"Good battle by the way" Grayson directed this comment to the opposing trainer. "Thanks, but it was basically just a beating haha, guess I should be heading off to heal up my Pokemon, see you round!" the trainer says then heads towards the nearest Pokemon Center.

'That's 2 evolution's in 2 days, they both worked hard'

After collecting his thoughts, Grayson headed into the woods to set up camp for the night. The next morning after a grueling training, everyone was in a good mood as the new addition, Horsea was constantly cheering everyone as they worked hard, which pushed then to work harder to be able to protect this little mascot Pokemon they picked up.

Once arriving in Misty's hometown, they headed straight for the Gym as Grayson was sure that they had already tasted defeat to the Pallet Town trainers, Gary in particular, already. heading inside he sees a large crown gawking at a pool where there 3 Sensational Sisters were performing with their Water Type Pokemon.

'Thankfully the show is almost over, I don't want to waste much time here honestly'

After the show there were a few people gathered around the girls looking for autographs, and they obliged as they enjoy an ego boost here and there. When they got to Grayson, he decided to take the autograph that they handed him as it would be needlessly rude to hand it back in front of other fans, he could always give it to another fan outside of bin it if there was no luck.

"Thanks, but I was going to challenge you to a Gym battle?" Grayson asks already knowing what their answer will be.

"Ah a Gym Battle? We aren't in the mood to do them at the moment since we got defeated multiple times in a row, it was like, so humiliating. We much prefer to use that time to work on our shows. Here kid, this is what you want right?" the girl in the middle reaches and hand over a blue tear drop shaped badge.

"Ah, really? Thank you" Grayson pretends to show some shock at this revelation.

"Don't worry about it, make sure to come to another show sometime" the left girl winks trying to make the seemingly young boy in front of her fluster, but to her surprise he shows no spike in emotions to this. Dejected that she failed she turned her attention away and the sister went back to their day.

Grayson, happy that he doesn't have to waste any time on the pointless Gym Battle against them carries on his journey out of Cerulean City, not even choosing to look around. 'Well I got a free badge with no battle, might as well challenge a Gym with no badge as compensation to my conscience' Grayson smirks as he knows the place he is going is going to give him an actual challenge at this point in time.

Not to far away Cerulean City, and asking a few trainers who were passing through about it, Grayson found a large wooden wall, at the top it had a scoreboard declaring wins and losses, it currently stats 87 wins and 0 losses. 'Seems that he would have been busy with 11 battles in the next couple days without my interference.'

"Who's this then? My next battle victim?" a husky voice came from the left, it was boy with green flared hair next to a bulky Sandshrew. "Are you the undefeated, unofficial Gym Leader I've been hearing about?" Grayson replies. "You know it, me and my pal Sandshrew are unbeatable, ain't that right buddy?" "Sandshhreww"

'System show this Sandshrews Status' Grayson thought curiously.

"Of course, sorry to say but your undefeated streak ends here" Grayson smirks trying to rile AJ up.

Both trainers head inside the wooden gates and head towards the battle arena. Grayson debates internally who he will send out to battle this monster of a Sandshrew, then realizes that the Sandshrews Special Defense is abysmal, then a triumphant smile appears on his face as he knows who to send out.
