Path to Strength

This is the first book I am posting on this platform, so I ask for patience. My native language is not English, and I am not ashamed to say that I am using the so-called "Best Translator in the World" to help me with this work (DeepL translator). I was really trying to find fanfics that take place in the worlds of Baki, Kengan Ashura or the like, and although I found them, I only came across ones where the character gets supernatural powers that put him above any fighter from these worlds, and that frustrated me. A man needs to see two people fighting using their fists entirely, rather than creating interdimensional portals or something of that sort. So don't expect these kinds of powers here, because here there will just be the old way of solving problems. ---------------------------------------------------- It was a normal day for Yuji, going to school, then to the gym he was attending and finally home. A monotonous, but pleasant routine. There was no cause for pride, much less shame, so for the teenager that was enough. As always, everything was going as it should. That was until the moment when, looking in the mirror, the boy's whole perspective seemed to change. Facing someone who looked like him, but at the same time, was not him, Yuji sees himself in a similar world, but which is certainly not his. Crossover world of animes, including Tokyo Revengers, Baki, Kengan Ashura, Holyland, Hajime no Ippo and others that can easily be included in FF if readers have ideas.

_____Narration_____

In the middle of a dark alley, two men were standing face to face as they stared at each other, the moonlight illuminating their bodies enough to reveal that if was it was Yuji and Himuro.

"So you're not doing this to take my place as a representative fighter?" Himuro asked as he stretched his wrists, his expression wary as he looked at Yuji, who stretched his legs in preparation for the fight.

"Just a friendly match, I have no intention of taking your place." The boy simply replied, retracting his legs and beginning to hop around. "I just wanted to test The Icy Emperor's strength for myself."

Himuro refrained from speaking, his wary eyes roaming the boy's body as he tried to find any lies behind his words. As someone who grew up in the countryside, the ability to detect traps was something necessary for survival, and Himuro was a master at it, making it almost impossible to deceive him when he was calm.

But something about the boy in front of him was strange, and not just because he couldn't read him. In his 25 years of life, Himuro had met many strong people, especially after he joined the Kengan matches as a fighter, and regardless of who they were, they all shared something in common.

Its pressure, or as many know it, aura.

Experienced fighters are able to control the pressure expelled by their body, leaving it subtle or even releasing it with full force, but regardless of how well they do this, they are unable to hide it completely.

Even if they don't release the pressure, to more alert and experienced eyes, it is noticeable when someone is extremely strong. For these people, when someone is very powerful and tries to hide his aura, in their eyes it becomes almost a kettle that can explode at any moment.

But in Himuro's eyes, Yuji was completely different from any fighter he had ever known.

'He doesn't emanate any pressure.'

That was what was making him cautious. Yuji had no pressure emanating from his body, not like extremely restrained, just... non-existent.

Himuro felt as if there was an endless darkness on the boy's back, and this caused sweat to build up on his forehead.

'Damn, why am I so scared?' Himuro thought, clenching his jaw.

Yuji, who at this point felt warm enough, stopped bouncing and quickly set up his stance, Himuro's eyes widening when he recognized her immediately.

With his right leg and fist in front, the man recognized it as the Jeet Kune Do stance, more specifically, the stance he himself uses since he is a practitioner of the martial art.

'Is he mocking me?' Himuro frowned, the man quickly adhering to the same posture, beginning to jump at the same moment as the boy. 'You brat, you want to see my power, well...'

"..."

As the two of them bounced around, only the sounds of their shoes echoed down the alley, both of them staring at each other with different expressions, Yuji with a relaxed expression and a cheeky smile, while Himuro with a clearly annoyed face.

!

"I'll show you!"

With a roar, Himuro was the one who took the lead, advancing towards Yuji and throwing three punches with his right fist, the boy only raising an eyebrow at this while deflecting the trajectory of everyone with ease.

Continuing on the offensive, the man used a punch as a feint, taking advantage of the moment Yuji used to try to deflect the trajectory of the blow to reach out and grab the boy's shoulders, pulling him into a knee strike to his stomach.

'You shouldn't have made fun of me, you-'

Boom!

Just as his knee was about to connect with Yuji's stomach, the boy easily stopped the blow with his palm, quickly countering Himuro's chin with an elbow from below, the power behind the attack throwing his head back while making him spit blood.

'What? He counterattacked from such a short distance?!' Himuro staggered backwards as he wiped his mouth, veins popping out on his forehead as he turned his attention to the boy with an angry look. '!'

The moment the man raised his head, a fist was inches from his face, hitting him hard enough to leave him disoriented. Shaking his head to try to shake off the confusion, Yuji gave him no time to rest as he began punishing him with dozens of blows, forcing Himuro to raise his defense as he clenched his teeth in frustration.

'Shit, I was wrong, this kid wasn't mocking me, he knows Jeet Kune Do!' Himuro wailed in his mind, his eyes moving frantically between the blows that were hitting him in an attempt to find any loophole. 'Who is this kid?! His strikes are perfect, I can't find a way out of this sequence!'

With a powerful punch to his forearm, Yuji broke his guard, quickly using this gap to punch Himuro in the rib with enough force to make him let the air out of his lungs.

Boom!

Before Himuro even had time to groan in pain, a straight kick landed in his stomach, making his shoes drag along the ground before he stopped near the end of the alley.

"You son of a bitch..." Himuro cursed between groans, blood falling from his lips as he grabbed his torso.

Yuji, who saw the man's condition, couldn't help but joke in his mind. After two years in hellish training, it was normal for him to become strong, but the system just amplified this to a whole new point. In two years, someone normal, even with great potential, should not be able to reach the level he was at.

"What? That was it?" Yuji asked with a mocking tone. "And to think that you were considered a promising fighter..."

Himuro felt something snap in his mind as he heard the boy's words, his eyes widening in fury as he raised his head to face him.

"I will finish you off!"

Boom!

Himuro exploded toward Yuji, reaching him in an instant and initiating a combination of extremely fast punches, the boy having no trouble trimming them as he stepped back.

'Now!' The moment Yuji took a step back as he parried one of his punches, Himuro cracked a fierce smile. 'Gotcha!'

Hitting Yuji's foot with a low kick, Himuro caused him to momentarily lose his balance, long enough for the man to move towards him and strike with an elbow to his chin. The boy, seeing the blow coming, let his cheeky grin fade from his face.

'Not so good, is it boy? Escape from that-"

Bam!

The moment the blow reached him, Yuji moved his head to the side in a perfect dodge, his fist striking Himuro's chin moments later in a clean, powerful uppercut, the man spitting blood as the glint disappeared from his eyes.

Before his body slumped unconscious to the ground, Yuji quickly grabbed him and carefully laid him down on the ground, his eyes whitish in a sign of his lack of consciousness.

"It was bad Himuro, you were getting agitated, and I didn't want to break something before the annihilation tournament." Yuji laughed as he scratched the back of his neck.

From Himuro's aura, Yuji knew that the man was someone who would not stop fighting even if he had both arms broken, so he decided to end the fight quickly, since preventing the presence of one of his favorite fighters in the annihilation tournament was not something he wanted.

With a sigh, the boy picked the man up off the ground and put him on his shoulder, soon leaving the alley.

"Uh?!" Suddenly, a couple who were walking down the sidewalk was startled by Yuji's sudden appearance, him turning his attention to them.

"..."

"Hi."

The moment the boy spoke, the couple ran away in fear.

Yuji didn't blame them, after all, Himuro was staining his shirt with blood.
