An old Friend

After saying farewell to everyone and departing from house, Vijay moved towards the parking slot.

When he reached there, he saw many different cars placed in a systematic manner.

The time period in which Rifts started appearing for the first time is known as Apocalyptic Age. This time period was not less than a nightmare for humanity. The destruction suffered by humanity during this time can't be measured by normal means.

After many years, decades and centuries of struggle, humanity established itself again and a new age of research and development started. This age is later called as Technological Age.

Humanity was not peaceful during this Age. There were many battles between them and Other-Worldly Creatures later called as 'Outsiders'.

The Outsider are divided into 2 types i.e. Monsters and Demons.

Monsters are those beings who doesn't have any intelligence and rely on there instincts for survival. They belongs to the first wave of Destruction during Apocalyptic Age.

On the other hand, Demons are totally different. They are intelligent beings and were much more dangerous for humanity as compared to Monsters.

Monsters doesn't follow any plans during their Invasion and don't have any motives for their action. On the other hand, Demons follow certain tactics and wanted to occupy Earth and rule it. There tactic were perfect but the reason for all their failures was a big loophole which they didn't expected i.e. Hero Job.

Seeing the situation, Demons formed a peace treaty with Humans and that's how peace emerged and the war came to an end.

At the safe side, Rifts connecting Earth to Demon World are few and can be counted at fingers. These Rifts are take in check by the Family of certain Heroes who had made the biggest contribution during the war.

During the New Age, War was at the peak and humans started researching the new energy known as Mana, but to no avail. Humans were unable to solve the mystery behind Mana but this leads them to 'Energize Weaponry' or 'Energy Weapons'.

Inside the corpse of Monsters, a certain stone shaped crystal is present. This crystal contains all the Mana it has accumulated throughout his life.

With many tries and many failures, Humanity finally invented 'Energy Weapons' that can absorb Mana from Monster Core or Mana Crystals and can help its holder to pass through the Mana Barrier of the Outsiders.

This discovery lead humanity to another successful victory during the War and forced Demons to fall back. This all happened during the Technological Age also known as New Age.

After New Age, next era emerged known as Peace Era or Peace Age. This Era is present till now and many new inventions are created.

Many of Daily Necessities Instruments like Kitchen Utensils, Cellphones, etc are replaced from Electronic devices to Energize devices. Energize devices is the name given to all the devices which run on Mana but not everybody is given the privilege to use these devices.

Due to change in technology, the value of daily necessities increased further. This further increased the gap between rich and poor.

Weaponry are further developed and started running directly with Mana, without the need of any Mana Crystals. This further helped Humanity to subdue the Demons.

All in all, everything changed during New Age and Peace Era. The living conditions and standards are changed. The technology is further developed.

With further increase in technology, cars also got modified and flying cars were invented.

After searching for sometime, Vijay choose a car and sit inside it.

It was a red colour ferari with a latest A.I. system and biggest mana storage.

"Welcome Master, Long time no see."

A voice is generated inside the car.

"Hey Wally, It's been a long time."

Vijay replied in a normal tone.

"Tell me the destination Master, I will bring you there."

"Monster Paradise, Country H."

"Hehe...Going to see some old buddies."

Wally exclaimed in a sarcastic tone.

"Shut Up."

*tsk. Wally Sneered and headed towards the destination.

Monster Paradise, Country H

After a long drive of a whole day, Vijay reached his destination. He opened the car door and started walking deep inside the forest.

Monster Paradise is a restricted area where monster resides. It is a forest covered with trees and is much more dense than any other forest in the vicinity. No human dared to set foot on this forest. It is a living hell.

It is not that human feared the monsters present here but the ruler of the area is someone, Humanity can't mess up with.

Vijay was walking towards the middle of the forest but no monster approached him. Many monster were watching him but nobody dared to attack. It was there survival instincts that stopped them.

"Now, now who we have here. If it isn't my best buddy."

A man emerged from the cave situated in the middle of the Forest. He looked ferocious with red hair, and a deep wound covering his right eye.

He was wearing a red shirt and a red trouser. His left eye was deep red with flames residing inside his pupil.

"Hoo... Looks like you have reached your limits."

Vijay said with a smile in his face.

*tsk. The red haired man sneered

"At the end, I am unable to reach your level but I 'The Dragon God Drouge' has became the strongest among all the Gods."

"Hahahaha..."

Drouge laughed like a villian and every creature inside the forest started shivering. His laugh reached human society and everybody looked towards the direction of voice. Cold Sweat started flowing from everyone's forehead.

"Stop It."

Vijay said and Drouge stopped.

After a small silence Drouge sat on the ground and asked Vijay about his visit.

Before that Vijay asked Drouge to show his 'Status'.

"Interested in my Status? It is my pleasure to show my Status to you."

Drouge was excited and shouted while laughing.
