CHAPTER 4: "A fool to believe..."

Seeing her leaving with Wendy. Rohit didn't foresee this. It appeared hollow inside. These 10 years of friendship just vanished like this. All the things he did to achieve this, he's not sure what he has turned into.

"Rohit she... she knows everything. What if she doesn't help me in the upcoming fashion design competition? I worked so hard to be by her side for the coming day. If she... No, that can't happen. Rohit please help me, I need her help for the competition... hmm?", Riya spoke.

Aditi is an MBA graduate from a reputed college. She entered the college through scholarship... while she was free during the summer she took a fashion course as an option, like a miracle the designs she drew were perfect.

When Wendy saw Aditi's designs, she as a Fashion student held her mouth seeing the beautiful figures on paper. Riya took this as an opportunity and asked Aditi to help her in her designs. Aditi without a second thought helped Riya.

Day by day Aditi also realized that she was interested in designing but Aditi never imagined that she was feeding a snake and it bit her with no gratitude.

"Rohit are you even listening to me?", She questioned after seeing his face.

"Rohit, you said you loved me yesterday and said you will always be there for me and marry me, do you remember the promise of yours' or was it only said to satisfy your desires?", she questioned him. Seeing her face, he erased the thoughts in his mind. 'The one I love is Riya.' He said to himself.

"I know, let me deal it. Don't worry, there are still designers who will help you. Let's go out from here.", It embarrassed him as he saw people staring at them.

"I love you and I know you will...", Riya spoke as they entered his Car.

XX Restaurant...

"Why did you just let him go like that, I should've killed him?" Wendy spoke as she sipped her Cola. Her anger was reaching peaks.

"You know why didn't I believe you when you said he was not right for me?", Aditi asked as she sipped her coke. Wendy was not sure as she stared at her for an answer.

"Because he was the first one to approach me when I was alone in that orphanage. The same goes for you and Riya too. I met you in the course and Rohit introduced her. I didn't even get mad at him when I got to know that he was The Heir of LIFE SHINE {Cosmetic Company, which is one of the best in the country.}I never asked for the reason when he hide it from me. I just thought it's fine as long as he is himself. I thought I don't have to bother, but I was also afraid of rumors and never approached him too. It's him who proposed to me two months back.", She gave a smile.

"But it was a bet, and I was a fool to believe..." Her eyes reddened.

"It's good that you know now and I knew that Riya just approached so you can help her.", Wendy scoffed.

"Don't talk about them anymore. Let's be happy that you didn't lose your first kiss to some bastard like him.", Wendy spoke as she saw Aditi's pale face.

"I'm 22 and that is not something I have to be proud of and isn't it the same case with you.", Aditi spoke as she counterattacked Wendy.
