"This Gulu City is truly enormous! I can conservatively estimate it to be at least fifty times larger than River City." Ling Fan said.

He and Robin have been wandering around this city for almost a day, yet they've only passed two streets.

Ling Fan now regrets leaving his swift eagle in the Warcraft Forest. He was worried that bringing a magic beast might attract too much attention, even though he wasn't afraid of confrontation; it would just be bothersome.

However, after entering the city, Ling Fan realized he was wrong, way off the mark. In Gulu City, not only are many people accompanied by magic beast, but there's also quite a number of them.

Look at that fat guy, swaggering down the main road with a dawn spring wolf.

Seriously, can't he just walk normally? No, he won't! Acting as if he's afraid people won't notice him, he's even swaying his chubby cheeks while humming a completely off-key tune sound, looking incredibly annoying.

Ling Fan finds it odd that someone like him dares to walk proudly around like this. Is he not afraid of trouble? Just by his appearance alone, he can be regarded as trouble. Where does his confidence come from?

And that fat guy's big buckteeth, he really dared to expose it.

Apart from this unbelievable person with the magic beast. He also spotted many other people with magic beast pet, though they look more ordinary, so he won't go into details.

It seems like having a magic beast pet has become a trend here, and Ling Fan even notices several stores dedicated to dealing with magic beasts, and business seems to be booming.

It appears that in Gulu City, making magic beast people's pets has become completely legal, commercialized, and widely accepted!

Gulu City is just too vast, and wandering around aimlessly like this is quite inconvenient. Since they are here anyways, they decide to enter the shop after securing their horse by tying it to a nearby stone post.

Inside the shop, Ling Fan's eyes light up. Although he has seen countless magic treasures, the variety of goods on display still overwhelms him.

Robin, even more curious, gazes around with a glimmer of wonder in her eyes, surveying everything.

Though not very large, the magic shop has everything one could want. There are various magic staff, magic crystals, magic rings, and other items neatly arranged in different sections.

Ling Fan stayed there for a moment, then heads straight to the section where there are magic rings.

"What can I get for you two?" The lady at the counter, still quite beautiful, speaks softly and maintains her amiable attitude.

Ling Fan didn't answer immediately. Instead, he looks at the price list of the items on display.

After scanning through them, Ling Fan's heart sank, realizing that his dream of owning a magic ring is just out of reach. The cheapest magic ring here costs 30 diamond coins, and that's a lot! In gold coins, it's equivalent to 30,000 gold coins, which is far beyond Ling Fan's small savings; just looking at it is a luxury.

After finishing her speech, she fixes her big, bright eyes on Ling Fan without wavering—her clear seemed to say: "Please buy something, so i can get a commission."

Ling Fan looks at the magic rings, then at the saleswoman. After a moment, he blurts out a classic phrase:

"Can you offer an installment credit plan?"

The saleswoman's eyebrow slightly raises upon hearing this, trying her best to remain calm and not explode of anger.

"I'm sorry, but we don't offer credit here," she manages to say, trying to control herself from exploding.

Ling Fan's face showed the expression of "I knew it would be like this," and immediately, his face turned into a withered eggplant—helpless!

After browsing through the shop casually, Ling Fan once again realizes that this is a forbidden place for the poor; almost all goods are priced in diamond coins.

He's exasperated; these things are way too expensive!

Without him even realizing it, a small code bug titled "Gathering Wealth" has started to grow in his mind.
