Enhanced Power

The power of the skill given by Sinus-sama—"Full Enhancement"

was astonishing.

When I tried to take off in Fire God Form with everyone on my back

like usual, it was so fast that they were almost shaken off.

This being the case, my purifying power must've increased

tremendously as well. With that in mind, I first flew from the cove to

Ittle and tried to see if I could deliver my healing power to the whole

town in Vermillion Bird Form.

The result had no need to be mentioned, an old lady who had always

complained about her lower back pain was healed to the extent that

she immediately went swimming in a slightly bold swimsuit in a lively

manner.

Well, I did wonder why she wore something like that, but I attributed

it to her being very excited because the pain plaguing her went

away.

The other people who had to stay in bed regained their health too,

the people in town all had healthy bodies now.

Yes, the experiment of expanding my power was a great success.

In which case, our next experiment was to try purifying over a wide

range.

Hence, we decided to purify the monsters that appeared near Ittle

from a far distance.

"Look, a big one's coming!"

"I'll send a signal to Exa!"

Ophir and Zana lured over a giant boar-type monster—Calydonian.

Facing it, I released the enhanced purifying flame—no, purifying

light.

Then.

"Bumoooooooooooo—…"

The Calydonian was decomposed into particles mid-charge, leaving

glitters in its disappearance.

This was simply incredible.

With this power, we'd definitely be able to save the people of Lastall.

No, not only that, we might even able to wipe out all monsters from

the world.

However, monster materials had become a part of our daily life, so

that'd be a difficult decision to make…

Or rather, was this power always active?

If that was the case, the likes of monster materials I mentioned

earlier would all end up being purified…

Say for example, someone was wearing equipment such as the

Lizard Series that I used to wear as I was purifying, that person

might end up being stripped off in the middle of the town.

I had to be careful when using my power.

Well, that's exactly why I had to do experiments first, though.

Incidentally, let's try if I could do the same in Fire God Form.

If it was possible, I'd bring everyone with me as I went around

purifying towns like Magmell had mentioned before.

Yosh, psyching myself up inwardly, I continued the experiment in

order to return to Lastall in perfect condition.

And so, we set out for Lastall.

That was because we had found out that I was able to purify and

heal from a distance even in Fire God Form.

Well, Vermillion Bird Form was like the enhanced, condensed

version of the Fire God Form, to begin with.

And since the Fire God Form itself could be strengthened, it being

capable of the same thing was a matter of course.

However, in Fire God Form, my purifying and healing power wasn't

as powerful as in Vermillion Bird, so I had to stay in place for a while

for the power to work, but well, it was good enough.

The most important thing was now I had become able bring

everyone with me. It was a great harvest, I'd say.

If I was unable to, I'd have to carry the five girls in Vermillion Bird

Form as I did the purification.

Well, that might be possible now that all my powers had been

enhanced, but I'd like to refrain from doing it if possible.

"Fumu, it sure is fast," remarked Arca.

But anyways, we continued to travel through the air in relaxed

manner.

Of course, I continued to use my purifying and healing power on the

towns and villages that we had passed by from Ittle, just in case.

After all, someone who had been implanted with monster cell in

Lastall might be staying in one of them.

The chance was small, but better safe than sorry.

"Yeah, right. At this speed, wouldn't we arrive at Lastall in just a

couple of minutes? It should be about lunch time then," said Zana.

"Oh, then let's quickly get this over with and have a toast at some

restaurant!" Ophir shouted.

Magmell became exasperated. "Good grief, is eating the only thing in

your head…"

"Ain't it obvious? I love eating good food, working hard, and having

good sleep—us humans are all like that, ain't it?"

"...Haah. Indeed…"

Slump, Magmell dropped her shoulders.

"But," Tirna said, "it's true that meal is important. I'm a little hungry

too."

"Look, even the little hag agrees."

"I'm not little hag (angry)."

Looking at the figure of Tirna arguing, I felt relieved that she had

completely adapted herself in the party.

I had been worried that she might get lonely for being away from

Seleia-san.

But she seemed to be having fun, so I was glad.

Well, I thought calling her 'little hag' was a bit too much though.

"Hey, we'll be arriving soon, so hold tight so you don't fall, okay?"

And like that, I pleasantly watched over the girls sitting in harmony

until we arrived at Lastall.
