EPISODE 13: TORN BETWEEN

*phone continuously alarms*

Adelaine groans softly--she groped every corner of her bed with her eyes closed, searching for her alarming phone that's interrupting her shallow sleep.

She's been sleeping for only three hours. She feels sick every time she doesn't get enough sleep.

"Adi," Cassidy called her out with a soft voice-- half awake.

"Your...phone."

Adelaine didn't want to interrupt her sleep and immediately jump out of bed despite her dizziness to look for her phone.

As soon as she found her phone, she immediately turned off her alarm and went straight to the bathroom.

Before closing the door, she peeked outside and checked Cassidy.

Peeking through the door casing, holding the doorknob, she turned off the light switch beside the bathroom door.

"Cassidy, are you going to school?"

Cassidy rolled over and wrapped herself with her thin blanket, covering her face with her pillow.
