Back in the train Luke just looked at Hikari.
Luke looked at Hikari. "I am really wondering were you fit in the family Tree".
Hikari looked at him. "Son of Aphrodite and Paul, Grandson Uranus, Cousin of Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia, Demeter, and Hade's"
Yami just looked at him. "The greek really do have the most confusing family tree"
Luke just looked at him. "I am just happy that the other Aphrodite Cabin are not as smart as you".
Hikari chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, if they were, I'd probably be outnumbered and overwhelmed. I can only imagine what a cabin full of strategists would be like." He leaned back in his seat, glancing out the window as the scenery zipped by.
Yami smirked, adding, "It'd be like a reality show—who can outwit whom? I can already picture the drama."
Luke snorted, rolling his eyes. "Drama is an understatement. Just imagine the chaos if they ever decided to join forces with the Athena cabin."
Hikari raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Now that would be something. Strategic plans combined with charms and beauty? They'd probably have an unbeatable strategy for everything."
Yami leaned forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "And if they ever go to war, they'd have to keep everyone distracted with fashion shows while planning their next move."
Luke laughed, shaking his head. "You two are ridiculous. But honestly, with my luck, I'd end up being the one dragged into that mess."
Hikari grinned, enjoying the lighthearted banter. "Well, at least you'll have us to back you up. We'll just need to keep an eye out for any beauty tips or fashion advice slipping into the strategy meetings."
Yami nodded solemnly. "And if they ask for a fashion show, we'll just pretend to take it seriously."
Luke shook his head, chuckling at the absurdity of it all. "I can't wait to see how that turns out."
Hikari then looked at Yami. "Hey Yami you ok"
Yami just looked at Hikari. "Yeah I am starting to think I am Like Luke, He didn't get any powers from Hermes, I gess I won't be getting any powers, after all Demi Gods getting power from there parents are rare"
Hikari patted his head. "It is ok"
Yami looked back at Best Friend and Rival. "Really Hikari, because it is frustrating, that I don't get anything from my mother Eris".
He slammed his hand, as two dark wings, similar to that of Eris came out his back, as then Luke used the Mist to cover to anyone that is not clear sighted it will look like they are taking.
Luke pulled a book that Chiron gave him. "Come where is the page of powers of Eris children".
Hikari's eyes widened as he saw Yami's wings emerge. "Woah, looks like you're getting more than you thought," he said, his voice laced with excitement.
Yami blinked, staring at his own wings in shock. "What the hell...?" He flexed them slightly, the dark feathers shifting in response. "I didn't even feel anything before they just... appeared."
Luke flipped through the book, muttering to himself. "Here it is." He stopped on a page titled Children of Eris – Powers and Abilities. He scanned the page quickly. "It says here that Eris's children are rare, and their powers tend to manifest in chaotic and unpredictable ways. Wings are a sign of enhanced abilities related to discord and chaos. Flight is obvious, but..." Luke paused, squinting at a section of the text. "It also says some of her children can manipulate emotions, sow discord, or influence battles in subtle ways."
Hikari raised an eyebrow. "Influence battles? Like what, make people turn on each other?"
Luke nodded. "Pretty much. It's like a heightened sense of manipulation over chaos itself. You don't just cause confusion; you can push things in a way that causes conflict or chaos to escalate."
Yami looked at his wings, still in disbelief. "So... I can fly now? And... cause chaos?"
Hikari grinned. "Well, you've always been a bit of a chaotic force in my life. Seems fitting, doesn't it?"
Yami scoffed, a smirk tugging at his lips. "Shut up, Hikari."
Luke grinned at Yami. "Hey, at least you're not powerless anymore. You're officially a child of Eris now—with proof."
Yami nodded, his confidence slowly returning. "Yeah, I guess I am." He looked at his wings again, flexing them experimentally. "It's still weird... but it feels right."
Hikari patted his back, careful to avoid the wings. "Looks like we've got ourselves a flying chaotic force on our side now. Things just got a lot more interesting."
Yami couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head. "You two are insufferable."
Luke then looker at the book. "And it says you can control each and all of the feathers, some you can make as scarp as blades, and even some are as big and sword as as a sword, Feather Minuplation?".
Yami's eyes widened at Luke's words. "Feather manipulation?" He glanced back at his wings, still trying to comprehend what he had just learned.
Hikari whistled, impressed. "So you can turn those feathers into weapons? That's... actually really cool. You could rain down a storm of sharp feathers on your enemies."
Yami flexed his wings again, some of the feathers shimmering slightly in response. "Blades made of feathers... I didn't even know that was possible."
Luke nodded, reading more from the book. "Yeah, it says here that with enough control, you could shape and launch them at will. They can be as sharp as blades or even grow to the size of a sword. It also mentions that in chaotic situations, the feathers become more powerful. So the more discord, the stronger your powers get."
Hikari grinned. "Looks like you've got some real firepower now, Yami. And the best part? No one would see it coming. You're literally armed and dangerous."
Yami was still processing everything, but a smirk slowly crept onto his face. "So I can create weapons out of my wings, control each feather, and the more chaotic things get, the stronger I become? Yeah... that sounds pretty badass."
Luke chuckled. "Just don't accidentally slice us up with your feathers, alright?"
Yami rolled his eyes. "Relax. I'm not going to test it on you... yet."
Hikari patted Yami on the shoulder again. "Look at you, going from no powers to one of the coolest abilities around. Eris would be proud."
Yami smirked, his confidence fully restored. "Well, I guess I'm not so powerless after all." He flicked one of his feathers, watching it glide through the air before catching it back in his hand. "Let's see what kind of chaos I can cause with these."
Luke then looked at Hikari. "So do you have any idea why Hephaestus wants the furr of the Sun Sheeps Of Apollo".
Hikari srugged. "That is my Question as well, it seems more like something that my mother would give, not Hephaestus, shit makes no sense"
Luke frowned, trying to piece together the puzzle. "Yeah, it's definitely odd. Hephaestus typically doesn't care much about aesthetics; he's all about functionality and craftsmanship. So why would he want the fur of the Sun Sheep? It sounds like something more related to beauty or symbolism."
Hikari nodded, his brow furrowing in thought. "Exactly. The Sun Sheep are a gift from Apollo, associated with warmth and light. If anyone would want their fur, it'd probably be my mother or even Apollo himself. So what's Hephaestus planning? Is he trying to create something new?"
Yami, who had been listening intently, chimed in. "What if he's looking to harness their powers? Maybe he wants to create a new weapon or item that can channel the essence of sunlight, or something that could enhance his forges."
Luke perked up at that idea. "That would make sense. The fur could hold properties that allow it to manipulate light or heat. If Hephaestus had that, he could potentially create weapons that are stronger than anything else we've seen."
Hikari leaned back, crossing his arms. "But why now? There hasn't been any hint of a need for that kind of power. Hephaestus usually only works with what he needs for the upcoming conflicts. Is there something brewing we don't know about?"
"Could be," Luke replied. "We should keep our ears open for any news from the gods. If Hephaestus is making a move, it might be tied to some larger scheme or prophecy."
Yami nodded, determination flashing in his eyes. "Let's figure this out. If Hephaestus is after something that powerful, we need to make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. Plus, it could be a good way to earn some brownie points with the gods."
Hikari smirked, the gears in his mind turning. "Alright, then. We'll find out what's going on and make sure to stay one step ahead. But first, we need to get our quests sorted out. Who knows what we might stumble into?"
The three demigods exchanged glances, their resolve strengthening as they prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead.
Hikari then srugged. "Or weird question, just a gift for my mother, instead Aphrodite and Hephaestus wedding anniversary coming soon".
Meanwhile in Olympus, as the gods were watching the TV, the eyes moved too see Hephaestus hoping what Hikari said was not correct, but saw him doing a nerves whistle
Apollo just looked at his half brother. "You know, you could have just asked brother".
Hephaestus paused, caught in the act of nervously whistling as he pretended to work on a particularly intricate piece of machinery. His workshop was filled with the sound of clanging metal and the heat of molten metal, but the real tension was in his shoulders. He glanced up at the TV screen, where the other gods were watching him with amused expressions.
"Ah, well, you know how it is, Apollo," Hephaestus replied, attempting to maintain his composure. "It's hard to find the right gift for someone as... unique as Aphrodite. I thought maybe something special, you know?"
Aphrodite, sitting gracefully beside Ares, raised an eyebrow. "You think I don't know that you're trying to plan something, Hephaestus? You could at least include me in your thoughts."
"Yeah, bro," Ares chimed in, smirking. "We all know you're not exactly the smoothest when it comes to romance. You should just come clean. Maybe Hikari's right; a gift from the Sun Sheep would be a nice touch."
Hephaestus shifted uncomfortably, feeling the weight of their teasing. "It's not just about the gift. I want it to mean something. It's our anniversary, after all! I wanted to surprise her with something that shows how much I appreciate her. Even if we have our differences, she deserves something special."
Zeus, lounging on his throne with a thunderbolt in hand, looked down at his son. "You know, being honest and straightforward can often lead to better outcomes than trying to be clever or secretive. Just tell her you love her and be done with it."
Hephaestus sighed, his hands fiddling with a piece of metal. "It's not that simple. She's... well, she's Aphrodite. Her beauty and charm overshadow everything, and I often feel like I'm just the god of the forge while she's the goddess of love."
Apollo chuckled. "That's why you need to be genuine. Show her the beauty in what you create, the love you pour into it. You're not just a craftsman; you're a god with a heart."
Aphrodite smiled softly at her husband. "I appreciate the sentiment, Hephaestus. Just remember that I fell in love with you for your passion and creativity. That means more to me than any gift."
Back on the train, Hikari looked at Yami and Luke, a smirk on his face. "Well, if he is planning something for Aphrodite, it better not involve a public display. We all know how that goes."
Luke chuckled. "Yeah, a 'romantic' explosion might not be the best way to celebrate an anniversary. Let's hope he figures it out before he accidentally creates a disaster."
Yami rolled his eyes. "Knowing him, it could turn into one. But if he really wants to impress her, he should just be himself. That's what matters in the end."
Hikari nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "Let's focus on our quest. If there's anything we can do to help or even distract from Hephaestus's potential blunders, we'll do it. Who knows? Maybe we'll uncover more about those Sun Sheep in the process."
With that, the trio steeled themselves for the adventure ahead, ready to tackle whatever challenges awaited them, be it divine, monstrous, or simply the intricate web of family dynamics among the gods.
To be honest
