Paragon Of Death

This is the story of a youth who attained peak strength in all three cultivation pathways: soul, energy, and body, due to a one-of-a-kind event that gave him the talent to cultivate them when he was twenty years old.   All of this occurred in a universe ruled by God. But after that unique event, he traveled to another universe with his own harem.   But does everything proceed as planned?   This is the tale of a transmigrated youth who wanted power. Not for godhood nor immortality.   He'd do all in his power to become Death itself!   === Notice: This is the first novel of mine, the second one is [Rise Of The Nefarious Devil]. The maim point for these is that this novel would be around seeking questions about what death is, while the other novel about what good and evil is.

12- Regions of the forest, Katrina's feelings.

-

"Okay, Katrina. We've already squandered enough time. Let's get out of here; we're wasting our time staying here." Adel stated solemnly, since he needed to make the most of his journey to the Residence Of Beasts, raising the step of his energy cultivation system...

He then pulled his hand off her shoulder and followed Katrin to the end of the tunnel...

-

Adel and Katrina began to make their way inside with the many other disciples who had joined them.

After all, it was a residence that could be entered by any disciple, from outer to seed rank, with enough clan points.

Katrina began talking to Adel, transforming her voice into energy and sending it directly into his ear, making him the only one who could hear what she was saying: "Right, I forgot to tell you this.

All three tunnels (the first, second, and third steps of the beasts' tunnels) comprise three regions:

The three regions are the outer area, the inner region, and the core region, with early stage first step beasts in the outer region, mid stage on the inner region, and high stage on the core region.

However, for the time being, the situation appears to be chaotic as a result of the incident that seemed to be taking place.

So there may even be high stage beasts on the outskirts if they followed the cultivator who had angered them and given their life for it."

The voice then stopped, causing Adel to gaze at her for a second and nod his head.

-

After one hour,

Adel and Katrina arrived to the end of the tunnel that connected the three zones.

Adel gave Katrina a serious look, and she nodded her head in agreement before stating, "Don't worry, if anything happens, I'm here to defend you."

Adel stated it nonchalantly, unaware of the impact his words would have on her.

Katrina reddened, her mind racing, before nodding seriously in answer.

Adel had no idea she was stronger than the current him, but it was only for her soul cultivation system.

She could utilize soul spells, but she required the spells to begin with.

Soul cultivators were incredibly rare, as were the soul spells utilized by them.

She did, however, have certain spells that she could employ that were handed to her by the woman who was teaching her in her dreams.

-

Adel, on the other hand, could fight two stages above him if he used all of the fighting experience his present body possessed, while a full step above if he employed some other methods.

Due to her youth and inexperience, Katrina could only battle a stage above her.

But she would win nevertheless, for she was in the early stages of the second step of soul cultivation, whereas the monsters in all of these regions were at best in the late stages of the first...

Even if she had faced numerous beasts or genuine opponents, she wouldn't have had the same experience as Adel, who had fought countless experts for over 60 years...

That would be for her body, of course, if she couldn't cast soul spells.

He could fight two stages above him, but his present body wasn't acclimated to the horrific fighting experience his soul carried, therefore it kept him from unleashing his full might.

But, aside from cultivating beast energies, the second reason he came here was to apply his soul's fighting experience to his present body and sharpen it in actual conflicts.

Even if he still had to battle real human opponents rather than beasts, it would be a huge help to the present him.

Besides, he could use soul spells to fight powerful enemies he couldn't battle at his current state. But even that had a limit...

-

As they entered, they were welcomed by a massive forest that seemed almost unending, with shadows all over the place.

Its roots spread from the ground to dozens of trees, each with coiling vines clinging to it.

A variety of flowers were visible beside the trees, giving the picture in front of them the illusion of a mix of dark and bright.

A disturbance of wild noises, generated by a horde of creatures following several disciples, brought life to the forest but was out of rhythm with the onslaught of sounds coming from a cascade in the distance.

It was truly a mixture of light, as in the exquisite sight of cascade and flowers, and darkness, as in the gloomy vine the trees were providing him...

As they wandered inside, the other disciples stared at each other as though in unspoken understanding, causing no one to fight.

-

Katrina, on the other hand, was both delighted and apprehensive.

Then again, it was the second time she would be walking into a forest with Adel after he had saved her in the last event, which reminded her of the moment she had fallen for him...

A faint blush appeared on her cheeks as she remembered Adel rescuing her from that beast back then, despite his mortal power...

She considered it strange that he could battle it as a mere mortal in the first place, but she didn't think much of it every time she did so...

She remembered how one of her junior disciples explained what a "date" was and how it might help her relationship with Adel grow...

She then remembered her last contact with Adel, feeling his delicate hands against her breasts and wondering whether he would ever consciously touch her twin peaks again...

She flushed even more as she shook her head rapidly, thinking, 'No! What was I thinking? 'Have I turned into a pervert?'

She then looked to see if Adel was staring at her, before exhaling a breath of relief when she saw him checking the forest around...

-

Adel would be speechless if he knew what she was thinking. He wouldn't anticipate his unintentional move to turn her into a pervert....

What he was doing currently, was staring in a specific direction because he felt the door in his mind waver little everytime he looked over there...

It made him gasp, wondering what kind of treasure could make something as powerful as his mind's door shake...
