A clue

I was currently walking fearlessly in hospital. The hospital I chose was the most popular facility which was boasted a lot in newspaper. It said this place was equipped full to teeth with advanced technology which can cure and take care both animal and human's health perfectly and its price's also cheap. Anyone can afford this price even the poor.

Now this place wasn't different from the haunted building. It only has deeply silence in this place. Glass shatter scattered all place. Blood splattered on everywhere.

The danger was obvious from the first look but of course, I didn't come here unarmed. I wore the armor with full charging of energy. I volunteered doing this for only one purpose, the record.

If I am as usual, I won't help those old couples no matter how they look pity. I'm not that bad. It's just like Takashi said. After doing this, what they will do. Survive. Probably out of my mind. Their age is old and their strength is weak. In this reformed social that only the strong survive while the weak is eliminated. This rule never changes whenever you live in which decade. And another reason is that Do they have the will to live on. From their face, I knew that they don't want to live anymore. They were aware of how burden and useless they are now due to the conversation from the rest of survivors at there.

The only way for them is military rescue. I guessed military fail at defending country but they don't go extinction very easily. There is many place that zombies are hard to attack. For example, places like ocean, space, main military base. I planned to contact them in future if I see them.

Since this is the big hospital said in newspaper, the record must be written in detail. I want to read records and pin some suspicious points such as time of first victim was bitten. Using this, I can find some clue. The highest position in hospital is dean so I must go to dean's workplace.

While I was in here, I will conduct some test on zombie. Knowledge is power. I know this quite right. I brought out a paper to-do list and held the pencil.

I bathed my armor with zombie's blood and stood before zombie. To attract it to me, I made loud sound enough for it to hear.

I'm doing this because some wild idea from walking dead movie. I also discovered that as long as their blood don't splatter on eyes, mouth, opened wound or anything else similar to this then it's fine. This seems like it can infect through the air.

The result is zombie still attacking me.

-Bathed in zombie's blood: still attack.

I stood far from them and made difference of sound. I tested at different distance.

The result of sound testing is incredible.

-Range of hearing: <70m.

I tested their strength.

The result of testing shows that normal person should avoid at any cost.

-Strength: enough to break adult's bone. The bite can pierce 10 layers of leather. It even leave a bite mark on steel plate with a strong zombie.

Testing their visibility.

The results enlightened me very much.

-Sight: for some reason, their eyes can not see.

Testing of their speed. I stood a certain distance from them and started the clock.

-Speed: very slow.

I bathed my armor with blood again but now is different. This time is human's blood.

-Bathed in human's blood: attack even without making sound.

-Noted: should wash armor carefully after this.

I have conducted many tests for them after that.

When I satisfied with the results, I took what Shizuka want and kept it cold in bus.

Having done what I listed, I returned to reach for the Dean's workplace.

The moment I opened the door, I was surprised that the room wasn't messy like other rooms in hospital. The room was clean and neat. The smell of luxurious wood passed through my mouth. Without doubt, this environment is very comfortable. I opened the computer but it didn't turn on so I have to bring this back to the bus to fix it.

Before leaving here, I gasped papers that seems like the report, information into the bag. I stuffed everything as much as possible.

While I was collecting document, I noticed there is a picture on bookshelf behind the book.

Feeling curious, I picked the picture up to assess. From it, I can assume this is dean's family. A picture showed that his daughter and wife was smiling very cheerful but the dean wasn't smile even little bit. That's strange for me but thing like this isn't rare so I let it off my mind.

When I put the photo back in place, I discovered blood's trace on shelf. Seeing this bookshelf out of place, I knocked to test it. The sound reverberated inside so this bookshelf was hiding something. I tried to push the bookshelf aside and then something was revealed before me.

"Good grief. A secret place. In this place."

An elevator was revealed and it led to the underground. I wondered should I enter this. Thinking for a while, I decide to use a solution that I usually used in past.

"When you don't know anything. Just roll the dice" I picked the dice on table and rolled it.

"If it's even, I go and If it's odd, I don't go" I watched the dice spinning on the ground.

It stopped spinning after short time and the result I received is.

"Even then that means I must go" I looked at the elevator and reconsidered again.

"Very well, since it's even, I should go now" I entered the elevator and pressed the only button.

With that, the door closed and I can feel the elevator move downwards.

It's a long period for me. I don't know how deep is this but I have already been waiting for 10 minutes. I even thought this is a trap.

I waited for a few minute and finally, the door was opened. What welcomed me is a classic room.

"Only this. Is he too rich that he don't have any fun anymore so he built this room in who know how deep it is."

"The mindset of rich people was hard to understand" I nodded my head as this is the only reason I can come up.

Nonetheless, I won't let my guard down. I went around to explore this place. I check every corner. Until I found a corpse laying on the floor. There is a book held by corpse.

Feeling curious, I poked the corpse but the corpse don't give reply. I took the diary from his hands and started reading it.

Day XX- month XX- year XXXX, I felt desperate when witnessing that thing. It's abominable. Why history have something like this but never record.

"Hmm. What is this?"

Day XX- month XX- year XXXX, I don't know why Doctor. Lee was chose for this experiment instead of me. He was boasted a genius but in the end, he is just normal person with normal talent. Why the supervisors appoints him as leader. I don't accept this.

"Lee. Sound familiar" I don't remember who is that so I cast it aside.

And I found another laptop in this place. I don't know what is this but surely, I will bring this to the bus.

On the bus.

I tried to cracking the password which was encrypted many firewall. Under my hands, I succeeded in cracking it. Only 2 document was found on desktop.

I entered the file named "genetic experimental".

"Holy sh*t. I regret now" I quickly closed the laptop and exhaled heavily. This maybe a clue that I long for.

The people in video are cruel.

"So this is it. Does the mission complete" I opened interface and saw that

"So it means I'm not complete this" I sighed heavily.

"At least I go the right direction."

Then I picked another file. This time is information of people. I scrolled down the screen. Of course, I am not familiar with anyone on here.

While I was scrolling down, the radio hanging on my waist rang out.

"Saya must meet something" I picked the receiver.

"Alo."

"Jean, you must save us. The zombie flood into this place."

"Impossible. How"

"A boy opened emergency door and also stabbed people in progress." Saya said in panic voice.

"Okay, I will pick you up so you should escape to safer place."

"I will come in …" I stopped in the middle.

"Something wrong Jean."

"Ah. Don't worry. I will come" I looked at the screen.

There are two people on the screen that I met at Taiei Shopping mall.
