This is so wrong

The detective entered the shooting range and summoned Lian Qiang. "Stay here for now, don't leave," she warned Zhang Jin before departing. Both Zhang Jin and Liu Xian remained in the shooting range room after Lian Qiang's departure. Zhang Jin assumed he would grow bored in this environment.

"Do you have any plans to try shooting?" Liu Xian asked politely, though he appeared disinterested and reluctant to answer.

"Hi, I'm Ling Xue. Would you like to learn shooting?" A girl appeared before Zhang Jin, but he hadn't even reacted when she pulled him toward one of the nearest shooting ranges. The girl swiftly outfitted him with gear and handed him a gun.

"Give it a try," the girl commanded, a smile gracing her face.

He was taken aback by the girl's sudden actions as she grabbed him, but he couldn't react before she had already equipped him with the gear and handed him the gun.

Liu Xian quickly saw what was happening and shook his head. He left the room right away to finish his remaining work. Zhang Jin began to have doubts about trying shooting, but he decided to take a chance and try something new.

Over the next hour, Zhang Jin practiced with a girl named Ling Xue. She showed him how to stand and aim properly. At first, she stood behind him and hugged him gently to help him aim at the target. However, no matter how many times he tried, his hands were too shaky, probably because he wasn't used to holding a gun. The bullets he shot didn't even come close to the target since it was far away and quite hard for him.

After how many minutes, Lian Qiang returned to where she had been.

However, Zhang Jin remained focused on improving his shooting skills. He was quite confident that he could finally hit the target accurately from a distance. Regardless of how many attempts he made, he couldn't manage to hit even a single spot on the target.

Lian Qiang couldn't bear to watch Zhang Jin wasting his ammunition. She approached him, trying to help him out.

The girl Ling Xue was still willing to assist Zhang Jin, but Lian Qiang offered to take over. "Let me teach him," she told Ling Xue, who had been assisting Zhang Jin by hugging him from behind to help him aim.

Ling Xue appeared suddenly, her expression pouting.

Zhang Jin immediately shifted his gaze from the target to the woman who had just arrived.

"That's not how you do it," she commented. "Try closing one eye and keeping the other one open. Your hand should be steadier and less shaky." He quickly followed the woman's instructions, the one who was supporting him to shoot properly.

"Go, shoot," she commanded.

However, when he fired, the bullets only hit the hand of the target. "Look, I did it!" he exclaimed, as if he had won the lottery.

"No, you haven't. You should be shooting at the red part, not the hand of the target," she scoffed.

"I'll teach you. Let me." She took the gun from his hand and cocked it. Without hesitation, she fired the gun three times, hitting the red part of the target. Her confidence was evident even though she wasn't wearing any shooting gear.

"That's how you shoot," she confidently stated.

She offered him the gun, and he took it. He positioned himself and closed one eye while keeping his hand steady. When he struggled to do it correctly, Lian Qiang stepped in and adjusted his posture by hugging him. Zhang Jin felt a sense of unease due to Lian Qiang's breath and her warm body against his.

He refocused on the target and the woman's instructions, trying to ignore his distraction. He slightly shook his head to regain his concentration. "Are you listening to me?" Lian Qiang's voice sounded annoyed.

He refocused his attention and listened carefully to her guidance.

"Pull the gun back," she commanded again. "Try to focus your eyes on the red part of the target and make sure one eye is closed."

He obediently followed her advice.

"Shoot," Lian Qiang ordered, and the gun echoed once more.

"Almost there," Lian Qiang encouraged as he came close to hitting the red part.

"See? I can do it!" Zhang Jin exclaimed again, smiling.

"You're pretty good, Zhang Jin," Ling Xue, the young girl, suddenly commented beside him.

"Not quite. You're focusing with your eye, but your hand isn't aligned with where you want to hit. Make sure both are in sync. If you're looking at the target, your aim should also be on target. Don't just focus on one thing," she advised.

He followed the woman's guidance once again, reminding himself to focus both his eye and his aim. Despite his shaky hands, he chose to persist, aiming to make the woman teaching him proud.

"Now, shoot," Lian Qiang instructed when he had aligned the gun properly.

The shot he took left him amazed. "Did I do that?" he asked in surprise.

Lian Qiang nodded. "Yes, I think you did."

A wide smile appeared on Zhang Jin's face as he looked at her. The genuine smile momentarily stirred something in Lian Qiang's heart, but she quickly looked away, ignoring the feeling. But even though how much she tried to ignore it there were still hint of nervousness inside him.

'This is so wrong' She thought.

The door to the shooting range opened, and Liu Xian walked in.

"Officer Lian, let's have a match," Liu Xian said, holding two fake guns in his hands and tossing one to Lian Qiang, who caught it effortlessly.

"Y-Yes, why not," she stammered, quickly exiting the shooting range, leaving the young man alone with Ling Xue.

Ling Xue promptly took hold of Zhang Jin's arm, wrapping her arms around it, and giggled.

"Let's go outside together?" The young girl asked.

"What are we gonna do there?" Zhang Jin with his curiosity about why did Liu Xian throw a gun at her and asking her for a match.

"You'll find out later. Let's go!" She tried to persuade him to watch Lian Qiang and Liu Xian's battle together outside the Battle Field Simulation.
