Journey to the Hell

SHAWNA'S POV:

I have no idea what the hell was a hellbound sword is now. Since I have landed my foot in this WitchLand I have probably faced uncountable encounters with myths that never failed me to become uncanny for the time.

Looking at the surrounding I could barely breathe at the moment. Aya was desperate to kill us and take over this world. Not all of my people's life is in danger but my unborn baby is also suffering with me. How? How am I supposed to stop all these?

Despite the power I inherited, it was not enough. My powers wouldn't work on her, as she was not born with our nature's law. She was a self-made evil born.

They have put Wolfsbane, Henbane by the fire, which would affect our army. She knows that Wolfsbane and henbane would suffocate us till we lose all of our powers. There is no way we can go out like this for the war. It was a won battle for them. Luna Megan and her army were probably been powerless by now as they were already in the field.

I wondered how much it would hurt their wolf to breathe in the air of wolfsbane. Also, it shivered me to death to think Priam and other's facing the same. They knew our allies and their weaknesses.

Luna Megan and her army were leading the northern gate of our reign. While William and a few of our allies were out to the front along with King Alan. Junnie had somehow contacted him via telepathy to alert him about the situation. But she failed to inform Luna Megan and her army at the right time.

Silvers were lethal weapons for us.

As for Jordan, being an Elf, he was immune to silver, but Aya had got Iron to knock his army down too. Mangul was still in the field leading the Fae army towards the southern gate.

Everything seemed to slip away from my hand.

Praim asked-" What is Hellbound sword and what can we do to gain it?"

Gina explained while looking down to her small handbook-" I was searching for the weapon that could end a pure evil and then I came across the weapon that holds to end an evil born. The evil borns are neither controlled by the law of nature nor by the law of the underworld. They were purely self-made, hence, the rage inside was inherited from the 7 princes of Hell."

I had no idea how she knows all these but she made me feel chills by her words. Hell? The world with magical beings was so much to digest for me. It took me 8 years to come over across the lives that held in this supernatural world which was somehow kept hidden from the human words for years.

But I have never assumed that someday I would have to encounter the matter of Hell itself.

She sighed as she looked at our puzzled face and continued further-" The reason I left from the palace was not to run away, but since the first time when Junnie called me to save Shawna from Felix's den that day and I have opened the portal, I have found the one I have been searching for so long"

Grandma asked in puzzled-" You were searching for Felix?"

Gina looked a little amused by her question and replied in a sassy way-" Somewhat like that. Venom was a well known being in this land". She looked at Felix at the last part. Felix looked unaffected though.

Gina continued further-" I have felt the presence of the devil aura inside the cave. I was sure but now that the one we are going to face is not an ordinary witch. It couldn't be, She never had any powers. Even if she would use a strong witches talisman to transfer her powers she couldn't have. But her " chi " was strong. I was determined to more find about her. Thus I went to speak with the spirit in the spirit realm regarding this."

She looked at us with a serious face as she said-" The only way to kill an evil born was to take the hellbound sword across her heart. The only weapon that would work on her."

This was insane. I have never heard anything like this before. Nor have I faced such evil before. Georgia was evil but could be brought down with powers. her powers were matched with mine, hence I could kill her.

Aya was stronger.

I was afraid, to be honest now. Afraid of failing to protect my family from them. I already am in sorrow for what is happened ing to my people in the field.

Aya was smart to make the move with the human soldiers and vampires by her side. The demon would easily rip off anything before them. I have faced them in the last war. And that reminded me of how Felix killed my dad mercilessly in front of me.

I was afraid to be in the same situation once again.

Mother Kelnier asked in between-" How do we get that?"

Gina replied with a firm voice-" The only way to get the weapon is to walk inside the Hellgate"

That was freaking crazy. Who would walk down the hell gate in their right mind? But If we don't, we would never be able to defeat Aya. And she would probably win this war by taking over the world. I cannot let this happen. I have to overcome the fear.

"When do we leave?". I asked breaking the tension.

Priam spoke just after- " Gina... If you lead the way, we can leave now. The rest of us would manage the war till then"

Gina nodded her head side to side denoting a no. She said-" We cannot be there. We would be alive to walk upon the hellfire."

"Then how are we supposed to get the sword?" Priam asked almost confused.

Gina looked a bit uneasy before she spoke-" Well... there are only two people that can walk on the hellfire without getting affected"

We all waited patiently to hear the names that can save us all. Somehow I was getting a bad feeling about the names she was going to take. Still holding on to my breath I waited.

"A chi, who was inherited the most powerful aura and magical self and the one who couldn't die from fire"

Witches can be killed by fire, so it was obvious that no one from us could walk inside the hellfire to the Hellgate. The first one she said was me. I was determined by that. But the next name was still a mystery to me.

"The one who wouldn't die by fire? Gina... witches get affected by the fire" John said while walking a little in front. Priam holds his breath as I can feel his muscles tense each minute.

" A vampire"

"You got to be kidding me, Gina..." Priam roared. " She is not going anywhere along with him" he ordered in his most commanded tone.

Gina said while looking absolutely less affected by his growl-" King Priam, You must fulfil the duty of a kIng. Right now, the only one who could help us is him. He will not get affected by the hellfire where we will. And that is the only way where Shawna can bring the weapon to us"

"Well... I am still not convinced. I would die till the last breath in this war but I wouldn't allow my wife to walk down along with him. We cannot trust Venom. The one who killed her father in front of her"

Priam was not at all ready to let me go along with Felix. I can understand his concern. I was not even fully comfortable going along with him. But looking at the fact what he has done for me after had made me think twice.

Felix slowly walked towards me as he said-" Shawna... I will go with you. I will protect you till the last breath"

"Back off before I put my Forbidden sword within your cold heart"

Both of them were staring at each other fiercely.

Felix broke the gaze as he said in his soft voice-" Regardless of what I have done to your father, I still love you. I was bounded to her in a deep debt that I had to pay off. Thus I had to kill Jonny. But know that I want to help you. I want to do anything that will let me wash off my sins. I want to show you my sincerity"

I didn't know what to answer him. Is he even worth of forgiveness he is asking for?

"Oh yeah... Show us how much you wanted to help us" Junnie said while she blew something in him by air.

All of a sudden we can hear Felix's scream across the hall. Priam and Junnie smirked at his wince.

"Vervain!!". Felix gasped in the air, as he tried to control the affected area in his face. His face had all the red patched effects from the herb Junnie just used on him,

Soon his healing power came forth as he gained back his torn skin. Felix was not happy with what Junnie did to him. His eyes turned red as his fangs showed up. His long nails dug out of his fingernails and he was ready to ponder.

"Prohibere"- Junnie cast the spell as he freezes in his spot.

Junnie smiled in victory. Junnie was a strong elemental witch that was equal to my powers almost. But she still lacked the " Chi" Part.

She looked at Priam and said-" What? He said he wanted to help... So he is the only one I can try this herb on. It is for the war" She said casually ignoring the fact that Felix was practically killed her by his eye.

"Dimittas"- I cast to free him. She pouted to show a little annoyance but I said quickly to avoid more issues-" I will go".

Priam growled in anger as he looked intensely at him. I 'shh'-ed him in a low whisper by rubbing the back of his hand. " Shhh, baby... Calm down. It is going to be just fine. Don't you trust me?"

He frowned as he took my face in his large palms and said while looking deep into my eyes-" I trust you. With all that I have. I do not want to run the mistake twice what I did these years. This has only made us kept away from each other. I would dare to do that again"

I touched his hands that rested in my face. I can feel how deeply each word he meant to me. " Then why are you so afraid"

" I-I am afraid of losing you once again. I cannot afford it. The years I have lost while hating you finally made me realise how wrong I was to understand my own feelings. I never hated you. I never could. It was all the emotions that I couldn't hold on to. I was so madly in love with you. It took me years to understand. An I am not ready to lose you at any cost this time."

He rested his forehead on mine. Tears were falling down his beautiful eyes down to his cheeks.

"You would not lose me this time Priam. I will make sure of it. I promise I will come back safe along with our child. You have no idea how much I love you. all these years I have only waited for you. There is no one and nobody ever will be able to take the place You have in my heart until I am breathing. I promise I will save our people and this world. I will come back home. To you"

Gladly I took his fluffy lips on mine, as we kissed the oblivion.

The plan was set. Gina will open the portal to the Hellgate, where Felix and I had to walk in upon the hellfire. Though a fire would not affect Felix as he is a vampire, I was still a witch. Gin said it would hurt me, but my powers would protect me from the lethal damage.

We got the news that Aya's army was taking over ours. We needed to be out there to protect our people. Junnie brought the Vervain that will lose the vampires' abilities to a certain time. It was her brilliant idea. But to our cause, we would be at least not fighting like a weak. The soldiers will be equal by now. As we and them loosing our magical abilities we would be just like a human.

It would be a fair war. Though John and Brad had the best swordman in their team that would technically bring down the ninjas if needed.

Brad and Junnie would go to help William and king Alan.

While Priam and John will go towards the Nothern side. Granny was preparing the talisman and spells to protect our soldier from the inside. They would get harmed but will not die. Queen kelnier took the responsibility to guide the woman and children to the Elfland. Jordan helped with the portal to access them.

The Forbidden sword, The Demi god's sphere and Luna Megan's strong mind will at least help to hold back the soldiers till we get back.

Ruby was still processing what is going on. She was not sure to take part in the war. But Granny gained her trust somehow. She showed her a memory of Uncle ben when he was sad after his family were gone. Ruby found it hard to accept the part that she was still a witch. But Granny did her part to convenience her to fight along with us.

Her swift moves and cunning brain of a Pirates helped the Archer team to shoot the majority of Aya's human soldiers.

"It is time. you must leave. Remember, you have one hour in your hand till it is midnight. Till then you have to come back and kill Aya while she is in the process of losing and gaining back her powers. there will be just one minute for you to find the weapon and kill her." Gina warned as she opened the portal.

I nodded and looked at Felix once before we were about to walk in. he nodded to sign he was ready. I looked at my family for the last time before I walked in. Priam was fighting with his emotions but he nodded with a forced smile.

I mouthed him-" I love you"

" I do too," He said back not letting anyone hear us.

Just our thing to feel.

I tore my gaze as Felix forwarded his hands to walk inside together. I was a little confused and held back what to do, but Gina said-" Hurry up, the clock is ticking"

I took his hand as he pulled me inside.

Aya began to chant these words before a big fire she created in the middle of the castle while she was flying in the sky.

The blood droplet came towards her as she hold it with a goblet of air. She chanted-"una, quae ad serviendum factis suis redigatur in terram. Praecipio tartari animam dimittere intra palatium. Reduc me istas animas, quarum intentio ponebatur. Libera eos in terra nomine maligni regis Luciferi." ( the one who shall be brought back to earth for the purpose of serving their deeds. I command the hellhound to release the soul that lurks within the palace. Bring me back those souls, whose purpose was set. Free them to the land by the name of the evil king Lucifer.)

The fire turned into deep orange as two light-weighted would fly within this land. She kept the two vessels filled with blood as she opened the vessels to welcome them.

Soon they touch the blood, they started forming in a human shape.

Within no time, the two ladies appeared in front of her. They greeted-

" Master..."

"Mother..."

Aya smiled at them as she welcomed them as-" Welcome back Amira and Georgia"
