Demiurge sat inside his dilapidated temple, his brow furrowed in deep thought, clutching a parchment in his hand.
He couldn't recall how many times he had perused the parchment. Even a being as powerful as him couldn't escape exhaustion.
"The Floor Guardians are requesting an audience, Demiurge-sama," echoed the voice of the Evil Lord of Wrath from outside the temple.
'They are a little later than expected.'
"Allow them entry," Demiurge commanded.
Rising from his throne crafted from human bones, Demiurge surveyed the assembled Floor Guardians before him.
As Albedo, the Goddess of Pure White, entered first, she addressed Demiurge, "Demiurge, please clarify why you've summoned the Floor Guardians. There is no need for cryptic messages; everyone's loyalty is unquestionable here."
'Loyalty? We are indeed all loyal, but to whom? Everyone could be loyal, but not everyone could be loyal to the same thing. Even we, Floor Guardians, created by the Supreme Beings are no exception. We place our individual Creators above the Supreme One, obviously that means the degree of our loyalty is questionable. Not only that, if any one of our Creator was to appear, Nazarick might splinter into factions.'
Demiurge's heart sank with disappointment as he glanced at Albedo for a moment before shifting his gaze to the rest of the group.
Cocytus, the Glacier God, admonished Demiurge, the Demon God, with a stern tone. "Demiurge, this is unlike you. You have never shown hesitation or uncertainty in your actions before. So why hesitate now?" Cocytus pounded his halberd on the tile floor, causing ice to spread and creating a fog due to the clash of heat and cold.
Demiurge's expression hardened as he responded to Cocytus, "Ignorance may bring bliss, but if you knew what I know, you would question whether you could act without any grievances."
Demiurge shook his head inwardly before speaking, "Do you recall when the Tomb fell into darkness? Don't you find the addition of the flags peculiar?"
Sebas, the Iron Butler, also known as the Dragon God in Ainzland, responded while pondering, "Indeed, it is peculiar. Nazarick shouldn't shut down without a valid reason. Even then, only Ainz-sama should have the ability to do so."
Demiurge nodded in agreement with Sebas, adding, "Indeed, everything you say is true, Sebas. However, there is one crucial difference. Changes can happen to Nazarick if there was a powerful external force. We being here in Ainzland is a perfect example. Another example is the home of the Eight Greed Kings, which fell under the control of the Platinum Dragon Lord. With the death of the kings, the floating castle sealed itself and could not be entered, despite the key being in the Dragon Lord's hand. But even if he were to destroy the weapon, the guild may still continue to operate, as this is a new reality, we find ourselves in."
Sebas' eyes widened, realizing that Demiurge's unusual behavior towards him indicated that something was gravely amiss. Demiurge wouldn't set aside his dislike for him without a significant reason.
"What does this have to do with Nazarick?" Aura, the Beast God, interjected, puzzled by the connection between the Tomb and the Eight Greed Kings. In her eyes, the Eight Greed Kings were weak enough to be defeated by the Dragon Lords and Thirteen Heroes, so there was no need to place them in the same sentence as Nazarick.
Aura had forgotten how many Dragon Lords they had slain and turned into items. Nonetheless, she knew that the Nazarick treasury was overflowing with gold and resources, enough to sustain them for a considerable period.
Demiurge gazed at them before getting straight to the point. "Ainz-sama is deceased, and the new flag symbolizes the individual handpicked by Ainz-sama to guide us."
A heavy silence fell upon the temple and even Nazarick itself, so profound that one could hear a pin drop.
Shalltear, the Goddess of Vampires and Blood, erupted in a furious outburst. "Demiurge, how dare you utter such words?!" Her typically charming expression transformed into one of wrath, as if a primal beast was on the verge of breaking free.
Cocytus was consumed by rage, his icy blue body trembling so intensely that snow began to fall from the skies above the temple. "Demiurge, how dare you blaspheme against the Supreme Beings!" he thundered.
Albedo's voice pierced through the tension, commanding attention. "Both of you, silence! Demiurge, are you absolutely certain that Ainz-sama is deceased? And are you suggesting that our new 'Master' is responsible for this?" Her lips were bitten, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth, as she spat out the words, her rage nearly reaching its boiling point.
Undeterred by their threats, Demiurge pressed on. "Yes, I firmly believe that he is the one responsible. All the signs seem to point in that direction."
Demiurge's words hung in the air, the weight of his conviction palpable.
The silence that followed was filled with a mix of disbelief, anger, and uncertainty.
The Floor Guardians exchanged glances, their thoughts racing as they tried to process this shocking revelation.
The fate of Nazarick and their loyalty to Ainz-sama now stood on a precipice, teetering between trust and doubt.

In his giant hands, Invincible effortlessly wielded the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown, reducing it to the size of a mere toothpick.
The words of Momonga echoed in his head, "Ainz Ooal Gown knows no defeat!"
Those words filled him with an overwhelming sense of arrogance and superiority, as if they embodied the essence of the Great Dao itself.
Shaking his head, Invincible channeled his void energy, engulfing the staff and drawing it into his Void.
Upon appearing in the Void, the staff swiftly positioned itself directly above the Divine Yang Tree, prompting the tree to emit fiery rays in an attempt to attack. In response, the staff emitted a protective golden light, shielding itself from the flames before pressing down on the tree.
Glancing at the staff within his Void, Invincible forged a path out of the mountain, struggling due to his towering 30-meter-tall body. Frustrated, he resorted to punching a hole through the mountain to clear his way.
Despite having the strength to easily escape the mountain, he chose to restrain himself in order to gain control over his newfound power, limiting the amount of strength he exerted.
With no prior knowledge or encounters of anyone possessing such power, Invincible understood that gaining complete control over it would make it effortless for him to defeat opponents of much higher levels.
Despite his current level, he possessed the ability to fly without the need for any magical items.
Due to his unfamiliarity with the capabilities of his new energy, which differed from Qi, Invincible opted not to fly and instead chose to walk, exercising caution and restraint.
Qi is the manifestation of the body's strength. In the case of an Immortal King following the Body Refining path, they would train their body to its pinnacle, attaining a formidable immortal physique.
At the Immortal Emperor Realm, practitioners would concentrate all the blood within their body to form a single drop of immortal blood. This drop holds immense power and signifies a significant advancement in their cultivation.
The cultivation process continues until one perceives they have reached the peak. At this stage, they can condense their blood into a God Body, which essentially creates a clone possessing the same level of power as their main body. This allows for even greater mastery and versatility in their cultivation journey.
