Justice

Niko slowly walked towards Riynsu. Reaching behind him, Niko took out two daggers. Niko then flashed just above Riynsu, pointing one of his blades down. Riynsu, using the blade of his spear, blocked the dagger.

Although, Niko's second dagger drew near him. Quickly, Riynsu got out of the way. Riynsu then looked at the A-ranker as they twirled their two daggers between their fingers.

Then, Riynsu swung his spear at Niko, who blocked it with both of his daggers in a cross. Using the skill, <<Rapid Strikes>>, Riynsu attacked with lightning speed. However, Niko still managed to block all attacks that came his way. Sparks flew off the collision between the daggers and spear. Niko even managed to parry all eleven spearhead with his speed.

When the barrage of attacks stopped, Niko responded with his own speeding move as he then bombarded Riynsu with swipes of his dagger. Fortunately, Riynsu also managed to block all of Niko's stabbings. The both of them started to clash and fight at superspeed.

Ayumi, who was just there watching, had looked at the two and was in disbelief at how fast they were going.

'This is insane! How are they moving so fast? Isn't Riynsu just a C-rank? It's almost as if...'

They both stopped and got away from each other a few metres apart.

'We're matched in speed.' the both of them thought.

Riynsu pointed his spear towards Niko, glaring.

"Tell me... Why did you do it?" He asked.

Niko raised an eyebrow. "Huh? Do what?"

"What do you think?! Why did you kill all those people?" he replied, a little pissed.

Niko then stood up straight. "Oh... You mean those fools. Well, me and my buddy were A-ranks. We had strength but barely money or fame to our name. There are so many A-ranks around the world, and without a famous guild or connection, we had no fame. No guild would recruit us, saying that we were too hostile, untrustworthy or asked for too much money. So many excuses... So then we gave up. We decided that we'd make money on our own by taking it from others. Just offer lots of money for a mid-ranking gate, and loads of wealthy hunters trying to become stronger will come rolling in. You should have seen their faces when begging for their life offering anything! Arata and I had some fun when three sexy girls offered up their bodies. AND WE KILLED THEM ANYWAY!"

Niko then started cackling at the memory.

"And now that you've killed Arata. I'll kill you, and all of your things belong to me. That spear of yours looks good."

Riynsu started to grit his teeth, and his eyes daggered towards Niko.

"You think that just because you weren't earning money or fame, you can just abuse your strength and exploit people!!!" He said, infuriated.

[Notice!]

[An emergency quest had arrived.]

Riynsu then looked at the notification and its message.

"Heh... Would you look at that... Even the System thinks you're scum."

[! Quest Directions]

[Emergency Quest: Justice]

[There are some 'hunters' who are selfish scum. There is one of the worst in your proximity.]

[Slay them for justice.]

[If the quest is not complete, you will be deemed unjust, and your heart will stop.]

Riynsu then got in a stance, gripping his spear tightly. "Get ready... Now I've got another reason to kill you."

Riynsu and Niko then launched themselves at each other. They rushed at each other, weapons in hand, and fought, speeding around the corridor like a blur. Their weapons clashed and sparked until Riynsu managed to cut the side of Niko's left cheek. Feeling the blood drip down, Niko wiped his cheek with his thumb.

"You actually managed to cut me? There's no way you're a C-rank. So it's true..." Niko then looked at his thumb with the blood-stained all over it. "You're a reawakened hunter."

Then Niko got into a stance as a white aura emitted from his body. He then propelled himself from the ground and zipped around faster than ever before. Riynsu's eyes couldn't follow such movements. Even with his sense and agility state raised, he could barely follow, but it still helped a lot. Compared to Ayumi, who only saw blurs and flashes around the corridor. She couldn't see a thing.

Niko stopped Zooming around the place and tried to Riynsu in the back. But as if he had a sixth sense, Riynsu's body told him to look behind him. But as he turned, the tip of Niko's blade had pierced his side.

Riynsu winsted in pain meanwhile, Niko had a shit-eating grin on his face. Taking advantage, Niko repeatedly stabbed Riynsu's side with his two daggers. Feeling the blades penetrate his skin, Riynsu cried out in pain.

Using his left fist, Riynsu tried backfiring Niko, but Niko zipped out of the way. Riynsu then held his side using his right hand and tried to stop the blood from leaking out.

"Staunch."

Riynsu then let go of his side. His breath became heavy, looking for air. His eyes then narrowed towards Niko.

Both Niko and Ayumi were shocked as they saw Riynsu's blood stop leaking out from his side. Zooming to Riynsu, Niko attempted to slash Riynsu once again. However, Riynsu managed to block his blade with his spear. Because of Staunch, Riynsu was totally focused on Niko and was able to see his movements.

However, despite Riynsu being able to see his movements, his body wasn't fast enough to block the next attack as Niko managed to cut into his hand.

This then alternated between Riynsu block and dodging and getting some sort of injury. But after several seconds, the both of them stood far apart from each other. Niko, a little battered and had a couple of scrapes. While Riynsu was all bloody and bruised.

As both of them were about to attack, A blur zoomed past Riynsu as it went right into Niko, launching him into a wall. As the dust faded away, Niko was unconscious and stuck in the wall. The blur just so happened to be a tall, orange-haired man.

This man was the S-Ranker: Minoru Hoshino.

A couple of seconds later, a group came rushing in. They were all Bs and C-ranks.

"Go heal the survivors," Hoshino said.

A girl then came forward and then proceeded to heal Riynsu. After she was finished she went to Furukawa. Hoshino then explained what was happening.

"You may be asking why are we here? To answer your question, people have reported that people they know are missing and that if they were dead, it hadn't been reported. These guys have been killing hunters that didn't stand out as not to create big suspicion. But, the Japanese Hunter's Association went out investigating. And after a few weeks found this dungeon; so they asked me to help them out."

He then turned to Riynsu. "I saw you two fighting before I quickly stepped in, who are you.."

"Riynsu Kurusu. C-Rank."

Hoshino was shocked. 'He's C-rank, and he handled an A-rank all by himself.'

He then smiled and took out a card, giving it to Riynsu. "Someone like you is special. How 'bout you join our guild. Think about it and if you accept asked for me."

Riynsu then looked down at the card. It was a Card of the Draw Sword guild with an address on the back.

Later the group safely got out of the dungeon. After learning what had happened, Furukawa thanked Riynsu yet again. This time, saying he owes a debt that can't ever be repaid. They then said their goodbyes. However, as they did, Riynsu got a message from the System.
