Noah, Emery, Argos and Leonel walked into the Administrative building of the academy in their respective gear. The four had agreed to buy defensive gear before embarking on their mission, acquiring the most basic armor that the academy had to offer.
Of course the most basic armor within the academy's Repository was still far more powerful than ones anyone could hope to find at any low level auction house Auction House or weapon's store.

He didn't regret buying the two items but he hoped that the bandits possessed treasures that he could sell to make up for the lost Credits.
Still, Noah didn't dwell on it for too long as he walked over to the register. "We wish to register ourselves for a mission. This one." He placed a piece of paper on the table and slid it towards the secretary behind the desk.
The woman read the paper with a skeptical expression on her face. But understanding soon replaced it as she read the current top 10 first year students through her Star Record. She revealed a smile before stamping down on the paper before her and handing it back to her. "Give this to the Head Guardian of the border and you'll be able to pass through successfully and without any hiccups. Good luck and there's a chance that there are other students who are currently undergoing missions nearby. So make sure to work with them if need be."
Noah nodded and retrieved the stamped letter before leaving the desk. But his eyes squinted after turning around to face his new teammates. He could only hope that he'd have no unfortunate encounter with hard to deal with students in the first year.
He sighed once he reached the trio and gestured to have them leave the building. "It's going to take some time to get to the border, so we should start moving out."
After he spoke, he realized that all three glanced at him with a weird expression on their faces. It only ended when Leonel burst out in laughter and slung his arm around Noah's shoulder. "Bro, I don't blame you since you basically lived in the wild. Anyways, it's possible to get there within the next hour through spatial artifacts called Gates."
The transmigrator paused, surprised to hear that Maest had ventured into quantum physics but then realized that the aspect of teleportation was still possible with Essence alone. Still, the idea of creating a large artifact that could send a large amount of people from one destination to another was quite shocking.
Displaying no embarrassment whatsoever, he nodded. "Lead the way then. We can afford to spend a bit more Credits."
Leonel clicked his tongue as he listened to that lack luster response and could only sigh before leading the way. The four soon appeared before a large platform within the west compound of the Administrative building. "Let's get going then."

Noah never mentioned it, but he absolutely loved the feeling of teleportation. The weightlessness and sense of freedom was almost intoxicating, it was one of the reasons why he was very satisfied towards his affinity, even if it brought about an increased difficulty when it came to control.
Still, he felt it was missing something. He felt like his control over space was too soft and weak, too held back by his Earth like imagination. Thinking up to this point, the transmigrator felt an increasing need to gain the mentorship of Emilia.
But that would be for later. Right now, he had a job to do.
Noah moved, leaving his disoriented teammates behind and meeting up with the staff that arrived to welcome them. The man visibly displayed surprise seeing that the transmigrator had recovered so quickly. Still, he knew how students of the Soaring Star Academy were monsters so he didn't dwell too much on it.
After confirming the authenticity of their letter, the staff retreated, wishing them good luck as he did so. The transmigrator didn't have to wait for a long time since everyone in his team possessed Blood Essence and could quickly overcome the drawbacks of the long-distance teleportation.
"You guys alright?" He asked to confirm after seeing them stand up with wobbly legs and their hands on their knees.
"Yeah." Argos placed his hand above his mouth, hoping to keep down his retch. "We can walk it out. Fuck, I can't wait to advance to the Adept stage and overcome this goddamned nausea."
Leonel chuckled and patted his comrade's shoulder. "Me too, bro."
The transmigrator watched this and sighed. "Let's go then."

The wind blew against Noah's silver hair as he looked down at the forest below him. Right now, he was perched on a 50 meter tall tree and glancing down at the scenery below him along with his teammates.
His silver eyes shined brighter than usual, a sign that he had the Silver Dragon Eyes active. "I can sense multiple Essence signatures west of our position. Emery, you'll go down there to scout it out. It should be easy with your affinity."
The dark haired boy nodded. Darkness enveloped him and in the next moment, his figure disappeared before the remaining three. The rest waited, their attentions on their Star Record as they readied themselves for his message.
Soon a subtle beep sound was headed and the three immediately sprang into action, diving down from their high positions, readying their blades as they did so.
Noah disappeared a few feet away from the ground and reappeared above the figure of one of the closest targets, slamming into them with his heavy weight.
A female grunt resounded, along with two more grunts that probably originated from Leonel's and Argos' targets.
"Fuck! Stop! They're students." Emery shouted from behind, causing the three to curse under their breaths.
Noah looked down and indeed recognized the uniform of the Soaring Star Academy, even more he recognized the person wearing the uniform.
Elaine Elson was the individual pressed unto the ground and beneath the blade of his sword.
