The Competition

Lana's POV

I sigh quietly, hiding underneath the playground with Izzy. "Where's Jade," I ask. Izzy motions her head to the desk. We look at y/n. She/he looks so calm.

"There you two are," a voice laughs. We look to the side and we see Mr.Sun.

Mr.Sun's POV

"I was looking all over for you! Thankfully, Klyde saw you two sneaking under here. Otherwise we would have never found you!" "He will be the cause of our demise," Lana murmurs. Izzy gives Lana a confused look. "Do you even know what that means," she asks in a whisper.

"No. I don't. But it just sounded right," Lana replies. "Demise is bad," I point out. "And so is Klyde," Lana grumbles. "Pfft, no he's not," I scoff. There is an awkward silence between us all.

"Uhh, I have glitter glue...," I say, hesitantly, "and...crayons." This makes Izzy perk a little. Works like a charm! ...Well I guess maybe it doesn't for Lana. I kneel down and hold my arms out towards Lana.

But she doesn't come. I don't understand. I listened to y/n. I took her/his advice. Was there something that she/he may have forgotten to tell me?

"Come here, Lana," I say, quietly. Lana glares. Oh wait, she's autistic! Just like y/n! I drop my arms down.

"So...do you like building blocks? Uhh, I have googly eyes! What about stuffed animals? Don't you like stuffed animals?" "Stuffy," Lana exclaims. "Stuffy? A-are you feeling stuffy? Oh dear...That's not good at all," I panicked. "Hi, Mr.Sun!" Huh?

I turn around, and there's Klyde. "Hi Klyde!"

Klyde's POV

I looked past Mr.Sun. "Hi Lana. Do you wanna play with stuffed animals with me," I asked. Mr.Sun looked back and forth between us. "I guess....," Lana murmured. I made a smirk at Mr.Sun. I became friends with Lana before you did Mr.Sun!

Mr.Sun's POV

Please don't tell me you're making this a competition....

Klyde's POV

First one to become BEST friends with Lana, Izzy, and Jade is the winner.

Mr.Sun's POV

If that's so, that puts y/n in first place, Klyde in second, and me in last. I watch as Lana follows Klyde over to an area with stuffed animals. I then look at Izzy. "Come on, little Izzy! We're going to have so much fun together! Drawing with crayons, and playing with glitter glue!" I sit at one of the tables with Izzy.

Izzy's POV

I draw with the crayons. He's playing with the glitter glue... I'm cold. I look up. There's a vent. Why do I do this to myself?

Y/N's POV

I've learned quite a lot about Jade. And she really loves cats. We even drew cats with each other. I look at the time. Story Time.

I go to find Sunny. Jade is following me. "Look," she exclaims, "there's Izzy! And Mr.Sun!" I slightly smile. "Good eye, Jade."

We go to Sunny and Izzy, and I tap on Sunny's shoulder. Sunny looks at me. "It's 9 o'clock," I point out. Izzy starts swaying. I'm guessing that she must be excited for story time.
