Should he back down and return? He wanted to go there but he didn't want to risk his life too. But he had come here after so many tribulations and tests. He had to reach there.

He also felt that there was some problem with his aura and psychic energy. He sat down and started to feel the aura around him.

Axel felt that a new world had opened up to him. That suppressing feeling that he was feeling till now was gone. It was not gone as per se but now he could tell why he was feeling like this.

It was all due to aura.

The power of aura was very dense here for some unknown region. Axel could say for certain that it was not a normal phenomenon. The aura was going haywire and that was what made him feel so uneasy. Axel could also feel that the density of aeus energy was heightened due to this unnatural phenomenon of aura. 

Something was intentional doing all these things with aura or was it was someone. Axel knew very little things about aura and its history. He had only heard that it was something that the first Pokemon master came up with. So, he didn't know any type of resources that could do something like this. 

The area that it affected was huge. They had been walking for 2 days and they still had not reached this place. He was certain that this had to do something with aura.

That was why only Kate, Axel, and Cody felt it at first. They were the ones who had trained their aura to a higher level than others. 

If it was not something it must be someone. Axel came up with 2 possibilities from it. With all these mysteries about the leader, he didn't even know what type of Pokemon species it really was or was it even a Pokemon? Since this leader was so pro-human, can't he be a human too?

That was a scary possibility cause if that someone was a human, then that human must be at least be few thousand years old. Axel felt goosebumps just by thinking about it cause if it was human, then Axel and the group were going to be a huge trouble. 

Axel would be more scared of a thousand years old humans than a thousand years old Pokemon. Even though he was also a human, he also knew that humans were greedy and could not be trusted.

But if that was a Pokemon, then Axel could narrow it down to only a few of them. Except for the legendaries and mystical Pokemons, there was only one Pokemon that created such a scenario.
