Betrayal

Two days before the sea king's birthday celebration, I the crown princess of the sea was murdered.

Athena was the youngest daughter of the king of the sea Tritunus, being the youngest and of common birth, she had to fight her way to the throne. She was as ruthless as her father, she killed anyone and everyone who got in her way even her own blood siblings.

Her father saw her worth and decided to crown her as his heir, there were some who opposed this but the king's word was final. Her stepmother and current queen Coraline also opposed the king's decision, she believed one of her children should be crowned the heir. On many occasions, the queen had tried to assassinate Athena but she never succeeded until she kidnaped Maria, Athena's mother. Consumed by rage towards Coraline she rushed toward's the deepest depths of the ocean where she was ambushed by all her siblings, even Ariel her beloved younger sister with whom she shared everything but it seems Ariel's thirst was greater than her love for Athena. In the hands of her beloved mother, she met her end.

"I feel cold and it's so dark," Athena said, "Where am I". It was dark and cold so I decided to close my eyes, when I opened them I was welcomed by the sight of a women with pitch black hair and red eyes and she was beautiful. I tried to talk but I could'nt, I tried moving my body but it did'nt move. Then a realisation came to me ..... I sea princess Athena was a baby. A little vulnerable baby, suddenly a strong burst of emotion came over me and I cried hard.
