BS and unfair game

Unluckily for Blazing_Sun_King goblins were sadistic, spiteful, and vengeful so after he was surrounded by the beefy goblins and captured his Death wasn't swift in fact he was tortured for a few hours. Sadly for him, he couldn't have dissociated from the game while still in combat. The only good thing about his situation was that the game only gave you 30% of the pain you would actually feel.

There are some VRMMO games that let you turn off this setting but in this one, it can't go below 30% or above 70%.

Shortly after the goblins were satisfied with beating him up, he was on the verge of death, his current state was unrecognizable from the handsome player he once was, with his swollen face and blood everywhere, not even his mother would recognize him.

'Jesus, can't these guys just kill me already? I don't know how long it's been but they gotta let me go at some point right.' he thought to himself with some hope that it would end soon.

Sitting in the Middle of the goblin village he waited tied to a wooden pillar covered from head to toe with blood. It's amazing that he hasn't died from blood loss yet. After hours of getting hit by all sorts of things from sticks, rocks, and fists at some point during the whole ordeal he figured out that for some reason HP stopped decreasing.

'Why can't I die!?' he thought in a panic as almost an entire day had passed.

As if reading his mind the Goblin King Kazak answered him in a gravely hoarse voice that made one want to cover their ears."The reason you're still alive is that…. " Goblin King Kazak took in a breath as if taking in the human language was very difficult for him then he continued speaking." I have the power to cheat death for anyone within range. This is my KIng skill. He said holding his hand above Blazing_Sun_Kings face.

After a moment of realization and horror painted on Blazing_Sun_Kings face, Goblin King Kazak started manically laughing at him and said with a bit of sadness in his gravely hoarse voice even if you can tell through the grating sound of his voice. "Sadly I can't keep those affected by my power alive for long so this is goodbye."

And with saying that the strange power that was keeping Blazing_Sun_King alive stopped and caused his body to go limp and then slowly disappear into light, a minute after he got over his shock from how strong that goblin king was and its BS skill Blazing_Sun_King found himself at the death screen telling him he has died.

Limbo is sorta like the afterlife for players in this game and when it was first discovered many players thought that there was some kind of secret in there but after months of exploring it the players found out it's kind of disappointing. When in limbo you will be able to see around the place you died, but you can't see or hear any living creatures so using it to spy on people is impossible. Another thing you can't really do is move. Well, you can move about fifty feet from your body so you can't explore anywhere that is hard as a normal person.

Hitting the no button he found himself at the starting screen of the game and after a moment of pondering he went to the Isekai Invasion Forums which can be accessed from there and started typing.

It didn't take long for other players to see his post because he is a famous player and has many followers. And the reason for the quick response to the post is because of the time difference in the game letting those in-game watch it from start to finish in a short amount of time.

And so on as it turns out the test is much more difficult than anyone expected which caused some to quit the game and others to drop it for a while but eventually they will come back.

As Dracard was doing his tasks and occasionally meeting up with his friends IRL he eventually completed all his tasks.

"Finally after all these years, I've completed all the required tasks." He said overexerting a bit.

It had been Four months in-game since he came to Turnip Village.

'I've been through so much bullshit. Over the past few months.' He sadly thought to himself.

Over the past few months or about 6 weeks IRL, he had gotten used to his daily routine in-game. From tending to the animals to fixing fences. But worst of all is the animals here. Many of them didn't like him at first but eventually got used to his presence there.

But the bad thing about that is how the Chircisk Treated him out of all the animals there, these ones were the worst. And caused him to die many times over the past few months.

And sometimes he managed to kill himself by accident. Like falling from a high place and landing wrong or drowning in the Well or lake when he needs to go there for his tasks. As stated before the Chircisk were the worst as they caused most of his deaths to happen and sometimes attacked him if he got too close.

They eventually stopped messing with him as much and he could work normally if he were vigilant at all times. This also gave him some minor increases in his stats. He got perception +7 and endurance +5 and sense and focus plus 4 each.

The best thing to come out of all his suffering and deaths is his new Title: The Little Demon That Courts Death. This particular Tital can change depending on the player's race. To get this Title a player needs to Die 100 times before entering Tutorial Island and if a human gets it the title is called Courting Death.

When equipped, if the user takes fatal damage the effect Immortal Demon will activate giving them immortality for 10 seconds and giving a 10% stat boost to body stats. After the effect ends the Player will die.

Lucky Sera didn't see him die so he didn't need to explain it to her.

He was pulled out of his thoughts by the voice of Edith.

"Common you're not gonna get any better if you keep spacing out." she said pointing a wooden sword at Dracard.

"Ah, sorry I'm just a little excited about tomorrow."

"Hmpf. And here I thought we were friends. Are you that happy to leave?" She said with a pout.

"Yes, I am. Although I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little sad." He bluntly retorted.

"Ya know with how to talk you'll never get a girl at this rate." She said as she for into a fighting stance

"I know and I'm a half-demon. I don't think there would be that many people interested in me in the first place." he stated sarcastically.

"Well it doesn't hurt to be a little less blunt." she said with a concerned tone.

"I know, anyway let's start now. Also, I still don't get why I need to fight with a sword. You said I have no talent for it." He asked as he got into his fighting pose as well although his stance was amateurish.

"Just because you don't have any talent doesn't mean you can't learn how to use one. It'll just take you a little longer to learn." She said with a smile and then yelled. "On guard." Then attacked.

Then the two of them started their daily training.

Throughout his stay, he unknowingly managed to become friends with Edith and Sera by increasing her Favorability Stat to 503, Seras to 598, and Connors to 487.

The reason it's so high already is that the more tasks you do for a specific NPC the amount of Favorability points the task will give you increases and decreases each time randomly depending on the NPCs personality from -5 to 5.

However, he is unaware of this as players can't see the Favorability Stat or that it has increased at all. This is why most players just ignore tasks as the rewards from quests as far as they know are much better.

And at some point, after that happened she started asking him to train with her for the past two weeks IRL or 6 weeks in the game.

Apparently, her Mother was a knight and trained her so she was able to protect herself and her father was Farmer but she didn't go into a lot of details as both of them passed away some time ago.

Also, he gained the Job Class: Farmer [F]. F-rank job classes don't do much but a farmer increases a player's endurance and strength by 5 and improves all things related to farming by 2%.

'Some people would feel ashamed of losing to a girl. In my opinion, I don't really care. I just wanna play this game and have fun but this is starting to get on my nerves a bit.' He thought to himself as he was lying on the ground for the hundredth time.

'It's not that I'm bad at fighting, it's just that she is way better at it than me.' He thought as he got up with a grunt.

'I just can't believe that I've been playing VR games for years and am still bad at fighting. Like what the hell?' He thought In annoyance.

"I think that's enough training for today let's get dinner ready." She said, stretching her arms as she walked toward the house.

'How  She is still not tired after so many rounds of sparring?' He thought as he got a notification.

Over the last six weeks when he started his training with Edith, his stats have increased randomly and he only found out about the bonus Stats after the first four sessions by accident.

If he could get all the stats from his training and not be stopped by his low level he would have gotten over the last six weeks a total stat increase of 200 Give or take with them going into his stats like this, 48 Strength, 43 Agility, 35 Dexterity, 19 Perception, 55 Endurance.

But because of the limit, he only got a total stat increase of 75 with them going into his stats like this, 15 strength, 15 Agility, 15 Dexterity, 15 Perception, and 15 Endurance so most of his training after reaching the limit is just to improve his swordsmanship. The only exception to this would be the Job class bonus and the Title stat bonus which are more like modifiers than base stats increases.

'This Stat limit is Bullshit and unfair I put in so much work for basically nothing' he thought as he looked at his stats again in his room after he had dinner.
