CH 7

Xaviar and Oliver arrived at the Boot camp. Harry is already waiting inside.

"Sorry to bother you, but we need to pick who will be the mage in our team. The higher ups are pressuring us about it." Harry apologized.

"It's okay, who's the contender for Oliver?" Xaviar asked. Harry hesitated to say it. Xaviar's mood became dark and went up to their practice area.

"Wait!" Harry yelled and went to chase him. Oliver looked confused and went along with them. When Xaviar switched the lights on…

"Congratulations!!!" The team, coaches, managers and person in charge are all gathered with cakes, balloons and with the banner wrote ' Welcome to the team!'

Xaviar was surprised while Oliver was stunned in shock. He didn't see it coming because he thought that he still have a lot of competitors.

"What? Why? How? Really?" He couldn't believe it. Michael tapped his shoulder.

"Let me explain. We had played twice. The first one was a year ago, where you countlessly outplayed my main hero, Julian with your Zhask. I don't know if it's fate or I'm just getting old but I believe that you are the one who will succeed me." Michael explained.

"Congratulations, you will be our new Pos4." Daniel greeted. Oliver blinked because he was cute? His thoughts were interrupted when someone put his arms over Daniel's shoulder.

"Hey, I'm Liam. Nice to finally meet you." Liam introduced himself. Daniel tried to brush off his shoulder but Liam is helding his shoulder tightly. "Excuse us, we will be having a conversation." He added and dragged Daniel. Oliver is still stunned while Xaviar tapped his arm.

"Come, I'll introduce you to the other officials."

After a warm welcome of the Blocklist to Oliver. They suggest that they would look at Oliver's adaptation to the team's performance. Harry and Xaviar introduced him to various producers and coaches behind the team. As they are analyzing the performance of the new team before announcing Oliver as the new player and the new line up roster for the next game since Xaviar will not participate in the next event. They could see that the team is doing well. After the game practice, they suggested that they would also look on to the performance with Xaviar on the team. The match passed with flying colors. They were impressed of their performance, especially Michael.

"What do you think of their performance?" Harry asked. Michael thumbs up and Harry felt he was satisfied of their performance. After playing, Oliver bids goodnight and Xaviar offers to ride him home.

"Hey Charles, want to come along?" Xaviar asked. Charles was busy setting up his emblem, he shakes his head.

"Alright, Malia is in Oliver's condo though." Xaviar added and went out with Oliver.

"I think he will interpret it differently." Oliver nervously said. Xaviar just chuckled and signaled him to look at the door. And there he saw an enraged Charles.

"What did you say? Are you Malia's new Lover?" He angrily said. He charges towards Oliver but Xaviar stops him.

"Malia is friend's with his cousin. They are gathered in his condo because his cousin is alone and the girls decided that they will be having a sleepover, relax will you? Oli already has a girlfriend." Xaviar tapped his shoulder and went inside his car. Oliver hurriedly went inside and said;

"I tell you, if you do that again I will let Calista punch you." He threatened. Xaviar just shrugs and thought.

'Hmm.. Am I excited to see her?'

Charles appeared and apologizes to Oliver. He then told the cause of their break up. He doesn't understand why she suddenly burst out and told him they are done because he is always busy, their schedule doesn't match up and they are total polar opposites, but Charles still likes her and wants to pursue her more. That made Oliver commented that she wants his care, love and affection. He advises Charles on what to do and they plan on how he will woo and win her back. Xaviar just listened to them and also plans on how he will also get the girl he likes.

AFTER 10 MINUTES, the girls...

Kylie and Malia just stared at Calista who is currently watching the new episode of One piece. Kylie just sighed and sat down on the sofa. There was a beep on her phone, she took a peek and saw what was written on the message. She smirked and stood up.

"Where are you going?" Malia asked. She just mouthed 'dinner' and went to the kitchen. Malia shrugged and the doorbell rang.

"Malia, can you please go get the door? It must be Oliver." Malia stood up and went to open the door. She was shocked to see the person in front of her. Oliver pictured her reaction, with the flash, she went back to reality and glared on Oliver.

"Can we get in?" Xaviar asked. Malia made way for them. As she closes the door, Charles grabbed her hand.

"We need to talk." He said.

"For what? We're done." She said in a blunt manner.

"No we are not." He talked back and dragged her towards the balcony.

"Hey! Stop it! Help! Calista, save me!" Malia pleaded. Calista turned her head to her and gave her a thumbs up and mouthed 'good luck' then eyed back to her show.

'Traitor!' She angrily thought.
