Chapter 05: Revenge [01]

One and a half hours later.

"May I come in, sir?" The receptionist from before knocked on the door and entered the room.

"Sir, I have brought your foo-" She stopped mid-sentence as she saw three half-naked guys, swinging their sword. Luke was going to say something but Jake put him in a chokehold before that.

The receptionist looked worriedly at Luke.

"Don't worry about him. I think that he hasn't learnt his lesson." I said.

"Actually, I came here to apologise for what happened back there in the inn." She said.

"No, it was totally his fault." I said as I looked at Luke. Jake had now left him from his grip.

"Yeah, I am totally sorry about what happened." He said as he did a thirty degree bow.

"No, I should have handled the matter before it had got too far." She said.

"No, all of the fault lies on that guy." I said as Luke looked a little angry. She gave a slight chuckle at this.

"Anyways, what should we prepare you for dinner?" She asked.

"Anything would be good." I said.

"Very well." She said as she took a slight glance at Luke and then left. I closed the door and then sat on the bed.

'Luke hadn't noticed it but I guess that girl is slightly falling for him.' I thought.

"By the way, how are we even paying for the room and the food?" Luke asked.

Jake had paid for the room when the whole scene was going on.

"We can use the money which we use in-game. The money would be in our inventory..." He said as he further explained in more detail.

"Wow. You know so much." Alex said.

"I was totally hyped up when the trailer of this game was launched. So, I read the lore and everything which someone had to know about this game." Jake said.

"Anyways, let's continue. It's almost done." I said as I picked up the wooden sword kept on the bed and stood up. I swung it one time and then another.

"You all should start too!" I said as they also picked up their swords kept on the bed.

"Really, because of you two. I will probably never get a girl!" Luke said as he swung his sword.

Luke had swung his sword for less time than us because he was unconscious for some seconds.

"Hey, I have a plan to kill that b*stard. So, keep swinging your swords and also listen to my plan." Jake said.
