Without any hesitation, Jacob then jumped into the underground river. He popped his head up and said, "This underground river has to flow out. So I don't even need to use the ancient tomb's entrance to get out of here. They want to kill me, right? Well, they can dream on!"
With that, Jacob dived to the bottom of the river and disappeared.
When Sebastian saw that, he narrowed his greed-filled eyes. Who would've thought he had already figured out a way out of here?
"Let's go." Sebastian left with the hunched-back old man.
Harrison and the others also left by the way they came.
Meanwhile, Jacob swam along the underground river for a long time before surfacing.
At the moment, Jacob had resurfaced in a pool at the foot of the mountain. After he got out of the water, the golden light enveloping his body faded, and his clothes were still dry.
