You made the tea?!

David saw Roxy the way of making his special tea slowly, but obviously, it was false and his real intention was something else, he wanted Roxy to feed brain-corroding powder to Sophia and he was doing all this so it would be easy.

Although he could give her strict orders, however, it might backfire on him if Roxy manages to find a loophole in his words. However, if he somehow convinced her that this was the real tea then things would be a lot easier and Roxy herself would help him happily.

After all, Roxy loved Sophia and could do anything for her.

And when David first calls her to the kitchen she thinks that he is gonna poison her daughter and she is sacred to the bones, and when she finds out that he is only gonna give her the happy tea so his work can be reduced, she was relieved and even happy to work with him.

She would rather do chores instead of David than see her daughter die from the poison that she will feed him.

"And here it is the completed tea. Did you learn anything?" David placed a teacup in front of her and asked with a strict tone, however, there was a smirk on his face.

He was fooling Roxy and for some reason, he felt extremely pleased with his acting, on one hand, he was trying to get control over Sophia and now Roxy was helping him do that.

He wondered how she would react when she found out that the tea she would give her daughter would be the start of her hellish life. An excited expression appeared on his face thinking about this fact.

Roxy looked at the tea and gulped her saliva and only after a moment she nodded.

"Yes master, I understood everything. I think I can make this tea." She said and a confident expression appeared on her face.

She thought that making such a great tea would be a hard task, however now that she has seen the process with her eyes, she was relieved that it was easy.

She became confident and knew that she would be able to replicate the process easily.

David looked at her and smiled. "So you are not as stupid as I thought." He said in a condescending tone and moved his hand towards the tea.

He was feeling extremely happy with himself and was excited by the fact that today he would be able to gain control over Sophia and make her his bitch.

He was planning all sorts of stuff he would do with the mother and daughter as he looked at the tea.

Roxy on the other hand when looked at his evil expression furrowed her brows.

She didn't know why David was making such an expression when this would only decrease his workload.

'Is he happy that he won't have to make tea for Sophia from now on?' She was confused, she never thought that David hated doing chores so much.

She started contemplating about it and before she could complete her thought process a voice broke her stupor.

"Mother, I am back." Suddenly a sweet and warm voice resounded in the living area and just by it both Roxy and David identified as who it could be.

It was Sophia. When Roxy heard her voice a smile formed on her face, she doted on her daughter very much.

David on the other hand had a disdainful expression on his face, he had just heard Sophia's voice and it was filled with warmth and love as she called Roxy out.

It is completely different from the cold voice that she uses when she talks to David.

Roxy looked back at the kitchen door and she was relieved, Sophia was finally here and in her presence, David would not dare to do anything after all she was the most powerful person in this house and if she got even a bit suspicious then Sophia would directly kill David.

That's how cold her daughter was she was unapologetic in her work and does everything decisively. Roxy was proud of her and felt a bit safe now.

Although David has ordered her not to raise Sophia's suspicion in any way, Roxy is sure that if she spent enough time with Sophia she would find out that something was amiss and then it would be a times game, she would soon enough find that David was evil and after that she will get rid of him for good.

Before Roxy kept David alive because of his property, however now she didn't care about that.

She wants to see him dead now and the only person that could do that is Sophia.

"Go and give her the tea and tell her that you are the one that made it. I hope I don't have to make tea for her tomorrow, or I will get really angry." David looked at Roxy in the face, there was a disdainful look on his face.

"Do you understand?" He asked because he wanted to make sure that this didn't fire back on him.

Roxy nodded at his words and looked at the tea, after that, she took in a deep breath and took the teacup in her hand.

Although she didn't wanna follow David's words and would rather have him as the one making tea for Sophia, however, she currently had no other option, she had to do it or he would get angry and then she could only imagine what he would do to her tomorrow.

"Ok," she murmured and looked back at the door.

David smiled at her action, 'Today is the day I will get complete control over this house, I hope everything goes well and Roxy doesn't mess it up.' He thought and took a deep breath.

Although he has given Roxy enough orders and he was confident that nothing will go wrong, however, he was still a bit nervous as this is the matter of life and death now.

If Sophia found anything wrong with the situation then she would really kill him without showing any mercy.

"Sweetheart, I prepared a special tea for you today," Roxy said with a deep smile on her face as she moved out of the kitchen with a warm teacup in her hand.

Her gaze moved around the living area and finally landed on Sophia, who was sitting on the sofa with a smile on her face.

Roxy looked at her daughter and a proud expression appeared on her face, Sophia was her shine and pride, she was the one who had made her get control over this house.

If not for her backing then Ron would have never listened to her every wish.

Although Ron was affected by her sex withhold, he was still an officer in the wild water city if he wanted then he could get many more girls just as beautiful as Roxy, however, what made Roxy gain complete control over Ron was Sophia, since she was the most powerful in the family and Ron was scared of her wrath if he did anything wrong to Roxy.

Although Sophia was his daughter too, however, she loved Roxy more than anyone and would not bat an eye if it came between choosing Ron or Roxy.

Sophia heard Roxy's voice and moved her head up to look at her.

A warm smile formed on her face, nowadays she rarely had any interaction with her mother and getting to talk with her was her favourite part of her day, she loved her mother just as Roxy did to her.

From childhood, Roxy had doted on her and taken care of her every need, she had even sacrificed her luxury just so she could save money for her tuition and martial arts classes and Sophia was grateful for that.

She looked at the teacup in Roxy's hand and a frown appeared on her face.

"Mother? Did you prepare the tea?" An angry expression suddenly appeared on her face and then she stood up.

"Where is that fucker, David? Is he slacking again?!" She called out, there was anger in her voice.

It was clear that she was unhappy with the fact that Roxy made the tea when David was here.

Both the mother and daughter considered David as their slave and treated him like that.

And now that Sophia has seen her mother making the tea, she got angry. She wants her mother to live as peacefully as she can, Roxy has already sacrificed her luxurious life for her and now she is even making tea for her.

It was unbearable for Sophia.

David heard her voice and came out of the kitchen with a scared expression on his face, he looked down at the floor and stood there silently, he knew that if he said anything then Sophia would not drink the tea and instead beat him till he was almost dead.

"What are you standing there for? How dare you let Mother make tea? Hmph, today you will come to the garden! I have learnt a new martial art and I will test it on you!" She said and snorted.
