Attack

Noah looked up at the tall prestigious Auction House that stood at the center of Lyre City and couldn't help comparing it to that of Ivory City. 'It's less glorious than the Ivory City Auction House.' And it was very easy to know why. Ivory City was placed at the edge of the Star Kingdom, where a lot of mercenaries chose to perform their business at, the amount of items leaving and entering the Auction House had to be a lot.

"This way." Owen led the group, consisting of his children and Noah, into the Auction House and waltzed directly into the VIP room. "We can stay here until the servants bring the manual."

The Family Head seemed quite at ease in the room but Noah frowned as he noticed something wrong with the atmosphere. From what he heard, there were rarely acts of theft occurring in Lyre City. Yet, the guards around seemed much too focused on their surroundings and had always had their hands on their swords since the moment they stepped into the room. The transmigrator immediately recognized an assassination attempt due to the fact that he had experienced his own fair share of assassination attempts in the past.

Raising his alertness to the highest level, he chose to wait for the manual first before trying to cause a scene. The wait lasted for about 20 minutes before the maid brought back a parchment oozing Essence.

With a smile, Owen collected the manual from the maid and handed it to Noah. "Here, the Manual is called Gravity's Will with two moves inside."

Noah nodded, reading the Manual as Owen spoke, scanning through it with his Silver Dragon Eyes. After finishing the manual, he smiled in satisfaction when he realized he would be able to use the two moves within the manual immediately.

"Now…" A murderous aura suddenly exploded from his body as he looked towards the Myron Family Butler. "Would you explain why you want to kill me?"

Everyone in the room immediately stiffened, placing their attention on the butler. Owen was quick to stand up, giving a nervous cough as he tried to diffuse the situation. "Now, let's calm ourselves. Noah, I'm sure there's been a misunderstanding somewhere."

Noah glanced at the family before letting out an aggrieved sigh. "You are really experienced, Owen but you trust people around you to easily. You didn't even question the reason the bandits attacked you and your family on the day I met you guys." Owen paused, a hint of doubt appearing on his face. "Let me ask you something, did he try to convince you that sending your children with me was a bad idea?"

"Yes but that's because he was just worried about them, right? Ashled, isn't that right?" The Family head countered, staring at his butler as if asking him to deny the allegations placed on him, but the man in question stayed quiet with a frozen expression on his face.

"That's bullshit, he wants to kill your entire family in one fell swoop. Taking your kids away means that your property after you die is still theirs." Noah gave a dismissive smile as he drew his sword and gazed at the butler, Ashled. "You should work on concealing your greed and bloodlust old man, I can read you like an open book."

Gritting his teeth, Ashled dropped his shocked appearance and summoned his Battlesoul. "Damn you, you little brat." With his words, the five guards stationed at the entrance of the VIP room burst out with their Battlesouls showcasing Intermediate Stage battle prowess.

"Hehe." A rare smile filled with fighting intent appeared on Noah's lips as he no longer bothered to hide his power. With a loud roar his two Battlesouls materialized shining brightly. "I forgot to mention that I really hate people who betray those around them." A coat of Essence appeared above his arms in the manner of a draconic arm, a normal Battlesoul buff as he didn't intend to reveal his Half-Dragon status to anyone.

"Attack the bastard." With a roar, Ashled charged forward. The 5 guards also released their respective Battlesouls showing off generic types of Fire affinity Battlesouls.

Noah witnessed them charging at him in the closed and tight VIP but nothing of it. The Gravity's Will Battle Art contained two skills within it, Push and Pull. The actions of the skills was as their names implied, Push had the ability to repel all within a specific range while Pull had the ability to attract all within the same range.

To the transmigrator, in this closed space, he wasn't at a disadvantage but had an advantage instead. After all he had just began learning the Battle art with his Silver Dragon Eyes Soul skill and could only perform the skills within a 5 meter range. So Ashled and his lackeys were nothing but practice targets for his new Battle art.

Flicker. In a blink Noah appeared before one of the guards, a spiral of Essence coating his sword as he executed Drill Thrust, aiming at his throat.

"Fuck off!" With a yell, a wave of fire spread out from the guard to meet against the projectile created from the Drill Thrust. Seeing as he successfully blocked the attack, the guard took a victorious step forward with an aura of flames appearing to cover his entire body.

The youngster barely flinched as he pointed at his attacker and circulated his Gravity Essence before letting it flow into the atmosphere. "Push."

"Ugh." With a groan the guard realized he was being flung into the air by an invincible force.

"Don't look dammit, attack him together!" Ashled lost all his patience seeing a minion of his have his ass handed to him. He rushed forward once more, a gust of wind appearing at his sword tip as he tried to launch an attack.

Unfortunately, his attempt failed. With another execution of Push, Ashled and his 4 incoming guards found themselves flying and crashing into the walls of the room. Noah, on the other hand, focused on his disgruntled prey who found it hard to stand after the bump to the head that he received. With a Flicker, the transmigrator appeared behind the guard and swung his sword. "Vertical Cleave."

Blood sprayed as the guard was split in two places, painting his face red but the same calm but battle intent expression anchored itself on his face. "Five left."
