A Visitor For The Guest

I am fine, Tyler said as she stood up on the banks of the lake.

Checking her watch, she realized that the device didn't have any power.

The homing beacon on her Mobile suit was probably destroyed however the black box would lead her friends to her vicinity.

The tracker on the bubble, under the lake would also lead them to this area so she would just need to keep her eyes open and wait.

Looking at the individual who was around her age, she asked 'do you have a universal communicator?'

Anything that would allow access to other planets?

We don't have such things here on our planet, Tony chuckled.

That's unfortunate, she said disappointed. Do you have some kind of power source, she continued, to charge my device.

Immediately thinking about the battery setup his father had, he gave a cheerful yes. Yes I do!

Tony led her to his yellow van that was parked on the dirt track. Opening the driver side door, Tony stretched forth to the passenger side door and pulled the latch as it gave trouble from the outside.

When Tyler entered and sat down, she said that she had seen a van like this before.

Turning the ignition, he said hopefully not in a museum with a chuckle.

No, she responded. In a history book, to his bewilderment!

Tyler began to describe to Tony what her planet was like as they drove to his home. It sounded like a beautiful planet compared to the planet that he was on.

When they arrived, Samuel was seen heading to the back of the house. He stopped when he saw the yellow van returning with a woman in the passenger side.

Are we having a guest, Samuel joked with his son as he was exiting the van.

She fell from the sky dad, his son responded.

Right son. So she is an angel then, teasing his son.

Tony's face changed to a bit of embarrassment as Tyler was exiting the van.

Changing the topic, Tony said that she wanted power to charge her personal device.

Oh, that could be arranged, Samuel answered as he began to lead them to the garage in the back.

With a bit of uncertainty as she was being led past their board house into the back, she partially unzipped her backpack so she could quickly reach inside and access her plasma gun, in case things went south.

In the garage was the most historic contraption device she had ever seen which may have enough stored energy to power her watch.

She was able to easily connect the device to the battery pack which surprised Samuel and Tony.

Then she began to tell his father about the planet she was from, her educational background and how she ended up on this planet.

Their eyes could not open any wider as they were amazed by her tale. As she regaled them about her past, her eyes caught the black tarp that covered a large object in the back of the garage.

As she was about to inquire about it, a loud noise was heard outside. To Samuel and Tony the noise was unknown but to her, it was the sound of the engine of a star ship.

Looking through the dirt covered window at the left of the warehouse, Tyler could see the logo of one of the three. It was the symbol of the Ion colony. This maroon colored vessel was used for search and retrieval. She turned to them as they peeped through the door.

These are the members of the colony that shot me out of space.

Samuel looked at her and said, then they are looking for you. You can hide in here, while we talk to them.

Walking out, Samuel ran up the back steps, heading inside the house for his shotgun.

Tony closed the door to the garage and walked up the side of the house to the front of their home.

Floating in their driveway was a medium sized spaceship, with another one some distance above it.

In the distance, over the lake a third ship could be seen hovering in the forest area. Suddenly a small, saucer size portion of the ship descended with three individuals on it.

They walked off the platform and the shorter of the three walked towards Tony while the two stood close by with what looked like guns in their hands.

Mustering all his strength, Tony didn't move an inch as his visitor walked up to him. Samuel had gotten his shotgun and walked onto the porch area. Brandishing his homemade shotgun for them to see, only to feel insignificant with their chrome black, plasma weapons that they had in their hands.

"Good day, members of planet Earth, the visitor said!"
