Second Chance

 Kiara woke up from her unconscious state by slowly opening her eyelids. As soon as her eyes came in contact with the white ceiling, she had tears of joy. 

 As she regained her consciousness, there were her brothers, her father, her grandfather surrounding her in the hospital. Seeing all of them alive, she cried even harder. Seeing her crying harder, her family panicked for a second on what happened. 

 Being surrounded by the care of her loved ones was the biggest gift she could have ever asked from god after having her second chance. She choose to silently thank the almighty for his favor over her and her family. Gradually she took in her surroundings and slowly but unsteadily called out everyone. 

 " Grandpa, Father, Big brother, Second brother, Third brother " Kiara choked on her voice. Seeing all of them doing fine in front of her, she was relieved. At least in this life she can make everything right, in this life she can live happily.

 " Kia, are you fine baby? " asked her Grandpa. Her father and her brothers were anxious around her and were focused on her at that moment. 

 Kiara shook her head slowly and said " No Grandpa, I am aching all over. What happened to me? " Hearing her say this all of them around her had a heartache.

 This was the time Kiara slowly took in her surroundings and the people around her. She was back as a 16 year old teenager. Her leg had been fractured and was plastered along with many tiny bruises on her arms. Her forehead was covered with a bandage. And her head was terribly aching. 

 It was the time around her accident when her Uncle's family had said that Lia was the one who saved her, and schemed against them into adopting her. And from this point of time was the downfall of her family had started. Now that she had come all over again, she had to prevent this. 

 Her father, James Miller slowly patted her hair and said " You had a accident when you were coming from your university. I am really sorry for failing to take care of you, baby. " 

 Seeing her father's red eyes, she said " Father, you didn't know any of this would happen. Please don't blame yourself. If you do, I will be angry over you. " She pouted saying this. Her father kissed her head slowly and nodded at her saying okay. 

 Next to her father, her three brothers were anxiously standing over. She called her Big brother over and stretched her both hands in air. " Big brother, Hug. " Seeing her acting coquettishly even while being injured, Alex Miller had a look of helplessness in his eyes, he went forward and hugged her carefully not to hurt her wounds on her head. 

 Kiara who was suddenly filled with warmth had her eyes filled with tears. This was her Big brother, who shielded their family from all the troubles, who was a shadow figure who protected all of them until his last breath. She would make sure that he was well lived this time. 

 Seeing her in tears, the three brothers became anxious, Alex softly released her from his hold and asked " Baby, are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere? " Hearing his soft yet gentle voice, she smiled through her tears and said " I missed you so much. I thought that I would never be able to see all of you again."

 " Hey, did you only miss Big brother and not us? " chimed a voice which was none other than her third brother, Evan Miller. To his right side was her second brother, Nick Miller. Although her second brother did not speak much, he had loved her more than anyone else. 

 " Second brother, Third brother, Hug. " asked Kiara. Looking at her face, and how she was acting pitifully in front of the both of them, the two brothers released a soft sigh. She hugged both of them along with her Big brother. The four of them shared a group hug. 

 Grandpa Miller and James Miller watched the scene happily and finally relaxed seeing Kiara safe in front of them. Even though their hearts ached for her, until she was doing fine in front of them, they were relieved. 

 All in all, no one noticed a thin figure standing at the corner in the room with jealousy and hatred written on her face clearly. What she didn't know was that she would be the one who would go down the path destroying herself completely...
