Chapter 2

The next day in court Layla was called to the front.

The minister of law announces " Due to the shameful act by the crown princess, the council has hereby decided to deprive the status of the crown princess from princess Layla, and from today on, she will be banished from the capital.".

"I see...I will move out from my mansion within a week and will hand over my role as a crown princess to my brother Ignia and all my military power to my brother Leo. I hereby cut all my ties with this realm and will only return if necessary. Mom, dad, and my dear brothers I hope you will take care of yourself…" Said Layla, she then cut a strand of her hair to symbolize that she had cut ties with the realm completely. She walked away quietly with tears in her eyes, while others just continued to speak harsh words such as "Look at her, can't believe she was such a slut." few others said, "What a fake, I can't believe the person my children look up to was so shameless."

After the assembly was over Ignia and Leo rush towards the emperor's chamber.

"Father!! Mother!! How could you do this to Layla!!! What has she done wrong!!! Can't you make out that she was framed!!!" shout both of them in anger.

The emperor replies calmly "This is the only way we can protect her, Your uncle is currently planning a rebellion. His first target is Layla, In his eyes, Layla is the biggest obstacle... If she still is in power he will do anything to take it away, even kill her. He wouldn't do anything to you both because none of you have the phoenix destiny. Tomorrow, Ignia, you will be given the title of the crown prince. I think you already know what to do next. And Leo, I want you to go follow your sister and protect her.".

"Yes, father" replies both Ignia and Leo.

Leo immediately rushes to Layla's mansion.

And says " Yo sis, you mind if I join you too."

Layla replies "Leo, Don't have enough stuff to do here. Why follow me?"

Leo then says "Dear sis, All I care about is you and also I am already fed up with the girls here. I think I could find better ones somewhere else."

Layla giggles and says "Wow, really. Then fine, I already know dad sent you so you don't need to lie to me. I already know about the rebellion uncle is planning and why dad decided to banish me from the capital. Since dad already made this decision I will respect it. If I continue to disobey the order it will just hold dad back. And that is the last thing I want to do..."

Leo says in shock "Wow sis, you really live up to your name. Since you already know, let's leave soon. I don't think it is safe staying here any longer."

Leo and Layla together leave the realm and decide to stay in the demon realm where their aunt Grandina, the sister of the emperor of the heavenly realm is living.

Their aunt was also similarly banished from the realm due to a certain scheme set by their uncle the brother of the heavenly emperor to remove competition for the throne. But after she was banished and met the Demon Queen Hades. They both then fell in love with each other then got married, she then became the Demon Queen.

After a few days of journey, they reach the capital of the demon realm. And stood in front of the palace. When they knocked on the door a soldier from the above shouted "Who are you both? and Why have you come here?".

Leo replied " We are the niece and nephew of the Demon Queen. To prove it tell her that Leo and Layla have come to visit her."

The soldier immediately informs the Demon King.

And the emperor asked the demon queen "Dear, do you know anyone named Layla and Leo?"

The demon queen replies "Yeah, They are my brother's children. Why?"

Then the demon king says "Oh, they came to visit you."

"Wait really !!! Make them enter!!" says the demon queen in joy.

Leo and Layla enter the court and greet the Demon Queen and King.

But suddenly Layla faints.

They immediately call for the imperial physician.

When the physician checks her pulse he says "She is pregnant."

All three of them are shocked by the news.
