Acceptance & Retaliation
Rizz wagged his finger like a slow metronome.
With his leg atop the backrest, he tilted the chair backward. It landed with a thud while the goblin walked out of landing, never missing a beat. His trademark smirk was pointed back at Lobur's obstinate expression.
"You can't join our hunting party cause we're not a little hunting party," remarked Rizz.
"We're much bigger than that. We're an adventuring party. And, if you're willing to accept this weak, little gobby as your party leader… there's still an open chair."
"Thank you, Boss!"
Lobur's resounding resolve added more fuel to each spectator's fire.
In a strange turn of events, the entire tavern cemented that unusual group into their memories. From the foreign cheetahkin and the stray wolfkin to the letdown boarkin and the weak goblin. Somehow, in spite of their awkward entrance into the tavern, that group of peculiar people only grew more stable with each judging glance.
"HEY?!"
