SHAWNA'S POV:

We reached outside the school as we stand before the gate before entering. Ron mumbled while taking a deep breath-" Finally after So many years!!!"

He was pretty loud for us to hear. Felix asked-" We shall not waste any time more now. Let's go in"

We nodded as we sneaked inside the school. For some time I feel guilty to behave like a thief in my school. I could have discussed this with my granny and dad, but the next moment I thought it would be waste of time as they would not listen to me just for a slave. I know how does it feel to work forcefully under someone as I have seen my mother work and give up her life working in my uncle's home.

I couldn't do it back at that time, But I must do something for them. After all, I will be a queen soon, I must take care of my people. And they are one of them too. No one should be treated like that. They must have the freedom to see their families too. I have suffered without my family and I know how hard it could be. I feel sorry for that little girl Shyla. She is innocent and is hurting. She must go back to her parents.

I was thinking all that when we reached before professor Dunston's chamber. We stopped as Ron looked back and said-" We are here. Are you ready?"

I looked at Felix once before nodding my head and heading inside the chamber. Professor Dunston's chamber was full of books and papers. It was a long time since I am coming back here. There was a big seated swivel chair. The desks are full of notes and small glass bottles of magical potions. Also, the room was not much tidy giving us an absolute vibe of an old professor's den.

Soon Ron exclaimed in joy-" Found it"

Our attention went towards him as we saw he was holding a small key in his right hand, showing it off to us. he said-" Come, We must hurry"

We nodded as we followed him. He came to a right corner of the chamber as he was moving his hands on the wall as if he was searching for something. We were standing behind him as I looked up towards Felix who was standing there calmly. How can he just stand there calmly as my heart was beating crazily in fear? I looked back several times to make sure nobody was coming. It was the first time I felt somewhat scared and guilty despite knowing that I am doing this to help others.

Finally, after some time, Ron whispered in a low tone-" Found it"

I looked back and saw them opening a gate with the key we just found some time back. They entered the secret chamber with the stairs which just opened from a freaking wall!!! Well, I have faced a lot more, so it didn't wonder me much. But I was still unaware of several secrets of this WitchLands.

I followed them as after some time we reached the center. I looked in amazement towards my surroundings which were magnificent secret chambers. The chamber was quite big enough like it would fit the whole school at once. As far as my eyes go, it is filled with blue dim lights and trees and fireflies. The whole place is magical giving me goosebumps.

Ron walked towards a giant tree and looked before it as he said-" It's here"

We walked towards him and saw a small tomb. Something was written in an unknown language as he translated to me-" The tomb of Lily"

I raised my eyebrows as I couldn't believe it, it is the tomb of our First Witch Lily. The one who created this world. I saw just before the tomb, a magical book is flying from above the ground. I looked at them as Felix said-" yes, It is the book of Elis"

I turned back as I took a deep breath before forwarding my hand to take the book.

But to my surprise, a sudden shock held my hand as I fell away a little far from the place. I sat up as I groaned a little in pain. I look at my hands which were a little burnt. I was confused still looking like a dumb. Felix came towards me quickly as he grabbed my hands and asked in a worried tone-" Shawna? Are you okay?"

I nodded as he saw the wound in my hand and slowly caress my hand and blew it softly. His eyes become worried as he saw the wound is deep and I am hissing in pain. He turned around towards Ron and asked-" What went wrong? She is hurt. We should..."

Ron cut him off saying-" It must be due to the high frequency of the deep magic that she is still not capable of handling. She must do it with the help of the wand."

Felix stood up as he walked towards Ron and said-" Can't you see... she is hurt. how can she... What if...?

Ron looked at him with a straight face and said-" It's her fate. She is the only one who can do it. Don't forget why we are here." He looked at me while he came towards me. He bend down on his knees to my level as he said-" I know you are a strong woman. We believe in you. Try again with the wand. I am sure you can do it"

Felix was standing there hanging his head low as he is angry with Ron's behavior. But he knows he is right. This is their last option. He said-" fine, This time I will help her too"

Ron said while looking at him-" there's no need, Only her powers can unlock it"

Felix frowned as he stood there. I stood up. My hands were still paining as I hissed a little. I took a deep breath and said-" Yes I can do it"

I closed my eyes as I summoned the golden wand. After some time when I opened my eyes, I saw it in front of me. Without wasting any more time I grabbed the wand and yelled in a low tone-" Aperta "

This time the magic worked as the shield opened from the book allowing me to grab the book"

"I made it"- I exclaimed in joy. I was happy like a little kid who accomplished a mission. I sighed as I finally smiled to remember... This is the time where I must fulfill my duties, overcoming all those obstacles, I must protect my country... My land... My people. As soon as I held the book in my hands, the greed of knowing more had born within me. I was feeling astonished with these feelings!!! But I wanted more... I looked at them with my shining eyes.

Felix smiled at me while Ron nodded his head. Suddenly we heard someone's footsteps above the chamber as we got a little scared.

I asked-" How shall we go from here?"

Ron asked-" Open the portal towards the gate of the school. Now"

I nodded and did as he asked-" Ad Portam"

Within no time we ported outside the school gate. I looked at Ron and Felix and said-" You guys go now. I will read this book and once I know the way I will call you"

They nodded as Ron said before leaving-" We trust you, princess. But don't be too late"

He left as Felix and I stood there looking at each other. His eyes fall again towards my hands as he asked with a concerned voice-" Is it hurting too much?"

I looked down and said-" No, I am okay now"

" You should treat the wound first"- he said in a low tone. I nodded and said-" I will. Now let's get back to our rooms before anyone finds out. I will meet you tomorrow"

He nodded slowly and we came to our room. I kept the book on my shelves hidden carefully as I fell on the bed carelessly being tired of all day. I sank into the fluffy comfortable bed as it didn't take any longer for me to fall asleep.

NEXT DAY. 17TH OCTOBER 2012.

I woke up the next day with a loud noise banging my door. I was surprised who it would be at this early hour? It was a holiday today. I frowned as I lazily woke up from my bed and walked towards the door. I opened the door with my half sleepy eyes as I immediately opened my eyes as soon as I saw Junnie standing at my door.

She made her way towards my room as she sat on a chair and her eyes were searching for something. She asked after some time as she failed to find the thing-" Did you guys find the book?"

I quickly closed the door and walked towards her. I took the book from my selves and handed her over. Her eyes were shocked as she exclaimed in excitement-" is it the book of Elis?"

I nodded in yes as I sat beside her and we started looking inside the book. There were so many things that were written in Latin. She started to read slowly translating to me as I sat beside her listening to her.

Junnie started translating-" The secret of Witchlands were lies in the soul of one true witch"

" The lands must be bounded with love and trust by the kings to live a truce in between lands"

The orders must be followed as denoted in the rules for this WitchLands and every citizen must obey"

A true King. and queen must live for his people and serve his lands as his mother and child. The truce between the three countries shall always be maintained by the heir of Golden wand. The forbidden sword and the Just King."

We read carefully knowing so many secrets of the Witchlands to where we finally came to know as junnie said-" the tree of Oden and the Book of Elis is the barrier between the lands. That is protecting both worlds. No one must be removed in any order break the truce."

We looked at each other as we both frowned and she continued-" Only the true heir of golden wand shall possess the inevitable powers of a true which. The powers that were greater than anyone and shall have the power to control the world. The bloodline of the true heir of the golden wand must be born after every 100 years to make the truce between worlds."

"The forbidden sword must take the sacrifice of the master's blood each time for grating a wish to maintain the balance in nature."

"The barrier if broken shall only be restored by a pure bloodline and a true king/ queen's sacrifice "

" A true witch's sacrifice will make this land as one, as the one who performed sacrifice should be gaining the absolute power of the dark magic."

We looked at each other as we now know what my sacrifice means to Georgia. She read further-" The only one who could stop this is the bloodline of Lilly. She must do just and save these lands. The powers which will be entitled to her will be inevitable."

We continued to read as we found a page about the prophecy of the Lost princess too. I now know my blood is the only key to the gate of hell, also I am the only one who can control this power.

She turned to the next page where it was written-" To bring out the absolute power of the golden one, the true heir must bond and sacrifice its blood to pair up the wand, accepting the wand as its one soul. The powers after he/she will receive is the full powers of the golden wand-making one invincible at all times"

Junnie said-" You have to bond with the Wand to bring your full power"

I nodded ask I said-" I must tell to Felix once before I do this. He must know the rituals"

Junnie closed the book and said-" Don't you think we must tell this once to Queen Harney before we proceed?"

I stood up as I took the book from her hands and walked towards the shelf and said-" They won't be helping us Junnie. They are the cause of their pain. they know how much those people suffer and they did not choose to help them. What must I do?"

We were talking when we heard a knock as we both looked at each other before I walked towards the door to open. My eyes turned wide as I saw Praim is standing at the door. What is he doing here? Did he hear us? No..., He must not have... I am overreacting. I cleared my throat and made a straight face as I asked-" You? What are you doing here?"

He looked at me with his concerned eyes and asked-" Are you all right? Where have you been yesterday? I was looking for you, Shawna!!! Roderick saw you leaving the school with Felix in the evening. Where have you two been? Are you hiding things from us? What is going on?"

I stood there with a poker face as he continued questioning me with one go. I said at last-" calm down okay. I am fine. I-I was just hanging out with him Since you were too busy with Jenifer nowadays"

I walked away as he entered my room. He ignored Junnie as he asked me-" I am busy? Really? I took a day off for you. and you just..."

He sighed as I looked at him. My heart pained looking at his sad face. How bad I want to tell him everything, I want to ask him to be there by my side, to hug him and be in his embrace. But I knew he would deny all of that.

I managed to force a smile and said-" You must be busy in your training right. You must leave now, as Junnie and I will be spending some time"

He looked at me in disbelief as he looked at Junnie once more before turning around and leaving the room.

After he left. I sighed as tears started to run down from my eyes unknowingly. I know I have hurt him and I am sorry for that. But I have no options left. This is important for me too as much as I want to help Felix and them, I need to know my powers too. That will be the only way to be the strongest and shall be able to clear my mother's name. She was a slave too, I must help them so that they can live a peaceful life, unlike my mother who had always suffered. And I shall bring this to Granny to make her belief in her letters that she was innocent.
