Chapter 3

I woke up in an unfamiliar room, i didn't know where I was but i did know it wasn't my room that's for sure. I look next to me and see Klaus laying there and I kinda freak out a little, I gather my things and leave his apartment and he dosent notice thank god for that.

I go home to my brother and Stefan playing a kind of game which i think is chess i'm not really sure. ''What are you two playing?'' i ask wanting to know ''Chess, Ami'' my brother says still eyes on the board and thinking about his 'next move'. I have never played chess or anything nor have i really seen it being played. BUT i have heard of it almost.

''Why though'' i ask not really sure why anyone would sit still watching a board and thinking. Like why would you do that, think if men could use their brain on things that are necessary insted of stupid games and shit, think of the break women would get. LIKE HELLO THIS FACTS! They dont answer

Anyways i just walk out the room and up to mine thinking about what happened last night 'I slept with Klaus Mikaelson, OMFG, i am so stupid, why the hell would i do that sleep with him omg. I mean i dont mind it, it was good but like what was i thinking. Of course it is never gonna happen again, it was a drunken mistake obviously ' i get broken out of my thoughts by Stefan coming in to view in my bedroom door. He walks up to me and hugs me, i have no idea why but he does.

''Okay Stef what are you doing, did something happen?'' i ask not really knowing why he would hug me out of the blue like that but okay. He just stands there hugging me and i hear him sniffling so i pull back and see him silently crying. I dont know why but i just hug him back asking him why he was crying and such.

Stefan tells me he has to leave with Klaus, on a trip to create hybrids. ''WHAT, NO, Stefan i came here for you nothing else you so if you leave then my trip would have been for no reason what so ever. I cant have you go around with him alone so therefore i am coming with you'' i say standing up gathering my stuff but he starts to protest ''No, Mali you cant come with he will kill you or hurt you'' he says trying to stop me but its not gonna work and i know he wont kill me or hurt me after the conversation we had last night before the whole sex thing of course. ''He wont do anything to me, not after what happened last night'' i say mumbling the last part but he heard ''YOU SLEPT WITH KL-''he yells but i stop him by jumping on him, holding my hand over his mouth ''Yes, yes i did but we were drunk and it was a slight mistake.'' i say, he stops trying to speak and fight back and just stares at me in shock and disbelif.

'' I know, i know okay but it wont happen again.'' i say taking my had of his mouth. We hear gasps and look at the door and see Elena, Damon and Apollo standing there, their mouths wide open. Elena has tears in her eyes and the boys look like their in shock. Me and Stefan look at eachother and i remember i am in my underwear, so i quickly climb off him and stand up. Stefan does the same.

Damon stands there smirking looking at me, Apollo looks at Stefan with a pissed look and Elena starts crying and runs out, Stefan runs out following her. I smile innocently and laugh a nervous laugh '' It really is not what it looked like'' i say taking a dress and putting it on. Taking my purse and walking out of the room following Stefan.

It had been awhile since Elena, Damon and Apollo found me half naked with Stefan underneath me. We had now found Nik even though non of them wanted me to come, i did. Right now we were outside a house with Stefan inside eating the people. I was sitting in the car with Nik just talking ''What happened that you chose to come with?'' he asks looking at me '' Well Elena, Damon and Apollo found me half naked on top of Stefan on the floor'' I said simply. He looks shocked ''So two people in 1 day huh?'' he says smirking whilst Stefan sits down in the car, ''What, no, Stefan and i didn't-'' i start but Klaus cuts me off

''Right'' he says sarcastically whilst nodding, ''We didn't you retard'' i say, he just laughs whilst Stefan agrees with me. I huff and sink into my seat. He just laughs and start the car and drives away towards the bar. I start thinking of the fights and times i used to have with my brother Ares when he was still alive

I read from my favorite book WUTHERING HEIGHTS. I heard my brothers having an argument inside but was to sucked into my book that I only heard muffled yells.

After awhile of reading I came to the best part of the book in my opinion but get pulled out by my brothers pulling me up from where I am sat "Sister join us in our quest to find mystical animals" my brother Ares said to my 10 year old self , I giggle as I climb on my brother Apollo's back and they start walking towards the forest. I never knew why my brothers plays these mystical games on me as they know i only base Off of the books and what i have read. I know mystical creatures aren't real and they know that but its still sweet.

We enter the forest and walk looking for 'magical creatures'. I have now gotten of my brothers back and walk by my self. My brothers told me not to go out of their eye sight but I couldn't help it I always have been a curios girl and loved going on little adventures by myself. I heard my brothers yell my name but I didn't listen as I saw what could only be explained as a mystical creature.

It was a beautiful stag with huge antlers. It was drinking water at this beautiful, peaceful waterfall which I immediately fell in love with along with the stag was a number of other animals such as deers, foxes, rabbits, birds and continuing on. It was a gather of all the forest animals being civil to each other.

I walked closer and closer until I reach the water with my toes. The animals had seen me but they simply did not care. I sat down with my toes in the water picking some flowers to make a flower crown. An adorable baby fox makes it way over to me and into my lap, I look at its calm composure and smile.

Suddenly all the animals run away and I get very confused but when my brother show up next to my small body, lifting me up and crushing me in a hug. "I need to breath" I cram out and he releases his grip on me and yells for Apollo to come. "APOLLO, I FOUND HER" he yells and my said brother comes running and hugs me in an equal bone crushing hug "Still need to breath" I say again not being able to breath properly.

"Where the hell did you go, we told you to stay in our eye sight" my brother says in a stern voice, "I'm sorry, I just saw this waterfall and I wanted to go there." I say feeling bad and guilty. "It's okay just don't do it again without telling where your going first" Ares says and i nod my head. We hear our mother yelling for us so we run back to the house and I pick up my book and run inside.

'Spending time with my brothers were my favorite chapter of my life' I think to myself as we eat dinner.

~PRESENT~

'Spending time with my brothers were my favorite chapter of my life' I thought of the exact words going through my head, I always had a favorite chapter of a book and this was my favorite chapter, spending time with my brothers. Now that one of them are gone and I only have one but it is still my favorite chapter.

I get pulled out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing and I look around and don't see Stefan and Klaus anywhere but I don't think any of it as I pick up my phone. "Hello" I say in a cheery voice as always " Finally you picked up I have been trying to call you for 20 minutes now. Where the hell are you Ami?" My brother asks sounding nothing but worried " Calm it Api, I'm with Stefan" I say climbing from the front seat to the back then to the trunk grunting as I do so.

"Ami I thought we had made an agreement to never go anywhere without telling first" he said and I got tears in my eyes think of Ares " I know but the circumstances where very weird okay and we made that when I was 10 and Ares was still alive okay so you do not get to talk about that as it was Ares that made the agreement not you so you be quiet" I say getting angry at him by bringing it up. "I'm sorry Ami I really am but still" he says waiting for my answer but I don't I just hang up.

I hear walking and then two doors opening as well as two voices that belonged to Klaus and Stefan " Mali we are-" he cuts him self seeing I'm not here "Mali" he asks he then turns to Klaus and tells him I'm not here. "No, No I am here just not where I was" I say as I take my book and crawl back over the seats and into the front seat again. "Hi" I say as I looked at them " What were you doing in the trunk, luv" Klaus asks.

I just hold up my book and see Stefan nod and getting in the back. Klaus gets in and starts driving, I get sucked into my book just reading the first sentence as I usually do. I have always loved reading and once I read that first sentence I just fall into the book. It has always been so captivating reading.

We ended up in Chicago and I finished my book so I was going to get a new one but I had to join the boys inside of a bar first I mean why not I do desperately need some wine seeing as I haven't had a good glass since the day before me and Api moved to mystic falls.

We had been talking to this Gloria person for quite the while and I had just found myself a glass of wine and I LOVED it, I had missed it way to much over the days I took three bottles of course I paid for it cause I have manners and we walked out of the bar towards Klaus's warehouse but I didn't go as I needed a new book so I went to a book shop instead.

I was looking around and found a book that sounded very interesting A FERWELL TO ARMS by Ernest Hemingway it was a book about war and love which was two of my all time favorite genres. So both of them in one made my heart melt so I picked it up also got with some other books and paid for them and walked towards the warehouse.

I hear a woman's voice along with Stefan's and Klaus's. I walk in smiling with my nose planted in my new book but get dragged out by someone grabbing it and " Mali, you need to stop reading these. You get to dragged into them." Stefan says as he hands me back my book. I take it and places it back into the bag with the rest of my other books.

" Never, it's never going to happen" i say walking over to one of the coffins and sitting on top of it. I look at the new girl and smile "Hi"  I say she just smiles and says hi back but of course Klaus had to ruin the introduction by yelling at her because she lost some necklace I didn't really get it. " KLAUS" i yell and they all look at me " You cannot yell at her considering she have been in a coffin for 90 years and you are the one who had her the whole time so technically you are the person to blame" i say smiling innocently after.

" What" he ask and the girl just smiles " I'm to blame" he says " Well yes because you are the only one who had her coffin so" I say back jumping of the coffin and grabbing the new girls hand. She looks at me confused " We're going shopping babes" I say to her and she smiles happily and walk with me. The boys following behind being quite grumpy I must say.

We get to the store and start finding clothes. I give some to her and sit down at the end of Klaus's chair. "There has to be more to this dress" she says through the curtain "There isn't" Klaus says pouring a glass of champagne and she walks out. I hit Klaus's leg and he spills some on himself, she laughs as do I. I then look at the girl and " At least your body looks hot in it" i say and she smiles at me with a blush, I see it and smile as well.

She turns to Stefan and asks what he thinks, he says it's nice but obviously lying I mean how rude. " Ugh" she grunts and goes back into the changing room. Klaus gives him a look " nice going mate" he says and Stefan looks at him and then at me "What I said it was nice" he says and the girl opens the curtain a bit "I can always tell when your lying Stefan" she says and closes the curtain again " I can too and that was a big lie Steffiboy" I say and he just glares at me, I smile back.

We were back at the bar and I had learned the name of the new girl Rebekah. It was a very fitting name for the girl, it was very pretty as well. Gloria was trying to find out about her necklace and Klaus's hybrids and why they keep dying. I don't really understand why he wants hybrids when he could just be the only one of his kind. It's very stupid of him but he might want it for protection.

I was reading and walking at the same time, it wasn't anything new as I do it all the time but when Klaus stopped in front of me, I bump into his chest  and he is looking at me accusingly. I look back at him then over to Stefan and Bekah and see Stef laying on the ground with a snapped neck.

" What are you not telling me luv?" He asks and me of course not knowing what he is on about " Well there is a lot, where do you want me to start?" I say because there is a lot I haven't told him of course non of them are about what he wants to know but still.

" Tell me everything, angel" he says and I of course do because somehow underneath all of the evil that surrounds him and the reputation he has he still is a soft, gentle, kind little wolf inside and I can feel that.

"Well what exactly are you looking for?" I ask not really wanting to nor am I ready to talk about Ares. " About mystic falls and the doppelgänger" he says I look to Rebekah with a 'is he serious' look and she just nods.

" You wanna know about a town I have lived in for almost 3 days and you expect me to know everything about a stupid whore and the things happening there." I start and he nods unsure " Okay listen I came to town because of my brother if it was up to me we would have never met and that would have been a sad couple of days for you. Secondly I came for Stefan thirdly I don't even like the little thing and fourthly are you out of your damn mind? I'm gonna tell you something okay have the thought of the Bennett witch not made it's way into your mind, she is strong and she probably found a way to bring the thing back to life right?" I say suggestingly for the last part.

He looks shocked at my sudden thought as well does Bekah. Then he smiles and " I knew you were a smart one little angel" he says I don't really know where he got the nickname but I didn't mind. " Wolfie I'm smart because I am a WOMAN" I say walking over to Bekah taking her hand "She is kinda right Nik" she says walking past him. He looks at us both pretty annoyed but takes Stefan's limp body and puts it in the trunk along with Bekah and the coffins. I sit in the front with Klaus.

We had arrived at Mystic falls to find miss Elena and hopefully kill her but I had a feeling this whole ride that we weren't supposed to kill her which was odd but sure. I had talk with Klaus the whole ride and we were actually getting along nicely i don't know why but maybe this whole summer has a big point in that along with the night we spent together but I really liked talking to him it was nice.

We ended up at the high school which i must say is not good as I HATE school and everybody knows it. Klaus had told me to go with him and for Bekah to stay with Stefan. Which was you know interesting. We walk around the hall until we bump into miss girl or rather she bumps into Klaus he grabs her " We gotta stop meeting like this" he says smiling devilishly. She looks terrified but before I could follow them I get snatched 'RUDE' I think as I get pushed into a wall with a hand onto my mouth.

I see it's my brother so I give him a look that made him kinda uneasy. I lick his hand and he quickly attracts his hand and wipes it on my shirt. " Seriously" he asks looking at me " What" i say confused he then grabs my arm. DRAGS me into the classroom the others are in  and I see Klaus and Bekah inside they both look at me and Apollo " I suggest you let the girl go" Klaus says and Apollo just starts laughing as do I.

They both look confused so I choose to introduce "Klaus, this is my brother Apollo, Apollo this is Klaus" I introduce them to each other "And the gorgeous girl over there is Rebekah" I finish she blushes and greets him and him them. We then walk out of the room with a guy that I forgot the name of trailing behind.
