S2E7:Roxanne

"Well I guess it's my turn." sighed a brown haired lady in a dark brown dress with a red bow in her hair, "By the way my name's Roxanne. I hope you're ready for a rock hard time."

"I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that you're a Rock Type Gym Leader?" replied Foxx as he once more healed his pokemon.

He then looked at Joy as said, "Sorry girl but I think it'll work best for me to lead with eevee. Joy tilted her head in a bow like motion before looking at him and say, "Vul Vul Pix Vul." Which to him was converted mentally to, "I agree Foxxy."

Roxanne threw out her first pokemon, a Golem. Smiling Foxx holds out a pokeball before pressing the center button releasing eevee.

"A normal type against rock? I guess it's better the  trying to use your fire type." commented Roxanne before giving her pokemon his first order. "Golem rolling tackle!"

"Eevee dodge then razed leaf." countered Foxx.

The golem rolled at eevee with great speed but she dodged out of the way before unleashing a bombardment of leaves at golem causing critical damage.

"What! How's that possible?" exclaimed Roxanne as her golem woundedly walked back to his spot in front of her.

"Simple eevee though a normal type evolves into leafeon a grass type this allowing it to learn grass moves." replied Foxx, "But enough lessons for now let's return to the battle at hand.

And return they did. Now eevee was able to hold her own and took out two of Roxanne's pokemon before fainting thus leaving Joy to have to work hard and crushing the last one. This she did end up doing but just barely.

"You did good kid." complimented Roxanne as she gave him the Stone Badge.
