Chapter 7

I still remember the Golden Dawn Guild being born. It has been twelve years since YGGDRASIL launched, and every great era needs to come to an end eventually. The DEV already announced the notice of the server's closing last night, and the server will close in a month.

Golden Dawn Guild is the only guild from the first generation of guilds that still survives the peak day of YGGDRASIL. Many of the first-generation guilds, the ones created from the first year of the game, get abandoned by the players because they cannot grow their guilds.

Golden Dawn's headquarters is the dungeon we conqueror to help me in my quest, which leads us to the deepest location in Vanaheim. The reward from this chain quest is a racial job of one of the strongest holy-type DPS and Support in the entire game.

I opened my status and smiled a little at the sight before me.

My build is pure support and combines it with my ridiculous stats from completing the last dungeon in the entire realm. My stats are above sixty, with two exceeding the limit, and two (excluding the two exceeding limit stats) are above eighty.

It is great stats, but sadly, it did not win me the competition in the World Champion challenge event to get the job as World Champion in the past. Even with all the stats, I am still a support man and cannot out-damage the enemy that specializes in damage and speed.

However, even though I am bad at PVP, I am a master of PVE. Not only that, but I am also great at killing other players on the field. The dev will lock or limit certain skills and spells in the official battle, and I cannot go all out.

There is a reason why I take [Summoner] as my second job from mage instead of other DPS mage jobs. I am not alone when I am fighting. I will make sure to attack you using all my summoned creatures.

I shake my head and get off my throne, which is a World Item given to us after beating this seemingly impossible dungeon on the first try. It is one of the two World Items given to us from beating the dungeon. The other one is the trump card that helps us defend against more than one thousand attackers consisting of players and mercenary NPCs.

Because of this, World Items defeated the invader before we completed the guild base.

I walk out of the throne room and look around the tenth floor of the guild base. There are twelve floors in my guild base. Ten of them are shown, while the last two are hidden. This floor, the tenth floor, is the throne room and the last bastion against the invader.

There are no traps on this floor, but many debuffing magic circles will attack the enemies who come through the door to this floor. The throne, [Sit of the Heavenly Celestial], will also boost any debuff cast in the area around it by two times, making the debuffing magic circle more effective.

Of course, there are more magic circles that will summon mobs around the floor. While they are not great mobs, they are valuable to give even more debuff to any invader. We will not give the invader a good time on this floor.

This floor is where we will do our last stand, and the entrance to the hidden floor is located.

"Hello, Michael, Gabriel."

I look at two angels in front of the throne. They are the two angels who guard this floor.

Michael's appearance is that of a young man with white hair and two different eye colors. The left one is blue and golden for the right one. He has wings coming out of his head and wrist. He is a white robe and holding a harp. Michael is the buffer and DPS NPC that I created with the help of others. He is the one who makes sure my MP never goes down beyond fifty percent and causes negative status effects to enemies. He is a level one hundred NPC.

Gabriel's appearance is of a young woman with white hair. A blindfold covers her eyes, but I know she has a pair of beautiful golden eyes. I made her, after all. Gabriel wears light armor and holds a scale and a long sword in her hands. If Michael is a buffer with the side of DPS, Gabriel is DPS with the side of Tanking. She is a level one hundred NPC.

I walk toward a regular-looking wall to the left. I tap the wall in a certain way, and suddenly, a door appears on the wall. I open the door, and suddenly, a massive farm appears before me. This is the eleventh floor, the floor that I bought using real money to add more floors for us.

This floor is called the 'Great Farm' and is filled with many plants for Bamboo and one more alchemist member. They are happy when I say that I want to create a farm using the Cash Item. I also buy other cash items that increase NPC Data Storage to six thousand, which is double the previous amount, to accommodate the new floors.

I shake my head and walk inside the farm. The farm is massive, and there are many hidden guardian NPC that protect the farm in case any enemies manage to get inside the room. As I walk deeper, I can see the floor guardian sitting underneath the massive tree.

She is Gaia, the guardian of the Great Farm.

She is a dryad with green skin, green hair, and green eyes. She is wearing what looks like wooden armor and holding a staff that glows green. She is a great fighter with a balanced way of fighting. She can fight in close combat and fight from afar. Not only that, but she can also heal and give buffs. She is a level one hundred NPC.

Overall, she is a great fighter. She is not the best but she can stand her ground against multiple enemies.

After checking the eleventh floor, I left the floor and saw the door disappear into a normal-looking door.

I walk toward the right side of the wall and tap the wall with a different rhythm than the one on the left. A second later, another door appeared in front of me, and I arrived in front of a giant door vault. This is the treasury.

As I walk inside the room, I can see a small little girl sitting on a chair while sipping some tea. She is wearing a dress in black and purple with a hint of blue. She has white purplish hair and pinkish-purple eyes. There is a black bunny plush sitting in front of her. Her name is Alice, and she is the guardian of the Treasury.

She is one of the trickiest NPC to fight against because she is the Queen of Debuff and Buff. She is hard to kill and will make anyone frustrated when fighting against her.

Seeing nothing was wrong with the treasury, I patted Alice's head and left the floor. The reason why I created a new floor is because there are too many goodies in the treasury. A guild full of Loot Goblin will lead you to that. Even the lowest items are inside the treasury because the others and I did not want to throw away any items we had in our inventory.

I shake my head and am about to teleport to another level, but I can see someone calling me before I can do that. I switch the screen and see that it is one of the YGGDRASIL Devs. I pick up the call and say.

"Yo! Will you guys do it?"

"Sadly, no." He says. "At least not fully. However, we are willing to create some changes."

"Oh? Tell me"

"The boss did not want you to destroy all the remaining guild base even when the server was about to close. However, we are willing to give you a chance to get an unlimited level cap."

"Great! How to get this perk?"

"Beat all the last dungeons in the Nine Realms. That is one of the few things that we regret that not many people are willing to do. Even after twelve years online, only your guild manages to conquer the last guild on the first try."

"And a lot of money. Don't forget that. I spend a lot of money to buy the goods to revive us without penalty and on the spot."

Without me looking at him, I can already see him look at me sheepishly.

"Right. We might have been too eager to create the dungeons and put too many things to be easily conquered."

"Of course you are. Anyway, I cannot defeat all of this alone, you know? I need twenty other players to beat one."

"And that is why I let all NPC you created fight alongside you in a dungeon. Buy a scroll in the shop for a hundred yen; it will let you summon all your NPC while inside the dungeon. It can even let you set how they fight. It is not as great as real humans, but good enough."

"Right. Thank you."

"After you are done with all the dungeons, you will get a job that lets you take more jobs but no racial jobs."

"Gocha."

"Happy hunting, and thank you for playing our game."

After that call, I thought for a second and decided to test my luck by sending a message to all my guild members asking for one last grand campaign.
