William took a careful look at Mr. Satan.
He was tall, had a calm demeanor, and looked reliable, except for a scar on his face.
From a distance, it wasn’t noticeable, but up close, the scar stood out.
Oddly enough, this made William feel more at ease.
Emily had mentioned he never had a girlfriend before, probably because of the scar.
But a scar isn’t a disease or anything serious. As long as he treated Emily well, the scar isn't a problem.
"I heard from Emily that your last name is Norman?"
Mr. Satan nodded. "Yes, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Vincent. I started my own company. I have a father and grandmother, and a younger brother and sister."
Emily looked up at him.
Hearing this from Mr. Satan sounded a bit surreal to her.
It was like an employee reporting to their boss.
"Good, that reassures me. Emily doesn’t have much family, so it’s nice you have a big family. I don’t need to say more; you know what I mean."
Mr. Satan nodded lightly. "Yes, I understand."
