A round object kept on bouncing from time to time in front of Kale. Actually, he already knows this monster, it's one of the most common one in the wild and probably the easiest target too?

It's a Slime.

Round blueish blob bouncing around from one place to another. It doesn't have fangs or claws. Just that soft and gel like body that keeps on moving around restlessly.

At first he was worried of not being able to see in the dark. But then he found out that Analyze comes with a special function that can easily combine with map.

Basically it is your otherworld version of VR technology. Only in this one, you don't have to wear anything and whatever he see is real.

Yeah. Like back on earth, you can simulate falling from the sky. With [Interface]...he too can do it. Just that when he reach the ground it go off...

Kale, out of curiosity, used [Analyze] on the slime in front of him.

A typical slime species. It is considered as the most common type of monster in Aeon. Once a slime reach a certain degree of magic saturation it will automatically clone itself. The only way to distinguish each slime from one another is to see its personal attributes. Can be easily tamed.

"Having a tamed monster can be a great thing but a slime...?"

"Shooo!!! Get going...I don't have anything to interest you little guy..."

While Kale was busy thinking, one particular slime was jumping around him happily. At first he thought if it was an idiot but then he thought about it...it's a slime, what level of intelligence should he expect from it.

This charade went on and on as he walked towards the inner parts of the cave. A slime and a human walking side by side...

"hmmm...This guy is so persistent. Wait..."

(immediately bring up Interface)

(searches for something within the screen...)

"Yeah...there was that thing. I remember that robotic voice earlier told me that Interface can do this..."

Of course, that robotic voice was from the activation of tutorial earlier. Although Kale hasn't heard a thing from it since then, it did leave him with lots of basic information. One of which is the functions of [Interface].

"Okay...so its like this...then you do that...it should be up--....."

"That was a lot of apprentice jobs. And look....not a single regular job...all tier 1s..."

Kale looked amazed and a bit disappointed. He was amaze for the sheer amount of jobs available to him. At first, tutorial guy only told him that as long as he has potential for that type of job, he can find it in his [Job Selection] options. There were tens of it and probably even more than a hundred if he truly count them. The only downside is that all of them are apprentice level jobs.

*sighs

"But this is a good thing...not to mention I have a wide variety of choices, I can even pick 3 at a time! hahahaha!"

Tutorial Guide left him a lot of informations. One of which is that in this world, people can have multiple jobs depending on their status level. For example, a person who has a status level of 2 can have 2 jobs at the same time. Someone with a status level of 5 or 6 can have 5 and 6 jobs respectively. Quite convenient and accomodating. The only issue with this is how to reach that level. Most people would usually be at 4. Only elites and nobles would usually be a 5 or 6. Most 7 are monarch figures....atleast that is how the trend has been for thousands of years now.

For Kale however, this isn't a problem. Unbeknownst to the populace, status level can actually be raised artificially. This is also one of the secrets of the people in power. It is just that the method is quite tiresome and needs a lot of materials. One of the orthodox materials needed is a certain drop from the World Tree. So foe the ordinary people, these can be almost impossible. For starters, the World Tree is in Utarrk...from Galanthea...that is a different continent at all. Rumors has it that the World Tree is guarded by legions of Elven Warriors. Plus, before you can even get to the Elven Territory...one has to pass the Demon Territory. And yes, those Demons are also guarding the World Tree.

Apprentice Tamers is a job given to individuals that possess a good rapport with monsters and beasts. This is an entry level job that is required in order to gain the "Tamer" job. At this level, any monster or beast of Class G - F can be tamed with varying success depending on the individual level of the target compared to the tamers own proficiency and level. This is a Support-type job.

Apprentice Warrior is given to any individual that desire to fight. This is a versatile job that is a common requisite to other jobs such as Swordsman, Thief, Samurai, Archer..etc. Warriors don't have any job specific weapon. Instead, warriors can wield anything as a weapon. This is a Assault-type job.

Apprentice Scout is a job given to individuals with discerning eyes and keen senses. It is a requisite to the "Scout" job. It is a flexible job that focus on scouting and trapping skills. It is a Hybrid-type job.
