The Half Blooded Wizard Slave

SHAWNA'S POV:

I was confused by his statement, I looked at him with a worried face as I see the blood dripping from his head. I asked-" Who did this to you?"

He chuckled at my statement and said-" Why? Will you kill them for me if I tell you?"

I blinked my eyes a few times as I was shocked by his weird question. Before I could say anything He asked again looking deep into my eyes-" Are you worried about a Slave princess?"

I noticed his eyes for the first time as our eyes met. they were different. His orbs were dark yet green like the vast forest, no, maybe like a deep ocean with lots of secrets. Why did I feel so uncomfortable while looking at his eyes? Like they were deep down hurt with something yet calm like a big tree giving the vibe that can soothe one's mind. But why he continues saying himself as a 'slave'?

I asked-" Will you stop saying yourself as a slave here? I told you we all are the same here. And if someone treats you bad I can talk with my Granny and..."

He cut me off by saying-" And? Pitying me? No thank princess. I have grown up like a slave and I do know my position here" He wiped off his blood a little from his head while giving me a chuckle saying-" I am amused to see a princess worrying about a person like us"

He was trying to get up so I helped him to stand up while saying-" Well, for me, I tend to see people equally based on what they achieve their name for not by what they are in position. Here..." I handed him my handkerchief as he looked at me with amused eyes as I said-" I am not showing off my granny or father here, I just wanted to help you. Not just you but anyone in this school who gets bullied. or in the kingdom with problems"

He frowned and looked at me, I chuckled and said-" You are new here that is why you don't know, I have been bullied a lot of times here. And I know how it feels. I mean what I said, Felix. If you can leave being arrogant and quit saying yourself as a slave maybe we can be friends."

I extended my hands. He looked at me with suspicious eyes but eventually, he shook hands while smiling at me. I smiled back and asked-" Let's take you to the nurse's office"

He nodded as we were walking he chuckled and said-" Maybe from next time we must stop meeting while I have to go to the nurse's office"

I looked at him and smiled saying-" Well, lucky you, let's say that we meet when u need my help at least. Else stop being in fights."

Suddenly we were interrupted by a voice from behind. ??-" Felix?"

We looked back and saw Cresseda standing there glaring at us. She looked down to my hands who were supporting Felix's shoulder as he couldn't stand properly by himself.

Cresseda came towards us asking-" Felix? What are you doing with her?"

I replied before he could answer-" Cresseda, he was hurt I was just taking her to..."

She raised her hands asking me to shut up while saying-" I.ASKED.HIM" She denoted.

She took a glare at me while her eyes were burning in anger. She said-" What do you exactly think of yourself huh? Do you need all men's attention in this school? Are you that desperate?"

I couldn't stand her insult anymore as I spoke-" Cresseda!!! Do not forget your limit."

The air in the surrounding became hot and awkward, it was broken by the voice of Priam-" Shawna? What is going on here?"

We all turned around as he was coming towards me. The sun rays were hitting his fine body as he was looking so fine. God!!! I saw him after almost a few months. He did change a lot. I mean he became more handsome. I was staring at him, as he noticed that and smiled at me before wrapping his hands in my waits as he pulled me towards him a little and asked-" What is going on here?"

Cresseda rolled her eyes and replied-" tell you pretty princess to stay away from my boyfriend!!! She is that desperate to gain all men's attention here"

Praim's orbs turned dark as he glare towards Cresseda with full anger as if he would burn her down. He asked while looking at me-" Shawna you tell me what is going on?"

I explained the situation as I felt a little awkward now to stand in this place. I didn't know Cresseda was Felix's girlfriend. Priam looked back at Cresseda and chuckled while saying-" Do you think everyone here is a slut like you Cresseda? She is the crowned princess of WitchDom. Better you stay away from her and keep slaving Jennifer."

Cresseda clenched her jaw in anger as she tried to push me from Felix, but luckily Priam hold me tighter not letting me get hurt. He became so angry as he raised his hands to slap Cresseda as Felix came forth and hold his hands preventing him to slap her. There was silence for a few seconds.

The surrounding becomes heated as they glare at each other in anger. Felix broke the silence by saying-" It doesn't suit a man to hit a woman Prince"

Praim scoffed as he said-" Wow, can't you see your girlfriend is insulting her? The one who helped you? don't you have any dignity?". He asked him mockingly.

Felix's eyes become soft as he limped towards me and said-" I am sorry from her Princess. I know she shouldn't say anything like that. I promise this won't happen again"

I couldn't say anything as Priam turned around and his shoulder stomped with Felix as he stumbled to stand properly. Praim wrapped his hands in my waist while saying-" you two should stay away from her". He looked at Felix who was already looking at us with a poker face.

He looked at me and said-" Let's go Shawna?" I nodded and walked away looking at Felix for the last time. His eyes were hurt and guilty. I could see it. But I was helpless. We walked away and reached the garden. He stood facing me.

Priam hold my hands as he asked-" How are you, Shawna?"

My heart skipped a bit hearing his deep voice, I feel butterflies in my stomach towards his touch. I tried hard not to blush but failed. I am sure he saw that too. I somehow replied-" G-Good. You?"

He smiled and replied-" I am better after seeing you"

I looked down hiding my red face from him. As he sighed and said-" we are now at the senior year, soon the school will end and..."

I looked up at him and asked-" And...? are you planning not to keep in touch with us?"

He stared at me with his serious eyes as I gulped towards his deep gaze. I asked-" W-what?'

He said-" I hope we never get separated"

His words made me feel a shiver in my spine. His words were different than other times. He was serious but about what? I replied while stuttering-" I-I hope s-so!!"

He looked away and said-" We both will be busy these days as we both will get into the royal training. You must take care of yourself."

We were still walking while holding hands and I nodded. He said-" You know Shawna. We will be taking over a big responsibility soon. And I promise I will make sure that nobody harms you. I will do every possible thing to keep you safe"

I wanted to tell him about the letters but in the meantime, John walked in while yelling-" Priam? The professor is looking for you brother!!!!"

He pushed his hair in frustration while he mumbled-" I hope Jenny would take care of you before you keep ruining my moment". John rolled his eyes as Priam glared at him.

It was loud for me to hear as I chuckled and he left winking at me. I blushed hard as I saw him running towards John saying-" Get married soon brother, so you stay busy enough"

They giggled as he walked away but before turning back once more while waving at me. I waved back and stood there for some time. I smiled unknowingly. It was already evening as I walked off towards the dorm from the garden. But I didn't feel like going to my room so I sat on a bench. It was getting dark as I watched the sky getting into its dark form leaving the light to disappear under his dark sheets. I took out the letters from my books which I hid there and started reading again hoping that maybe I will get a clue. But no!!! nothing again. How should I get my answers?

Suddenly I felt a presence beside me as I looked up and saw Felix. I quickly hid the letter back in my book as he chuckled and said-" Don't worry your secret is safe with me. I know you wanted to know about the slave legacy!!"

My eyes get wide in shock, as I asked-" How did you know?"

He looked away while smiling and said-" Let's set it aside for now. tell me why do you want to know about the Slave Legacy?"

I keep quiet while staring at him still in a debate whether to trust him or not? He said -" I can help you, as I am a part of the Legacy"

I asked keeping a straight face-" How did you become a salve?"

He chuckled sadly while answering-" Well I am a half-born Wizard Slave."

I frowned and asked-" What is that?"

He looked at me with a serious look and grabbed my hands before dragging me towards the forest. I asked-" Felix? where are we going?"

He didn't answer as I keep questioning him the same while struggling to free myself. We finally stopped in the middle of the forest. It was dark in the surroundings as I panicked a little. He understood I was frightened a little as he said-" Don't worry you are safe here. I took you here so that nobody can hear us"

I calmed down a little and asked-" So...?"

He turned back while answering-" I am not an orphan. I am sorry I lied. I was born in a family of slaves. My father was a witch but my mother was a human. There were lots of cases where pureblood and mudblood were born having the parents with pureblood of witches as some have the blood of others. I was one of the mudblood. My parents were poor so to feed us my mother become a slave. He raped her as a result A half-blood was born from a witch's bloodline and a non-witches bloodline. The master not only gives us the power to feed ourselves but also gives us the power to stay alive by sharing the powers within us we could use their powers which is of course limited. As people like half-blood are rare and can only survive on master's power. I do not have any powers of mine so I am linked to my master to gain power."

I asked-" So what does master get our from you?"

He replied-" well, once the blood was linked with a master-slave, the master can use the blood of the slave to gain his powers more. If he is in danger the blood of the slave can save him as his powers were shared by the blood."

I gasped hearing him. That is why she needed my blood, as I share my mother's blood.

He continued-" A slave and a master can gain each other's power only if it was linked by the traditional sacrifice. "

I asked-" don't you have the option to choose whether to or not to become a slave like your parents?"

He replied-" yes We do have but, as once the bloodline which was shared with master once has the power to make the salves child lure him to become his slave once again. It is more profitable to have the same bloodline slave rather than make a new one"

I understood now why she wants me and why granny and dad wants me to be safe from her. I will never become her slave. I will never. My mom must have a reason but I don't so, I will be strong. I was lost in these thoughts when he said-" So why do you want to know a bit the legacy?"

I looked at him with wide eyes as I replied-"uhmm... Just wanted to know"

he smiled and said-" well do not tell until you trust me, princess. I am unfortunately a slave of Lenin's and that is why I get bullied. I am sorry for today's incident. "

He looked down he looked guilty but it wasn't his fault so I said-" No, you don't have to be, they were like this since the beginning"

he held my hands and I flinched a little by his action but he said calmly-" You are different than them Princess, I promise I will keep you safe. let's become friends shall we?"

His words were a little confusing to me but I don't want to hurt him so I smiled and accepted his hands saying-" Friends".

We smiled as he said something which made me shocked. He said-" I have the power to go back in times. I use the power of Stagrid Lenin sometimes to go back in time and live the moment of my past". He looked at me with a sad chuckle.

What? he can go back to time? That means he can go back to the time where my mom was being accused!!! Should I trust him? Will he help me?. There were hundreds of questions going on inside of me as he said-" I can help you if you want!!!"

I looked at him with eyes widened.
